Mike charged through the curtain with all his trademark energy and force, meeting the fans with a roar. He stared down to the ring at Jed, a different kind of passion shimmered in his eyes.

"And introducing his opponent, weighing in at 245 pounds. From Fort Collins Colorado by way of Seattle Washington. He is The Innovator, Mike Landry!"

Mike didn't run to the ring as he usually did, but he wasn't slow. He marched powerfully, eyes locked on Jed the entire way down the ring. After seeing the video package the company had put together this match had so much more meaning to it. They had been fighting for so long and now it was the night to put it to rest once and for all. He jumped onto the apron and slid through the ropes, never taking his eyes off of Jed. He stood in the corner and waited for the bell to ring.

Mike shrugged it off and paced for a moment in the ring.

*Ding ding ding*

Mike simply held a hand up, calmly asking for a test of strength. It was all he could do to keep his head clear.

Mike hunched over and held his stomach, "Damnit..." he muttered under his breath.

Mike's head shot up and he fell against the ropes after the knee lift connected.

It was far too early in the match for Jed to let Mike get any energy back. He shook his head clear and charged in behind Jed, trying to plant his boot straight into the small of Jed's back at high speed.

Mike ran to the opposite ropes and ran full speed back, when he got to Jed he would jump straight up in the air and tried to land both feet into the back of Jed.

Mike backed off into a corner and watched Jed, calling for the referee to make a ten count. He knew he probably wouldn't pick up the win right there, but he wasn't all the way into the match.
