 Quixote was out on a mini-adventure! He was off to look for the evil Kalona that had attacked his mother and father the day they had met, just like in the story they had told him! The Kalona was described as a green Kalona with reddish pink eyes and wings who had the unusual ability to breathe fire. Surely she would be no match for Quixote and his sharp wit! He laughed proudly, thinking of how intelligent and conscientious he is as he walked straight into a tree branch. "Ouch! Curse you, you vile tree! I shall beat you with my own two hooves!" proclaimed Quixote defiantly. He turned around and kicked the tree with his hind hoof, only sending an equal force back to his body. "Oh, you asked for it now!" Quixote then continued on his fight against the evil tree.

She made a face in disgust and sighed softly, the things she'd seen in this area... she was going to be blinded for life. Flicking her medium length hair to the side, she messed it up further and fussed more. If one good thing came out of this it would be that she did lose her sight, at least then she wouldn't have to go through the agony of gazing upon this... creature. Was it even a horse? She couldn't tell.
Feeling confident, the mare caught a drift of wind, riding on it as she slowly fluttered to the ground. Upon reaching the solid surface, Shai changed into her normal flutter form and tsked silently. Seconds later she marched up to the stallion with as much bravery as if she were bigger than him, even when she was quite the opposite, and cleared her voice. "Ahem... AHEM," she tried, wanting to catch his attention. "I don't know if you realized... trees don't talk... and if they did, I'm sure they'd want better company," she sighed, knowing the day was going to be a long one.

Quixote let out a powerful hearty and loud laughing chuckle. "You silly strange butterfly horse crossbreed thing you! Don't be ridiculous or I shall slay you for I am Quixote, the great son of the great knight Quetzal and the great princess Eydis! I am of a great royal family and I am great!" boasted Quixote defiantly. "You most certainly don't want to challenge me for I can already detect that you are in fact, not great, for you are just a mare in the presence of a noble stallion." Quixote then lowered his voice to what he thought would be an intimidating whisper. "Dost thou darest to defy me? If so, then EN GARDE!"

Oh, she'd heard about this before! Colorful butterflies were a warning not to eat them because they were poisonous to birds, maybe this thing's coat was a warning to get the hell out when you had a chance. Too late now, he was insane and she was stuck listening to him... it. In truth she didn't mind... much... she could pick at him for a bit and have her fun. When she was done she'd leave. Not like he could stop her! Silly ground Soquili.
"A knight that married the Princess? Sad story indeed, a princess not quite good enough to fetch a prince," she tsked a bit and gave him a look of pretend pity. "At least that knight fetched a good prize! I mean a hideous princess is better than more battle scars, right? Oh, how I do love a good fairytale," she giggled, a very obvious fake giggle. "So uhm, may I ask you something?" she didn't wait for a reply, "If your mother is an ex princess and your father is some trashy knight... what does that make you, the product of the horrible relationship? Are you like... a peasant who seems to think he's still royalty? Oh, I get it, I'm sorry... if living in your mother's past is all you have left to live for, go for it!"
She stepped back when he asked if she'd defy him, her face got all screwed up for a moment before she burst out laughing. "Are you sure you can catch me? I mean... I'm not really afraid of... a noble stallion..." she continued to laugh at the last bit. "Oh, I get it, you're trying to make me have a heart attack from laughing so much! Well, you're on the right track." Except, by that point she'd stopped laughing and was staring blankly at him. Only one word was in her mind at that very moment and that word was... pathetic.

Once again, Quixote let out a roaring laughter at this strange butterfly mare. "Silly...thing," he mocked. He wasn't quite sure what she was for he had never seen one of her kind before. Perhaps she was a tree demon! Maybe she was the demon of the tree that had attacked him! Quixote may have to be cautious if she attacks him again! "Dost thou darest mocketh me? Listen, tree demon, my mother is not an ex-princess, she is a princess and my father is the best knight of these lands. Do not call names with out evidence to back them up you blubbering fool or, and I've said it once and I'll say it again, I shall slay you, tree demon spirit!" Quixote got into a defensive stance, then charged at the tree spirit but quickly and sharply turned before colliding with her in effort to kick some dirt into her eyes.

What an idiot, she'd seen confused Soquili before but this had to be one of the worst. Blubbering fool indeed, he just named the exact words she could have used to describe him. What was this nonsense he was going on about? Tree demons? Did she look demonic to him? Then again, he did seem to have a few issues, perhaps temporary hallucinations or blindness came with them. Was it wrong to insult somebody who was insane, maybe they didn't really know what they were doing... or something... Okay so the truth was out, Shai didn't really care, but... she was going to be nice to him and talk ever so slowly. "I... know.... it.... must.... be.... hard... to... understand... but... soon... you'll... come... to... terms... with... it..." she said, softly and slowly. Okay, she was done, this slow talking thing was frustrating and annoying.
"Okay, I'm not going to sit here all day and take 5 minutes to say a single sentence! You're confused, alright? There's no princes, princesses, knights, whatever else you have going on in your mind and there's CERTAINLY no tree demons. Where did you get that idea?" she sighed and shook her head, fighting the urge to just kick him. She was so easily frustrated these days. Sizing him up, she realized he probably could 'slay her' if he really planned to, but she didn't think he truly had the guts. She moved toward him slowly and pranced around him slowly. Quite the scene it was, the much smaller tree demon sizing up the knight for a fight.
Sighing, she moved away from him and shook her head, "I'm bored and you burn my eyes," she announced. It wasn't like she was being rude, only truthful, right? "Maybe we'll meet up again when you're covered in mud and you finally realize your whole life's a lie. I think you're just a bit confused right now, and everyone is at some point in their life, right?" Shai especially, she found herself in a confused state daily, meeting all these idiots.
