((This is a log for roleplays between Tod and Copper. We ask that you please do not post.))   Log 1 - Playtime at the LakeCopper randomly appearing out of no where runs in and tackles Tod."Hey Copper!" Tod exclaimed giggling and rolling with the other while lightly tugging on Copper's ears with his teeth.Copper pawing at Tod exclaims, "Hey Tod!"Tod tail wagging happily hugs him. "Hey! Copper wanna go swimming?" He asked beaing at his friend getting up and offering a hand to him.Taking Tod's hand Copper stands up beaming at his friend. "Sure Tod!" He exclaimed tail wagging happily behind him.Tod with a mischivious look on his face said, "I'll race ya."Taking off towards the lake before Tod could get a head start he yelled back, "Last one has to kiss a girl!"Making a face Tod said, "Ewwwwww," as he bolted after Copper, leaping off of a tree as momentum.Giggling as he ran Copper ended up triping and falling tumbling on the ground with an "oof." Giving Tod the lead in the race.Skidding to a stop at the other falling, Tod turned around and ran back over to Copper crouching down beside him, "are you ok Copper?"When Tod reached Copper's side he said, "I'm ok." He then bound up onto his feet and bolted towards the lake once again.Sighing in relief Tod shot after Copper tail puffed up as he exclaimed, "HEY! You meanie." All while giggling in amusement.Giggling Copper slowed down enough for Tod to take the lead, but not so slow that Tod would notice that he wasn't really trying.Tod not noticing that Copper had slowed down, took the lead and bounced off a ledge covering his nose as he splashed into the water. When he broke the surface he was grinning widely proud of himself and yelled out, "Come on Copper!"Reaching the ledge Copper jumped into the lake making a big splahs. As he broke the surface of the water he had a big grin on his face as he swam over to his friend. "Guess this means I got to kiss a girl now?" He said making a funny face as if to say eww gross. He then pounced at Tod with a grin on his face and planted a big ole' kiss on Tod unexpectingly.Tod started to splash back at Copper, but instead he felt his eyes widen, and to his surprise, himself being kissed by his friend, eyes slowly closing. "Copper?" He said blinking at him slowly, "what you do that for?" He asked flushing but not mad.In response Copper shrugged like it was nothing, "There wasn't any girls around, so I figured you were the closest thing." He explained sticking his tongue out at the other teasingly.Tod scowled at his best friend and exclaimed, "Heyyyy!" as he pounced on him bursting into a laughing fit as he did so.Copper laughed as he was dunked under the water, coming up from under the surface sputtering water as he was still laughing at Tod's reaction. Tod smiled at the other and grinned. "Hey Copper?" He said dog paddling over to the other, turning onto his back to float beside him. "I got a secret for you." Tod turned his head to peer at him."Oh? What secret Tod?" Copper said laying back to float next to his friend.Tod leaned forword and whispered in the others ear. "You're my very best friend.' he giggled softly and lightly splashed him before diving under the water enjoying the time spent together as he usually did.Copper squeaked and shook his head Tod's warm breath feeling funny on his ear. Giggling he dove under the water to chase after Tod his bestest friend.The other finally had to break the surface coughing. His eyes scanned the small lake looking for were the other went. A part of him wondered why Copper had settled for him being the one to kiss...he wasn't that much of a girl. He shook his head ignoring the fact...a part of him had liked it for now. He turned around, unknowning this left him with his back to the other least he broke the surface.Breaking the surface Copper tackled Tod with a "Rawr!" Taking them both tumbling back into the water Copper giggling all the while.Tod yelped in suprise, exploding into a laughing fit. He hadn't expected that, at all realy. He fought with the other in an imaginary game of rolling like they'd done earlier. Once in the shallows, and chest slowly rising and falling he peered up at the other and stretched up to lick the other mawl looking pleased with himself.Copper squeaked and blinked before getting off of his friend, rubbing at his maw he gave Tod a wierd look, "what was that for?"Tod shruged a little. "Sorry...." His ears dropped afraid he'd upset his friend, he bit at his lower lip and looked away.Copper squeaked at his friends reaction and looking so sad. He flopped down next to Tod and leaned over nuzzling at his muzzle. "Awww Tod don't be sad." Copper suddenly feeling rather confused.Tod looked back up at the other, a wide considering look on his face before leaning his head on the others shoulder. "I thought you might'ah been mad at me Copper." he nosed at the other ears slowly raising up hopeful his friend wasn't. A part of him wasn't sure why he'd done that... it just seemed like it was the right thing to do.Copper gave Tod a nudge with his nose, "I'm not mad Tod, promise." He then giggled and pounced at his friend in a playful manner.Tod started to nod at the other only to squeek when he was pounced on, tail puffing up some what. "Haha! Copper." He pawed at the other crawling out from under him he moved back a few steps. "Betchya can't find me~" He chimed before darting off to go hide.Copper's tail wagging behind him he blinked for a moment and then darted after Tod to seek him out using his sense of smell to try and track down his friend.Tod wsa pretty sure he'd hid himself well. Covering his mouth so he wouldn't giggle, he settled down in the bush he'd hid himself in and waited peering around for the other incase he caught on to quickly.Copper being decent at tracking worked his way towards the bush that Tod was hidden in stopping at a near by tree and sniffing around it keeping his eyes and ears open for his friend as well.Tod wiggled just a little, before Copper was right at the bush he leaped out and pounced on the other a wide smile on his face. "Boo~" he giggled, and huged at the other before trying to get up, namely to resume there game.Copper squeaked when he was suddenly pounce. "Hey!" he said and hugged his friend back. He then let his friend up, only to get up and tackle his friend sending them both tumbling on the ground.The other hadn't expected that. Making a small sound of surpise he tumbled across the ground latching onto the other a bit dizzy from all the tumbling, but it was ok when you were with your friend. It was all fun. He peered at the other when they stoped rolling and wrinkled his nose, pawing at him.Copper giggled at his friend pawing at him, and before he could get up again he leaned down and licked the others muzzle before getting up and running away to hide.Tod eyes widened, laughing when the other licked him he shook his head and shivered. "You get back here." He grinned and while he looked ruffled up, he was happy. He might not be a tracker, but his nose still worked. The audio's tail swayed slowly, searching, ears errect listening for any sounds. "I'll find you." He said quietly slinking threw the densely wooded forest they'd entered together."Nuh uh!" Copper called out and then covered his mouth. Hoping he didn't given his spot way up in a tree.Tod's ears perked up. He likely would have gone the wrong way if it wernt for Copper calling out. Tail swishing he crouched down and slowly moved in a crawl stalking towords the source of the sound.Coppper watched Tod from his perch in the tree and quirked a brow at how his friend looked. Shaking his head he did everything he could not to giggle aloud, though holding it back made the branch he was on shake rattling the leaves.Tod looked up, eyes widening. "There you are!" he burst into laughter and crawled onto a low branch, trying to climb up to the other, a pleased look in his eyes. He was so very glad he had his friend.... It ment the world to the smaller male. He nearly slipped, but finally when he was close enough he sat on the branch beside Copper and nosed at him. "Hehe~ See I can do it too." he said puffing his chest up a bit.Copper grinned brightly at Tod. "Yes indeedy," he said nosing his friend right back with a smile tail swishing behind him. His ears then perked up to a call in the distance. "Copper time to go," Dark called from the direction of the show. Copper becoming a bit sad said, "aww man. I gotta go," sulking he gave his friend a big hug before climbing out of the tree and running after the sound of Dark's voice calling for him.Tod's ears droped slowly. "Aw...do you have to?" he said climbing down out of the branch huging the other as well. When he moved away Tod noded softly watching his friend go. "HEY!" He called out smiling. "Will I see you tomarrow?"Copper turned around slowing down to a walk he walked backwards and called back to his friend, "you better!" He then waved goodbye to Tod and then disappeared around a bend.Tod smiled softly. "I will.." He called back before moving off to go home as well, namely before Leon and the others got worried.

Log 2 - A Day on the Islands
Copper bounces up and down on the island docks excitedly. Looking over at Dark he danced anxiously, "he's not coming you lied!" He said sticking his tongue out at her. He then looked back out at the water and then back at her, "are you sure he's coming?" Coppers ears flop over and his tail sag as he stops bouncing, "he's not coming." He said sadly and started to head back down the ferry dock towards to island beach.
Tod was actually on his way. Leon had arranged for a boat ride to take him over. That being said, the male looked excited, moving around the edge of the boat to stare into the dark water, excitement brimming in his eyes. He bounced onto Leon's lap, 'will we be there soon?" He asked hopeful. Leon nodded and ruffled his ears lightly. 'Yes, Tod." he smiled at him looking a head. The dock was in site.
Dark was still on the dock and shook her head as Copper went to head off the dock. She looked out at the water and smiled, "Copper I see the boat." Copper perked up immediately running back to the edge of the dock where he bounced up and down, "Tod! Tod! Tod!" He kept saying over and over again as he bounced there.
Tod looked up at the sound of his name, his curiosity exchanged for pure delight. 'Copper!!! Hey Copper!" He called back, perched at the front of the boat, he smiled at the other, a bright wide smile half wishing he could just leap the rest of the way. Instead Leon held the small audio back, just long enough so he could pull up, and tie the boat off. As soon as any could blink although, Tod climbed up and pounced at his friend.
Copper squeaked and giggled catching his friend excitedly hugging him tight. "Hi Tod!" He said giving his friend a overly happy nuzzle. He then grabbed his friends hand and said "Come on Tod!" Before running down the dock towards the beaches. Dark laughed at the two of them as they ran off "well they're off."
Tod's tail swished in an endlessly happy fashion. He couldn't believe he was actually here.. well he could, it was just more that it had finally happened. Leon had taken forever to get them both out here. When Coppers hand closed in his he laughed and darted along side him at a full sprint. "We're we going Copper?' he asked between short pants after some time into there run. Leon rolled his eyes laughing. "Mhmm. I expected that."
"Anywhere!" Copper said slowing down a bit when they hit the sandy beaches of the island. "There's the beaches, the lagoons, the woods. Where ever you want to go!" He said bouncing happily tail wagging frantically. "OH! You want to stay the night too?!?" He asked still bouncing.
Copper nodded and peered around. "Hmm... the beach sounds nice...Or the forest!" he chirped. Looking up at the taller male his eyes widened. "Could I really?" He gasped excitedly and bounced after the other hugging him enthusiastically.
Copper nodded just as enthusiastically, "I already talked to Dark. She said you can stay whenever you want!" Copper said hugging the shorter male back. "Lets go play in the forest, I'll show you the lagoon later and we can go swimming, its less wavy there."
Copped nodded. "Sounds good to me." He paused to nibble at his lip thoughtfully. "I'll let you lead, I don't know this place." he peered around ears perked up. He'd have challenged him to a race otherwise. With that in mind, he followed after his friend.
Taking Tod's hand again Copper bound towards the woods, he knew the area around the manor and the lagoon pretty well so he headed towards the lagoon area so they could play.
Tod held onto the others hands and moved along with him, mostly without question. He did however peer around the other. "So..you live here?" he said nearly tripping, and jumping back at the sounds of rustling, a soft laugh following, a playful grin on his face.
Copper laughed as well, "sure do." He said with a big smile, "Dark has lived here for a few years now, Gareth showed me around the islands so I would know my ways." He said with a proud grin. He then pounced at his friend tackling him to the ground sending them both tumbling.
Tod nodded. "Ohh.. Ok that makes more sense." He said grey eyes wide, rather thoughtful. Yelping in surprise when the other pounced on him he rolled with Copper, tumbling along without a care in the world. Why would anyone? When you had all the time in the world to play, there was no sense in worrying.
Copper giggled as they tumbled and when they finally stopped he found himself below his friend, as well as on the sands to the lagoon. Blinking he laughed and pushed at Tod, "get off," he said with a laugh.
Tod poked his tongue out at the other. "What if I don't wanna~" he proclaimed looking like he'd won, or at least achieved some kind of victory. Tail swishing, he did roll off the other, and settled, sitting on his knees, peering across the lagoon. "Oh wow..." The smaller male exclaimed excited.
Copper huffed at Tod but then giggled as soon as Tod rolled off of him. Sitting up he giggled at Tod's reaction to the lagoon. "The islands have these coves all over them. They're really great! No waves warm water, great for swimming!" He beamed at his friend. Hopping up on his feet he beamed and said, "last one in the water has to kiss a girl!" He then bolted for the water that wasn't far away by any means and splashed in and dove under the water.
Todd's furr ruffled up when the other challenge. But..he soon found it was too late. Narrowing his eyes the fox bound after his friend and pounced at him in the water. Ok...this would be embarrassing buttt.... the smaller male wrapped his arms around the other and pressed a kiss to his best friends lips. "As you were saying?" He asked puffing up a little as if he was justified. He soon broke into a small giggle fit, but held onto him.
Copper eyes went wide in surprise at his friend pulling his own trick. A sly smile crossing his face he wrapped his arms around the other in their hug, "you know you keep doing that and I'm gonna think you like like me or something." Copper said and teasingly he purred at the other before dunking him under the water.
Tod flushed at this, unsure what to say at first. When the others arm tightened around him... he found he didn't mind as much. His grey eyes widened a little when the other said that, and while he started to protest, he was soon dunked under water. Flailing a bit, he clutched at the other resurfacing, coughing. "Hey! Copper." He blinked at the other, tail flicking, and while he still looked embarrassed..he pounced at the other laughing.
Copper laughed and his eyes glinted with great merriment at being with his best friend. When Tod pounced at him he flailed being tackled into the shallows, "no more kissing!" He squealed still flailing as the smaller male was atop him again.
Tod grinned wickedly. "Well you started this!" He chimed in reply refusing to be thrown off, a stubborn little thing to the end.
"Nuh uh!!" Copper said mockingly trying to deny the fact he was the first one to kiss the other and that it wasn't Tod's doing then too. "Don't lie!" he said and stuck out his tongue squirming beneath the other trying to get him off.
Tod pouted at the other and nibbled at the others ear. "Yeah huh!" He retorted scrunching up his nose at the other. He rolled off his friend and crossed his arms over his chest trying to look rightly mad..but ended up bursting into a laughing fit, falling over only to cast water flying every which direction.
Copper pouted and whined at the other, pawing at him, "knock it off Tod! That tickles!" He said flailing, sighing when his friend finally rolled off. Sitting up he huffed when Tod started laughing at him, his tail poofing up behind him. "I did not!" he proclaimed and stood up and dove under the water again swimming a ways before resurfacing.
Tod's eyes widened when the other rose his voice, and dived away. "Copper I don't want to upset you...." he said raising his hand, ears dropping but it was to late the other dove away. The small audio's hand dropped, splashing the water softly and he looked down at his lap. Why was Copper so angry? Maybe it was a little strange, but... he didn't mind. It made him think weirdly, but... With that he had to look away afraid his best friend was angry with him.
When Copper resurfaced he looked back at Tod to find his best est friend looking all sad and pathetic sitting all by himself. This made Copper's own ears dropped. He wasn't mad at the other, just a bit confused, Tod was his best est friend ever. Lately his mind just did weird things. Shaking his head he swam back a little ways before saying, "come on Tod! Aren't you coming! I want to show you the cave behind the waterfall over there."
Tod perked up slightly, tail wagging. He didn't mean to look pathetic.. but he hadn't known what to think. Standing up he bolted after the other, nodding. "Ok Copper!" he called out.. He had been afraid he was mad yes.... only because he had seemed so annoyed with him when he'd been playing...or was he? Tod was pretty sure he'd at least kinda liked what had happened. Shaking his head, the other just wished he could understand. He and Copper..they both were getting older, but that didn't mean they still weren't the best of friends. They'd promised each other they'd be together forever. So Tod pushed his worries away... and zipped threw the water to join Copper.
Copper grinned and splashed at the other when he finally reached him. "Come on," he said before swimming towards the small waterfall. Just before the waterfall he swam over to the shore and heisted himself up onto the rocks. Sitting on the rocks he extended a paw out to his friend to help him onto the rocks with a grin.
Tod caught hold of the others pro-offered paw and hoisted himself onto dry land. Shaking himself off he laughed a little when water flew every which direction. Once up and able to move normally again he moved towards the cave. "Wow.... this place as so many awesome hiding places." The other murmured.
Copper smiled at his friend's wonder and amazement. "You haven't seen the best thing yet. " With that he looked towards the waterfall watching the sun position where he started to count, "ten...nine...eight..." When he reached zero the cave lit up with amber light the walls glistening with the crystals that were all over the cave. Copper stood there watching his friend in the twinkling cave.
Tod literally jumped back in surprise. When everything was lit up his eyes... shone brightly. "Copper...this is.." he walked around the cave jumping back some when something spooked him, but over all... this was the coolest thing ever. Bouncing back to his best friend he grinned up at him. "Thanks Copper, today has been really awesome." He admitted sheepishly taking a seat pulling his own tail into his lap to smooth out.
Copper chuckled as he watched Tod, "nothing to be spooked at in here." He said after his friend jumped. "I've had a ton of fun today with you too Tod." He said beaming. He then walked over to one of the walls and picked up a loose crystal from a nook, bringing it over to Tod he handed it to him. "In memory of today," he said with a bright smile, not exactly sure what it all meant to him exactly but he loved it none the less, and nothing was going to change that. "Come on its gonna be dark soon we should head to the manner."
Tod gently accepted the small crystal... wonder shining in his eyes. "Are you sure?" The fox said looking up at him. When the other left no room for doubt, he gently cradled it. Like there friendship, he would hold onto it forever. Even if that seemed like such a long time... it still was meaningful. Shaking his head he moved closer to Copper and hugged him. "I'm glad we're friends Copper." He added before heading back to the cave entrance, tail slowly swaying playfully.
"Me too Tod." Copper replied hugging his friend back tightly looking down at the smaller male. He looked after Tod a moment as he headed for the cave entrance, Tod's tail catching his eye he looked down at it and then shook his head quickly before following him out of the cave. When they were beyond the wet rocks he looked over at Tod with a grin, "come on lets go! Race ya!" At the same time Dark's voice could be heard calling them from down the path ahead of them.
Tod laughed at the idea. "I bet I'll beat'chya." He proclaimed bolting into a run. He was fast, slender and agile. While Copper was no push over he knew, the fox was aware his size did give him some what of an advantage. To bad he nearly tripped, only saving himself from crashing onto his face by having to slow down a notch. It was days like this he would remember forever, no matter the changing season..or the time of day. Friendship...it meant everything to him. Without realizing it, he'd already fallen for his best friend.
Copper laughed and took after Tod, he gasped as he saw his friend trip but sighed with relief seeing that Tod caught himself from falling to the ground. Continuing to chase after his friend he couldn't help but laugh and smile. He always loved every moment he spent with Tod and he knew that no matter what he would always cherish the moments he had with his friend forever. Seeing the manner in sight Copper picked up his pace to run along side of Tod. Running up onto the steps where Dark was waiting.

Log 3 - A Day on the Islands (Part 2)
Unfortunately messenger was being well a pain in my rear that day so I didn't get it logged. But I'm going to summarize it a bit here as to any future logs don't seem like there's some big hole.
Back at Dark's manor Copper and Tod played inside now that it was getting too dark to be playing outdoors. They chatted about nothing in particular as they ate their dinner that Dark had brought to them. They laughed and played, just being the two goof balls that they are. Video games, eventually turned into yet another pounce and wrestling match between the two boys. Yet another kiss occurred so suddenly between the two that neither knew how to really react this time around so they ended up scrambling away from each other in slight embarrassment looking at each other funny. Neither quiet being able to figure out why they just did that again. In both their heads they decided that deep down inside they actually liked kissing the other despite what others might think. Though neither of them said so to the other because they weren't sure what they might think. Though neither exactly understood what they were truly feeling they both knew that one thing was certain if they found the other kissing someone else, they wouldn't like it.
Well thats the basic summary of the events that took place. So one never knows what might happen in the future. twisted
