 Carefully Mace picked her way through the bushes, trying her best not to make noise as Toku and Malice showed her, while her father was not far he had told her that she would need to venture on her own for now. To meet her family, the whole family, or at least some of it. All the while she could feel Toku's eyes watching behind her, sure nothing would go wrong, and so she pressed onward, head held high to face what ever it was her father told her to seek.And watch Toku did, he was not quite the most welcome one to the heard, let alone directly into Rot's family, and so he kept a cautious air about him and an ever weary eye on his daughter, Rot and himself still might not get along perfectly, but he knew the older Kalona would never strike one of his own blood.

Things were beginning to quiet down finally. Toku and Malice had bred and there was no removing Toku from their lives. He had resigned himself to that realization the moment he realized his daughter had been pregnant. Perhaps this was their way of seeing that they got their way. If so, he wouldn't hold it against them as having grandbabies made up for it.
He continued patrolling the herd, locked in thought. He hadn't met any of the grandbabies but he was sure that would change in due time. If not, then he would have to force a visit upon Malice and Toku. He wasn't sure Toku would like that much but he was running out of options.

Continuing to make her way, Mace would slowly catch a hint of something big moving around, it sounded strong, or brave, it didn't bother to really hide its movements, the steps seemed to sound like who ever it was knew it was their land and they had nothing to fear. Curious she started to follow after it.
Between the leaves she saw something red, it almost looked like her brother Fachtna. Was this the person Toku said to look for? Not sure, but curious as to who this Kalona was she started to move closer.
Toku meanwhile continued to watch from the shadows moving closer himself, it wouldn't be long now.
