Just tell us what you wanted to be when you grew up or what you want to be when you grow up.
I always wanted to be a loving mom, and be an art teacher.

Like most kids there were scads of things I wanted to be, but I remember once in elementary school, they did one of those student interview things on students that were either well-behaved or randomly chosen...I don't remember which, and they happened to catch me on a week where I wanted to be a mad scientist, so that was the answer I gave. My mother later asked me why I could not have simply said "Scientist." I think I just shrugged, but it wasn't so much science as making monsters that I was interested in.

When I was very small, I wanted to be a zoologist. It was not until I was a little older and realized that would require living outside that I decided against it.
Until I was ten, I thought of being an animator. I drew the Disney characters all the time, but when my father criticized my colour scheme for Quasimodo, as I had to use a lighter shade of green, I stopped drawing.
From then on, I was primarily interested in language and translation. I'm hoping to continue studying Korean within the next two years, and once Josh graduates from Columbia, I am applying to Kent State's translation program. Eventually, once I have mastered my East Asian languages, I want to pick up French and German.

Love, you know that story already. Given that until the age of 7 or 8, I threw tantrums if I had to watch live-action, it goes without saying that I was an animation nerd and shall be my whole life.

When I was very young I wanted to be a cop. Then I realized that might actually require shooting people, and I gave that up. Then I wanted to be a teacher, and I did teach for a while as a substitute of sorts. I realized I hated managing an entire classroom and planning out lessons. For a while I wanted to be an architect, but I do really hate math. Dunno what I want to be now. A speech therapist maybe?

I thought it was because you realize what a large percentage of douche bags want to be cops. You know the type....Much better than you should. stare

For a long time it was a veterinarian, and still somewhat is. But I hate chemistry, and have horrible grades in science. I somewhat want to go into law enforcement, whether it be a cop, lawyer (probably don't study hard enough for that), or a K-9 unit. I also like the idea of being a teacher, and hope to maybe be a cop while I'm younger and be a teacher in my later years. If I do teach, I want to be a history teacher, because I love history. Umm.. That about covers it.

From the age of 3 to just a year ago, it was teacher. My dad is a wood shop teacher, my grandpa a college professor, my great grandma Lempi ran a one room schoolhouse. It's kind of the family business. That and woodworking.
In the last couple of years, I'd focused in on history teacher. Now I'm an art history major, focusing on east asian art. I plan to work in a museum or something like that.
