As I recall, Naku also played Sims 2, and there are probably others in the Guild who like it as well. I want to give us a place to chat about it, share links to cool custom content, or post pictures and snippets of our Sims, so that it doesn't spill all over the place where non-players have to scroll past it. :3

So, that said, I have The Sims 2 and am up-to-date on most of the item packs and expansions, the latest one being Freetime. There are a few item packs I still need to get but I'm not sure exactly which ones have been released since I last updated my stuff. I also want to get the stand alone Sims 2 Castaway game. I got the DS version which was very very reduced and I didn't care much for it, but I liked the idea of it, and wouldn't mind giving it a chance, if it were more like Sims 2 for the Gamecube or Playstation.

What do ya'll think?

Well I've been playing with the Sims alot lately and I made sims of Ichigo and Onigiri. Below I have some screenshots for you. :3 Ichigo is a love aspiration sim, and Onigiri is the pleasure aspiration. ;D

Onigiri finds Ichigo massively attractive.

Ichigo is a brat who knows he is cute.

And this shot is more to show off the cupcake tanktop. :3 It's merchandise from their stripclub called the Cupcake Club. Not to be confused with my doll commissions business by the same name.

And one last one of Ichigo being a DJ because he is really good at it and looks cute while doing it.

I wish I could play Sims ;_______; the computer is completely filled up with random important things and I can't conceivably get rid of anything else.

so later today I'm going to wallie world to get some extra gigs or something. heart I can't wait to make pretty sims and houses and fun yay!

Hooray! Yeah you should get a secondary harddrive. It's good for backing up stuff anyway. You can get like a 500gig one online for about $100. I want one. *foams at mouth* I look forward to seeing your simmies.

Zomg the hard drive I sent off for should be here today or tomorrow, it only cost 74 dollars. I think I got the 500 gig, but I'm kind of scatterbrained so I'll have to check. @.@

omg xD i'm so exiteddddddd!

okay so, it's not exactly the sims, but until then I'm playing Second Life again to tide me over. XD! *rolls* I made a new avvie, and bought a pretty hair that I adore. I'm still trying to find that PERFECT skin, which I may have to make myself. D: In the meantime I found a nice free one with a mole.

I want one with moles, freckles, and nice shadowing under the neck and cheekbones, but it's hard to find one that has it all. @__@

oh the lag! D:

You may find that it's easier to grab a skin with the shadows and do the freckling and moles yourself. :3

I need/want to make some custom skins for Sims 2 with tattoos and all.

Hmm .. you may be right there. xD! Second Life skins are actually quite similar to Sim skins, only that Sim skins generally look way more polished and animated. Most of the skins are "no mod" meaning I can't change them. ;_; So it's hard to find a nice one that I can edit .. hmm .. well I think that mole-skin is modifiable, I just have to figure out the program to edit it. xD

I've gotten addited to shopping in SL though XD .. zomg. bad habit. that and taking photos. I don't get to do much landscape photos anymore because the lag on SL is absolutely horrendous. X_X;; (which is the one major fault with the whole game. that and an insanely unmanagable inventory list. and the unresponsive moderators. ) xDDD

SL < Sims

xD

Well I don't know how Second Life does their skins but you could theoritically take the graphic from a Sims 2 skin and use it for Second Life if you had the right software. There are tons of free to use, free to change with credit skins over on ModTheSims2. :3

And on that note, I downloaded a bunch of new wallpapers, floors, plants, and clothes yesterday. I will be overhauling a couple of lots and posting pictures. X3 Hooray!

So I got The Sims Castaway Stories, and I love it so far. I haven't finished up the storymode yet but I've reached a plateau there. I'm playing with a Roro I made, and his son Bailey. Roro's hooked up with a native named Mareva. Pics of the three of them below!

so i gave in and i'm downloading a torrent of sims2 plus like.. 11 expansion packs. xD i get the feeling that's still not everything, but it should be plenty until i get sick of it and wonder why i wanted to play at all (which happens after a week or two generally)

there is a possibility that with working all day it could take me longer to burnout though, we'll have to see i guess. i'll post here when i've actually got it installed and i'm ready to play.

Castaway Stories is a stand alone game, in case I didn't make that clear. Bon Voyage lets you enjoy beaches in a slightly different way though. :3 I really hope you enjoy it, while you play it, and don't feel it was a waste of time and space.
