Open to: Conquistador Crew Members Only. The rest of yas can make your own little flashbacks until I refine the battle system a bit with some stats.
Summary: Prior to the crash landing on Centuria, this thread is about all the drama on the Conquistador that happened.
-----------------------------
As Isvara walked into his laboratory, his stomach growled. The hunger pangs were eating up his insides and he was too consumed by his research the entire day that he forgot to eat.
While walking towards his computer, he turned to his side, only to find one of his interns with her head rested on her desk, dozing off...without permission.
"Hey!" Isvara barked at her, "Wake up! I'm hungry!"
His intern remained asleep.
Normally, Isvara sends off Balthazar, his personal robot slave, to do his bidding. However, his intern had been lazying around lately, and he really needed to find a humane way to punish her. Albeit a bit misogynistic with his light reference to women and serving food, he thought he'd kill two birds with one stone and get her to get him some delicious goodness from the kitchen; which was only 11 feet away from his room.
The girl didn't budge.
Isvara nudged her on the shoulder a couple of times, hoping she would finally wake up.

"Try as they may, they can neeeever defyyy, what's been said between your heart and miiiiine!" Evander skipped merrily up a flight of stairs on The Conquistador and heard a familiar voice shouting nearby. He grinned, following the noise.
"Isvaraaa." He stuck his head around the corner to peek into Isvara's laboratory, and, spotting the sleeping girl, shook his head mock disapprovingly. "Is that any way to treat a pretty lady?" Shifting the strap of his sniper rifle, he smiled at his comrade.
Isvara looks good in his shir-NO WAIT. Damnit, I am not gay!

"Oh, wait Evan," retorted Isvara, "is this your intern?"
He stared at the flamboyant sniper's face, who was about to open his mouth.
"That's a rhetorical question," Isvara quickly snapped, "you are not supposed to answer it. And in case you ask, the answer is 'no'."
Isvara resumed his duties, which at the moment was giving his intern some duties.

"Aw, c'mon Issy," Evan said, grinning maniacally while he tried for a cool pose to impress the intern; leaning awkwardly against the doorframe and folding his arms across his chest. He tried to catch the intern's eye.
"I'll give her some, uh...duties for today. Why don't you take it easy...I think your hair's greying." He laughed and tried to push his hair back rakishly, ending up slamming his eyepiece into his face.
"Urrghhh.." Clearing his throat and trying not to show his embarassment, he took it off and started to clean it, uncomfortably aware of the other two watching.

For the third day in a row, Sophie had fallen asleep while on-task. She had not had a well-rested night for the past two weeks only because Isvara, her 'boss' so to speak, decided to have her work over-time researching on dozens and dozens of objects he found interesting.
Her hand loosely held a pen across from her face, laying sweetly on her scattered papers. Feeling the nudging, Sophie gasped and sat upright, looking up to Isvara. How embarrassing. She blushed and bowed her head, "I'm sorry, Sempai, I must have dozed off," she looked across to her papers and began to tidy them. Fortunately, she saved what she had written and transfered it to her computer before falling asleep. Sophie tapped a few keys floating atop the desk and tapped a few others to her side. All the while, Isvara and Evan were 'discussing' who Sophie was working for. "Aw, c'mon Issy," Evan grinned, folded his arms, and leaned against the door-frame, looking a little silly. Sophie turned away quickly, trying not to laugh. "I'll give her some, uh...duties for today. Why don't you take it easy...I think your hair's greying," Evan laughed and accidentally whacked his eyepiece while trying to push his hair back.
Sophie put the back of her right hand over her mouth as she giggled, watching him clean his eyepiece and clearing his throat. She then remembered Isvara was watching, and looked to him a little embarrassed, yet serious, awaiting more tasks.

Slipping his eyepiece back on, Evan looked at the intern, then squinted.
"Sophie! Is that you? I didn't recognise you there," he exclaimed, striding up to her and patting her on the head.
"Okay now Issy, I'm going to be taking Sophie and giving her some chores around the ship now, okay? Okay." Without giving Isvara a chance to answer, Evan grabbed Sophie's hand and tried to pull her towards the door.

"Sophie! Is that you? I didn't recognise you there," Evan walked over to her and pat her on the head.
Sophie looked up at him, slightly blushing, "mm," she nodded.
"Okay now Issy, I'm going to be taking Sophie and giving her some chores around the ship now, okay? Okay," Evan walked over to her, passing Isvara.
"But--" she moved back a little in her chair.
Evan took her hand and and pulled her to the door. Not trying to pull away, she followed him, glancing back at Isvara for a reaction, hoping he would not get too upset.

Ezra slouched up the stairs, being as unobtrusive as possible while wearing steel-toed, steel-heeled boots. Wasn't quite working. They kept making loud metallic clacks against the floor. Then again, she wasn't really trying to hide from anybody, so that was all fun and good.
Cups of coffee so far: two, not counting the one in her hand.
Fashion state: Distressing. She'd lost her herringbone stockings, and her favourite net top was in the wash. This meant that Ezra was wearing slightly less than usual - but that was okay, seeing as the heating had been fixed already.
Hair status: defiant, as usual. At least one thing was going right.
She rumpled her fringe, took a big gulp of coffee. There were noises. That was nice. Maybe some people were awake and active without the help of coffee. She'd stumble over there and see about asking them how they did it, maybe.
Round the corner, and another gulp of coffee. She recognized those voices now; that was Evander's over there, and the researcher Isvara Sharma's. And another. Isvara's intern-slave's voice. What a merry little party. She stopped to take more coffee, casually adjusting her very abbreviated top as she did. She'd have to ask the medics for an adrenaline pill, or something that would wake her up better than caffeine.

"It's okay, Issy'll get over it in a while. He's just jealous I get you and he doesn't," Evan teased Sophie, raising his voice so Isvara could hear him and still tugging at Sophie's hand and leading her out of the room.
"Hm, so what do you want to do now?" he asked Sophie. "Have the rest of the day off. I'll cop the s**t from Isvara, don't worry your pretty little head about it." He relinquished his grip on her and ran on around the corner, determined to sprint in a manly manner so he would impress her. That went to hell as soon as he rounded the corner and bumped into something hard enough to knock them both over, him falling on top of his unfortunate victim. He sighed, clenching his eyes shut, rubbing his head and just lying still. He was still a little dazed, but at least the thing he was lying on was soft. Really, really soft. In fact, according to his awesome manliness, it was as soft as...
He opened his eyes and chanced a look. Okay, there was skin. Check. There was a lump, and he was lying on another. Check. There was minimum amount of clothing covering the skin. Check. Blinking, he grinned and lifted his head slightly, looking straight at Ezra.
"Hey, Ezra. You've got a real comfortable bed here. Mind if I crash one night?"

"Aw, Evan honey, sure. All y'had to do was ask," drawled Ezra, and patted him on the back of his head. "Just lie back an' make yerself comfortable, willya?" She slid up so she was sitting with Evan between her legs, carefully crossed them, then she grabbed a handful of his hair and rubbed his face in her chest hard enough to suffocate him.
"Sorry y'have to see this, Miss Akiyama," she said, glancing up at Sophie, while busily cutting off Evan's air supply. "And ah'd suggest ya don't let Evan sweet-talk ya too much. Regular heartbreaker, this one. Ain't that right?" she cooed, then shoved him off using a handful of his hair. "Ya spilled my coffee, Taylor boy. Ya're going to have to accompany me to get a new one. And ya need a haircut."

"Merfff frhghh hrhg!" Evan objected, trying to pull his head out of Ezra's cleavage. At least if he were to die now, he'd die happy. In a woman's chest with her legs around him; it was every man's dream. Then Ezra pushed him off, and stumbling back, he ruffled his hair sheepishly.
"C-considering our relationship hasn't officially started yet, I-I think that might have been a, uh, a little too, uhh..." He blushed, glancing around to see if Isvara had seen him. N-not that he was checking that Isvara didn't get the wrong idea, i-it was just that he didn't want anybody else seeing him embarrassed. Yeah.
"What's wrong with my hair?" he asked Ezra, pulling at a chunk gingerly. Her grab and yank had really hurt it. He'd probably have to use that special shampoo to treat it now, as well as that conditioner, and maybe that lotion too, just for good measure.
"A new coffee? Anything for a lady!" He bowed, both arms sticking out, before trying to take a step forward and ending up tripping over his overly long pants. He crashed down at Ezra's feet, then scrambled up, brushing his hair back once and maintaining dignified silence like a proper MAN and going towards the kitchen. Before he remembered the kitchen was in the OTHER direction. Aw, ********.

"It's okay, Issy'll get over it in a while. He's just jealous I get you and he doesn't," Evan raised his voice.
He was silly and Sophie found him amusing. She giggled at his silly remark.
"Hm, so what do you want to do now? Have the rest of the day off. I'll cop the s**t from Isvara, don't worry your pretty little head about it," he released her hand.
"I-I thought you--" she started. Just then, Evan dashed off around the corner and fell on top another. Ezra, a cool chick.
Embarrassed for them, Sophie gripped around her right elbow with her left hand, looking around to see if anyone had witnessed the accident.
After stuffing Evan's face in her chest, Ezra looked to Sophie, "sorry y'have to see this, Miss Akiyama."
Sophie shook her head, blushing.
Ezra continued, "and ah'd suggest ya don't let Evan sweet-talk ya too much. Regular heartbreaker, this one. Ain't that right?"
Sophie blushed even more and nodded.
Ezra pushed him off her, "ya spilled my coffee, Taylor boy. Ya're going to have to accompany me to get a new one. And ya need a haircut." Her coffee had spilled over the floor, fortunately not getting on anyone.
"Let me get that," Sophie reached for some old-fashioned paper-towels.

"Y'shouldn't worry about that, the nanobots'll take care o' it. Or somethin'," Ezra said, waving a dismissive hand. Her jewellery jangled, a soft muted sound around the wraps surrounding her forearms. "Ah'm pretty sure we've got nanobots takin' care of th'floors. Isvara'd probably know better than ah would, though, though." She tugged at the paper towels in Sophie's hand. "Come on. Let's go make sure Evan doesn't injure himself while makin' coffee. And y'can get a coffee too, or whatever it is y'want."
She had to keep from smiling at Evan, who was currently doing a dramatic turn in the direction of the kitchen. "Don't tell me ya're lost already, Evan."
Ezra glanced back at Sophie, and now she smiled, which made her face tattoos shift upwards slightly. "What say ya? We'll get ya something to eat, too. Yer too thin." And she patted Sophie gingerly on the shoulder.

"I'm not lost!" protested Evan quickly, leaning towards the wall. "I was just...just brushing some wall off this dirt. I-I mean, some dirt off this wall!" He slapped at the wall, recoiling as a stinging pain shot through his fingers. He opened and closed his fingers experimentally, then shook them out.
"Towards the kitchen, ladies!" he hollered, slinging his gun strap over his head and waving it around. His finger accidentally unhooked the safety catch and accidentally brushed the trigger. A single shot rang out and hit the water sprinkler, and water sprayed over the trio in a torrent. Evander laughed in glee.
"Whoops. Guess cap'n Rac's gonna have to pay for a new water sprinkler," he said nonchalantly, pushing wet hair out of his face and grinning at the two girls. He quickly dropped the grin, laughing weakly.
"Uh...sorry about the hair, ladies..."

Sophie looked back to Isvara. She really should be working, but what the hay, she had been working overtime for him, unwillingly, and it would not bring harm to have a little time off.
"Don't tell me ya're lost already, Evan," Ezra glanced back at Sophie and smiled, "what say ya? We'll get ya something to eat, too. Yer too thin," she patted her on the shoulder.
Sophie smiled, blushing, "OK," she nodded and began to follow Evan.
"Towards the kitchen, ladies!" Evan yelled, and fired an accidental shot at the sprinklers in the process. Sophie screamed. She ducked and covered her ears. Just then, the sprinklers were activated, spraying all three friends.
Before Sophie could be completely drenched, she ran out of the way and stood still, looking down at herself. The droplets just slid down and dripped off her smooth skin.
"Whoops. Guess cap'n Rac's gonna have to pay for a new water sprinkler," Evan grinned. But that slowly changed to a weak smile, "uh...sorry about the hair, ladies..."
Sophie shook her head in embarrassment and looked to the paper-towels. No, there has to be a gadget that would be just right for the job.
