The smooth sand squished beneath Dani's hooves as she trotted across the beach. Feeling a sudden rush of playfulness, she kicked a large hoof-full of sand into the air, then twirled in the falling mass. Giggling like a little filly, she repeated the process, ignoring the grit that lodged itself in her mane, tail, and coat. After all, the ocean was only two steps away.
Laughing, she continued prancing around, carelessly not watching her feet. With a small yelp, Dani felt a chilling blanket embrace her foot. She had danced straight into the water! With a small, content sigh Dani stood still, allowing the waves to wash over her, basking her in a feeling of peacefulness. A moment passed, and she slid into the water. Finally, when the ocean reached her shoulder, she dunked her head in and rolled underwater. Little bubbles floated up from her nostrils and upon resurfacing, Dani snorted. Well, she was clean.

Adonis mistakenly thought he was alone, so he was taking a salt bath which he thought was just lovely for this beautiful of a day. His pink orbs drifted as he suddenly heard splashing and he froze. His eyes darting across the water to see whom was making sunch a nuisance when he was trying to revert to being calm. He watched as a pale face came from the water with lime green and white hair intertwined.
...she was no longer a nuisance.

Languidly, Dani paddled back towards the beach. She had to trudge through the underwater sand, but before long, she felt the smooth and creamy grains of the sun-baked beach. Her playtime over, Dani began to feel hunger gnaw at her stomach--she hadn't eaten all day, come to think of it. Slowly, Dani made her way up the beach, careful not to trip over her painstakingly long mane and tail. Water-logged, it felt like she was hauling ten tons!
Dani froze as a rather ticklish feeling danced across her foot. Looking down, she saw the fleeting shell of a hermit crab as it scurried off her hoof and into the sand. When she looked back up again, she noticed a blue and pink streaked black figure in the water that she hadn't seen before. Her curiosity peaked, Dani called, "Hello?" hoping her voice would carry over the waves.

Adonis looked at her as she dragged herself from the ocean. His brow rose as she finally noticed him and her called back to her acknowledging her prescence finally. He too headed for the hot sands, but he made it out with ease as if he wasn't trying, he flipped his long locks over his shoulder and let his wet bangs fall in his face. He could still see the pale mare though, her colors intrigued him for he had seen nothing like it before in his life. Browns and greens combined and actually looked good? His least favorite colors were orange and green but he wouldn't tell her that. Not a chance.

Dani saw how easliy the stallion flipped his long, black mane--a thick, curly mass streaked with purple and blue that seemed to make up half of his body --although she gave no outward reaction. He was well built, she noticed passively, with a striking white chest against a black coat. As he approached her Dani noticed the sun glinting off of his forehead, glinting off of a purple-tipped, black, sliver of a horn, she realized.
"Hello there," she said when he stood before her. "How are you on this fine day?"

"I am swell, and yourself?" he asked the grounded female as he recalled a conversation with a certain wind about their kind. He felt bad for the prejudice against them but there wasn't really anything he could do about it. He was still nice to them as they still had feelings like any other soquili. He smiled warmly at her in welcoming.
