Hey there, I just got accepted into the guild literally a few minutes ago. So I suppose I just wanted to say hello. I couldn't find a welcome board if there was one. << I suppose it would be irritating if that's all this thread was about, so here's a recent piece of OC art I just completed for my art shop. Comments and criticism are always appreciated. I'd also like to know a bit on how this guild operates, this is my first guild on Gaia, so I guess I'm an ultra newb. Bare with me sweatdrop .

Your art is loooovely ~ it really is. I really like how your is so soft and the lines are also really clean.
I really can't find too much to critique, really. XD
I think one thing that sorta stands out to me are you clothing folds. They seem to be folding in ways that natural folds wouldn't really fold like unless pulled in a certain direction.
Other than that I think it looks great. O:

Because boys are icky. Draw: My OCs? ^^ Thank you. Yeah.. I've gotten a bit rusty on clothing folds, I've been considering doing a piece cluttered with cloth to get my mind back up to speed. o.O I usually love baggy clothes.

Hello! blaugh I'm Tarff (obviously). You'll soon find (from either me critiquing one of your pics or you seeing me critique others) that I am very prone to details. And I critique A LOT. I don't do it to be mean; I just tend to talk/type a lot and I get overenthusiastic about trying to help people correct flaws (or rather, things that seem/feel a little off) that most of the time I can't pick and choose.
Anyway, with this guild you simply post your thread (just like everybody else) in the main thread if you're looking for critique and stuff. Also, if you look at subforums then you can post your stuff there (if they fall under those categories). You may want to check them out anyway, though some aren't used too often. However, I think you still may find a new Art Contest every once in a while. But mostly everyone posts here.
And now the good part: YOUR PICTURE! rofl I really like your art actually. And I don't think you'd see many problems unless you were actually lookin' for them. mrgreen Well, after searchin' here's what I found. I kinda agree with the person above a little on the folds. Also, the neck may be a tiny (I repeat: tiny) bit too long, and a little too thick. Again, not by much. Their face is also a tiny bit off. The chin looked a little big, but (after looking further) I realized that their face is up a little too far. Usually, eyebrows allign fairly well with the ear. Now, I don't think you should move it down that far since it's not realism. However, to keep the chin from lookin' a little too big and keeping it a little more proportional (? Is that the word?) you could move her actual face down a mm or two. Then again, it could be just me, so if you don't feel like doing such a thing I don't think your picture will suffer for it (remember, I actually looked for things that might be a bit off). And the last thing is the wings. They're lovely, don't worry. It's just, they look (mostly on the right wing) just a little too soft, like the dog fluff stuff that Sesshomaru (from InuYasha) carries on his shoulder for whatever reason. Just, some of your feathers seemed to curve a little more like cloth rather than feathers.
Told ya I say a lot. It really is a wonderful picture though. In fact, I really like it. Truly. And I really did have to take a closer look and search to find these little things that could be considered in the future (I don't like calling them flaws, 'cause that's not exactly what they are). Anyway, hope your art shop goes well. I'm sure it will. I'll think I'll go have a look. [sarcasm]I just know you can't wait for the next time you post a pic for my "awesome" *cough*awful*cough* critique. [/sarcasm] 4laugh Well, Have fun drawing!
