A house stands, almost in shambles, in the center rings of the ichijin clan grounds. This house is the house of Tougura Hideki.

Having disarmed the traps, the only thing left for Tougura to do was to clean. He hadn't been in the house for a year now and it was, quite literally, caked with dust and cobwebs.
"Gah..." he groaned as he opened his window. Dust had even built up there and a cloud of it now fogged Tougura's vision.
I wonder if I could hire genin to do this for me... in all honesty, Tougura didn't think much of the villages new crop of genin. Even the boy he played in tennis seemed rather lacking in anything but his physique. A job such as this, in Tougura's mind, would suit them perfectly. He was reminded why this wasn't possible as he dusted off a portion of a desk and found an old research note left by his father. If he had hired a team of genin to do this, all of his fathers research would be seen as trash and discarded. Giving a slight cough, Tougura picked up his feather duster and went to work.

Halfway across the village, Westly twitched suddenly. Someone had used the concepts of "Genin" and "Hire" within close proximity.
"Entrepreneurial Senses... Tingling!"
Running around more or less blindly, he slid to a stop in front of a house that somehow felt correct. Catching his breath, he read the name plate.
Staring blankly, Westly pointed. "Hideki."

Tougura poked his head out of the window, his hair now ashy from the dust in the air.
"Well, if it isn't Westly-kun..."
h shook his head and let the dust fall into the dead garden below.
"...what brings you here?"

Westly held his hand to his chin, debating how to answer. While he was tempted to simply shout "Magic!", some instinct suggested he be serious this time.
"You need any help?"

"Help" was the first thing Tougura needed...but the last thing he wanted. He knew little of the boy, other than he was a mind that could have rivaled his own, so trusting him with delicate research papers could be quite risky.
"I've...got it covered..."
he gave a fake smile to the boy before heaving a broom from the wall and assaulting the floor with swipes.

That man is hiding something and is therefore interesting, Westly thought as he zipped away.

Coming from the Ichijin memorial grounds Shin decided to pay Tougura a little visit. He watched as Westly zoomed past him but didn’t pay much attention. “Hey Tougura!! You there bra’?! He yelled while waiting for a response.

A cloud of dust popped out of the front door, deeming itself an entrance for a now ashy-gray Tougura.
"Shin?"
he gave a half-wave to his friend and continued.
"First Westly, then you. It seems that I'm quite popular today."
he gave a chuckle before asking,
"What brings you here Shin?"

“Well I was just visiting the ichijin memorial grounds to pay my respects to old genin friends, so I decided to pay you a visit since you live here. This is actually the first time I have set foot in this clan.” Shin leaned against the beam of the house and began to speak once more. “I just wanted to tell you something, but it’s not like me to say this but, I don’t like the new genin, their too arrogant to work around, and if they were to attend a mission it will be total conflict between them. Damn it, ever since the academy was destroyed during the war the hanekage has been promoting some genin that are not really qualified.” Shin took a deep breath and calmed him self.

Remembering Westly's previous appearance, Tougura simply smirked at his friend and said,
"I bet there are plenty of shinobi in this village who think the same of you and me."

“HA!” Shin chuckled a bit and that was the only thing he had said but then continued. “Half of the genin barely know us. And I’ll like to keep it that way. I think I am just a little frustrated."

Tougura sighed at his friend.
"Shin, you let your emotions get the best of you far too often."

Shin stroked his hand through his dread locks and looked towards the mountains then back towards Tougura. “Nah’ this has nothing to do with my emotions, mines are actually in check, I just came to you, and to express my feelings to someone I can trust. So how have you been? I see you got your house back.”

"It wasn't too hard Shin. Without a proper leader, any group of people can be swayed by enough money."
it had cost him a pretty penny, but Tougura had been able to bribe the ichijin council into letting him back onto the grounds. Without Masamune or Azure, the clan's leaders were merely more than corrupt old men who had payed their way into power.
"Things have been going well...I just hope there isn't another outbreak of war..."
Tougura had a nagging feeling in the back of his mind. He had felt it hours before as th last remnants of both Chaos' and Nekage's chakra had faded away. This meant that either one of them had killed the other, and was now suppressing their chakra, or that they had both killed each other. Knowing that Nekage would be the favorite of the pair to have won, conflict in the village seemed very unlikely for the days to come...though there was just a feeling that he couldn't put down...no matter how hard he tried.
