A specter stepped out of the shadows of twin oaks, a blazing blue light in the night. Pyralis, the unicorn, one of seven sisters. The embodiment of the element of fire, her white coat licked with flames. "A pleasant evening for a stroll," the mare quipped, moving out of the underbrush and into the moonlit clearing. "A shame I don't much feel like wasting time with such trivial things." Where were her sisters? As different and diverse as they were, there was enough of a bond between them to keep them coming together. Yet now, it seemed that wherever she looked, she could not find them. It had to be an oversight on her part, and not a simple desire to remain hidden on theirs. Between the six of her sisters, at least one of them had to be attention seeking. She'd find them, one by one. Whatever it took.

Why oh why had she tried to help that bird, well she knew why but now she was suffering the consequences. She'd stayed awake far too late, dusk had passed and darkness covered the land. How long it'd been she didn't really know, all the mare really knew was that she couldn't see much past the end of her nose and... she didn't like it. It reminded her of the past, the one she tried so hard to forget, and her memories often brought out the worst. She'd hopped around for awhile now, cowering behind trees, watching the darkened forest to see if anything was coming... Vieno even recalled jumping out of her skin when she saw a wolf emerge. Fear caused her to panic and she'd never quite figured out how to calm herself down until the sun came back up.

Once again, the mare closed her eyes, counting to ten and breathing slowly, that didn't work. Focusing on one spot and staring at it for the longest time only made her more nervous and forget counting sheep... in her mind their eyes began to change to a crimson color, their maws coated in dried blood. No! She quickly pushed the image from her mind and shivered, not due to cold but rather emotions she couldn't control. It was a pitiful sight, watching a horse jump at the smallest sound or movement.

The shivering stopped for a moment as Vieno noticed something off in the distance. It was bright, glowing all most... like fire but... different... It was moving so it couldn't have been fire, could it? Forgetting her fears for just a moment, Vieno stepped forward, curiosity taking over. Just as she was about to take another step forward, something darted between her feet. She screamed loudly and reared, jumping back when her front hooves touched the ground. It was then the fear started back up, whatever the strange blue glow was she'd never find out, she was staying in this spot and she wasn't going to move!

Well, at least... not until the sun came up.

As luck (or perhaps not luck, depending on one's perspective) would have it, Pyralis was headed in Vieno's direction, so the frightened mare would indeed get to meet the strange blue glow. A strange blue glow connected to a pure white body, and silver hooves. Somehow, the unicorn managed to see despite having eyes that were literally on fire. Perhaps her sense of smell and hearing assisted her more than her sight, but there was no way of knowing if that was the case. She seemed to see well enough, in any case. "Well, well, what have we here?" Such fear in a mare. Pyra had never seen its equal before. What exactly had frightened the seemingly timid creature? The faint creaking of her armor, combined with the chiming of her hooves and crackling of her fiery mane made quite a concert of sound. "Tell me, shy one, why are you so afraid?"

She'd been wrong, not like she was always right or anything but... the blue glow had come directly toward her and even managed to distract her for a moment. Luckily, nothing else darted between her legs so she could focus on what she'd soon found out was walking fire. After several moments passed she realized it wasn't fire, but a Soquili, with fire surrounding her beautiful body. She stood, frozen in place, knowing the mare had most likely noticed her fear of the dark. This of course made Vieno a little upset for she liked to consider herself strong and brave, not... frightful and skittish.

When the mare spoke she sighed and looked at her glowing brilliance, making sure to forget it was dark outside. "I... I'm alright," Vieno nodded confidently and smiled. She'd never seen anything quite like this mare before... but she'd met quite a few surprising individuals around Kawani Villiage so she wasn't completely surprised.
