I've read books while taking a bath, in the public restroom, and hanging upside down on my bed. (half way on, half way off.)

So, where is the oddest place you've ever read a book?

I'd have to say the strangest place I've ever read a book was in a shops changing room whilst my mother was buying clothes. She basically grabbed a few things and threw me into one of those cubicles! Thankfully, I had my Anne Rice, so all I had to do was pretend I was trying on the clothes xp

On top of a bathroom counter.

Sitting on top of a (covered) salad bar in the kitchen of a restaurant I worked at at the time.

A race track while the cars were zooming by at over 200 kilometres per hour. Yes, they were loud. And I was perfectly comfy reading The A-List. I absorbed everything too. I tune out well. razz

Other weird places would be the restroom at school, lying on the path of a "park" while class started, swings, and while walking.

I couldn't even begin to concentrate at a race track!
I am amazed. @__@
I find it hard trying to concentrate with a television on... but, woah. You're awesome. =D

Why thank you. I try.

whee Keeding. I prefer to read in extreme quiet, but I've adapted over the years. I'm probably one of the biggest bookworms ever. Even textbooks make me weak in the knees. :3

WE SHOULD BEFRIEND EACH OTHER. I need more bookworm friends like woahs.

I really should go to bed now. D: -drags self off to sleep with pretty psychology textbook-

I like the extreme silent because I can actually picture the setting inside of a book better... and I act like a freaking grizzly bear if I'm bothered. .__."

Eh.. sometimes I shy away from textbooks, because normally textbooks=homework. D:

There's an idea! Your cap-locked invitation intimidates me and makes me want to befriend you. XD (Lol, just picking.)

I am generally very angry when people interrupt me when I'm doing something. That tends to be almost always. x3

I don't like homework, but just the idea of reading, even out of a textbook, excites me. Well, as long as I don't owe homework from the textbook. xDD

Whoohoo! I have successfully intimidated a new friend into my circle of... something. I win at life. ;3

-steals your msn- :3

Woah, I don't think I could read at a cemetery and concentrate. It's not that it would bug me or anything... I think it'd be real exciting to read a horror novel... but other people would probably look at me in an odd way. T___T

@ Inu:: Sweet, I too have stolen yours. X3

Too funny.

I've managed to read in a construction zone--the library where I work was getting totally remodeled. Even though we were closed to the public all the staff had to report--and the only space we had for breaks was right next to the area where the old floor was being jackhammered apart. eek

Hmm, I suppose the oddest place would be at a high school basketball game. Totally blocked out all other noises! xd
