A Little Intro...
Welcome to Enkai Academy where we raise our students to be ready for the real world outside our black, iron gates....
Welcome to Enkai High Academy
Enkai Academy was established in 1931 for students who wanted to pursue certain fields of studies. Enkai has an elevator system in which tests are taken to determine whether or not they go to the next level. Students are able to climb up the academic ladder starting from elementary school all the way to university level. Courses range from the usual math and science to even magical classes of divination and potions. The curriculum at Enkai allows students to choose their own subjects. Subjects are divided into "specialized" and "generalist" subjects. Through the specialized subjects students can broaden their knowledge for a career in related fields. It is up to the student to take specialized or generalist subjects. But not everyone is accepted into Enkai Academy. Only those who excel in certain subjects, the arts, sports and also magic are accepted into Enkai. However, some average students are taken in, in order to make the school seem "normal".
Tension lies in every corner with students competing to be the absolute best. From academics to sports students compete to be the one at the top where rewards come instantly. A select few students are invited into 'the Golden Court', a board of the top ranked students of Enkai High Academy. There are only a few spots in 'the Court' and to get this deep honor is only available to those who work extremely hard. No students without any special abilities are able to be in it, sorry. The Court runs the student body and holds parties, events, and anything else that they want. Members of 'the Court' are considered royalty of the school and should be respected by all, because they have great leverage with the Head Master and are the most talented. Any age of student is allowed in. Special classes are available only to the members of 'the Court'. Second to the 'Golden Court' are the members of the 'Silver Court'. These students are not as talented and specially treated as the 'Golden Court' but they still attain some sort of power.
However, there are rumors of a group called the 'Black Court', who don't believe it is right that only a select few should be in the high council. They are students without abilities, who weren't good enough to get into 'the Court', who were thrown out, and some were invited to join, but turned down 'the Court'. The 'Black Court' enjoy getting back at 'the Court' and cause havoc and mayhem within the school.
The Campus
Enkai Academy sits on a 640 acre land (one spared mile) in the middle of a valley. There are four campuses and two dorms. The South Campus is where the University Classes are held. High schoolers take classes from the East Campus. The Central Campus contains the Middle School and the West Campus belongs to the Elementary. The North campus is where the two dorms are located.
~Dorms~
The East Dorm or the Marshmallow Dormitories belong to the ladies. There are at most two girls per room and each room is equipped with two king sized beds, two closets, one big flat screen T.V., two study desks, windows, and two dressers for each pair of students. It is five stories wide and each floor is has about twenty suites and two communal bathrooms at each end as well as laundry rooms. The first floor (bottom floor) contains a kitchen area with a couple of stoves, fridges, ovens, microwaves, sinks, and tables, as well as a common room area with couches and tables scattered about. Males live in the West Dorm or the Popcorn Dormitories, which is practically the same as the ladies. Opposite genders are allowed to enter each other dormitories until curfew, which is ten o'clock P.M. The dormitories are only available to high schoolers and above, as well as foreign exchange students. It is not required for students to dorm.
~Campuses~
In the main building of each campus there are many classrooms, a cafeteria, library, pool, gym, workout room, and computer lab. There are specialized music booths to record music and an auditorium which contains a very large stage. The school grounds are lush with greenery and there are many water fountains. A few gardens and parks dot the land. Two soccer fields, a football field, and ten tennis courts are also scattered throughout about each campus. Court meetings are held in the auditorium.
Uniforms!
Enkai Students are required to wear the Enkai Uniforms according to which school they are in, except for University students. These are the High School Uniforms:
Girls
The first row is the Winter Set, second is summer and last is fall. However, girls are able to wear whichever set they choose... as long as they are comfortable in them.
Boys
Boys are allowed to take off their outside jacket if they wish. Also, a thicker, black winter jacket with the school's emblem is also provided for colder whether.
The Students
{Rank} - About the Rank
The Golden Court
{ K i n g } The Golden King is supposed to be the most skilled student at the school. He has the highest grades and he's the one with the most authority. The Prince has the most say in most things and does a lot of things behind the scenes. He has such a big influence that the school is almost basically run by him. He is the one who plans most of the school events and things like that. He is to be addressed by 'Ousama'.
{ Q u e e n } - The Golden Queen has the second most authority at the school. Her skills are pretty much on the same level as the King's. Her roles are pretty much the same as the King. She helps the King out with a lot of stuff and is like his assistant. She is to be addressed by 'Hime' or 'Himesama'.
{ J a c k } - The Jack is one level behind the Queen. His/Her skills and grades are just one step behind hers. He/She has a lot of authority as well and help out in what goes on in the school. He/She shall be addressed by '...-sama'.
{ Ace } - The Ace is pretty much on the same level as the Jack. There really isn't much difference between them besides for their Titles. They do pretty much the same things and are pretty much equal academically. He/She shall be addressed by '...-sama'.
{ J o k e r } - The Joker is like the Ace and the Jack. The Joker's on the same level as the other two. The person with this position is sort of like the Class Clown of the group or comic relief. This person is a joker--court jester. He/She shall be addressed by '...-sama'.
There are ten members on the 'Silver Court'. They don't have as much authority as the Golden Court members. The members of the Silver Court have to work really hard to keep their positions. Their main role in the Court is to make sure people around the school stay in order and they also get to vote when meetings come up.
The Black Court
{ K i n g } - The King is the leader of the Black Court. He is the one who plans most of the things that the Black Knights do and is the mastermind behind most of the trouble they try to cause. He has a serious grudge against the Court and is skilled enough to become a member of the Court but has turned down an invitation.
{ Q u e e n } - The Queen has the second most authority in the Black Knights. She is the King's assistant and helps him out. (Like how the Hime helps the Prince.) The Queen is also skilled enough to become a Court member but turned down an invitation.
{ R o o k } - The Rooks are right behind the Queen of the Black Knights.
{ B i s h o p } - The Bishops are on the same level as the Rooks and Knights but their roles are a bit different. The Bishops are the intelligent ones in the group who are cunning and very quick thinkers. They're normally the ones to get the Black Knight members out of trouble by thinking of good excuses. But they aren't as loyal as the Rooks and Knights. They side with the ones who have the best deal and whichever side with the most merit.
{ K n i g h t } - The Knights are the ones who cause the most chaos at the school. They are always up for a competition and are very, very loyal to the Black Knights and very protective. They're like the bodyguards.
{ P a w n s } - The Pawns are like the lackeys. they carry out most of the plans of the Black Knights. (They're like the soldiers in a way.) Some of them go around to try and get others to go against the Court. The Pawns look up to the other Black Knight members though some of them might not be the most loyal people.
Normal Students
These are the normal students of the school, they are not part of the Court nor the Black Court. They can have powers or special talents. Normal Students make up the majority of the school.
