 The light seemed to glint off of the burnt red scales and the blue and gold charm around the stallion's neck. Great red wings were tucked at his sides, showing the black spines that coursed from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. Myrddin was a sight to be feared with the great horns rising from his skull.
But his stomach seemed to twist in knots with hunger. Normally, he wouldn't go so long without food, but he'd been off searching for more of his kind, hopeful that there were more than the mares he'd met. So he was now carefully stalking the area for prey, hoping to catch it by surprise or scare it out of its hiding place. To say the least, he wasn't happy to be reminded of his captive time behind bars because of two-legged meatbags with these recent, painful hunger pains.
And then he caught a whiff of something in the wind, a familiar scent from bloody days. His molten gaze sought out for that great white beast that had stood before him. And then he saw it, a glint off metal. A low growl began to build in his chest as he watched it slowly make its way in his general direction. Vengeance would be his finally.
