Well, yes he is a best seller, and he wrote the Sword of Truth series. While I can't say I personally know the man, I have tried to keep up with his books. If you want to know more about him than just the known fact that he is a writer, try going to terrygoodkind.com. It's his official site, and it has different links for his books, his life, and other things he has going on. Hope this helps everyone who's looking to find out more about Terry Goodkind.

(in a side note, he changed publishers in June, for 3 more books. The first one should be coming out fall 2009.)

I was hooked by his first book, but as the series progressed I became less and less interested in the plot.

I know it is hard to keep such a long story going, but the first book was enough that I hoped it'd persevere.

I just made a thread about this a little while ago!
He wrote my favorite series. 3nodding

@ Iyraiai
I liked every book. I also liked how in depth it was. Like how the real meaning behind what Shar said was only fully explained in the one of the last books.

I read his first book, and though, oh this is good, so I continued to read six more, but I think I only did that just to try to finish the story (i can't stand leaving a series unfinished). But basically third book in, it just started going down hill for me, so I gave up. I really didn't enjoy them... I found them a bit flat, but whatever floats your boat. smile
