One could tell that the boy was very excited. Primped and preened he took great care to put on his best outfit and even went so far to lecture his tentacles to behave themselves. He knew that Duncan wasn't particularly fond of...being touched or hugged. He tolereated it..but he didn't want to raise the boys ire by being bothersome.
Of course his tentacles always had other things on their agenda's...that morning when he had been getting ready they managed to snatch a pair of his mothers underwear from a fresh laundry pile....and Adriel was forced to spend a better part of his morning wrestling the piar out of their grasp.
But even that incident wasn't enough to completely sour his mood. He had a happy smile on his face even if he was a bit nervous...it had been a while since he had seen Duncan he could only hope the red skinned boy felt the same.

Duncan had spent the entire trip from where he lived with his father to where Adriel lived clinging to the man's arm. He felt another strange, new feeling welling up inside of him. Duncan explained it as 'nervous' when one was worried about something.
He didn't know why he was nervous though, all the changes maybe...? What if Adriel didn't like the new him?
June gazed down at his son, eyes showing awe. While his son clung to him tightly his nails weren't digging in. In fact since his latest growth spurt he'd not caused a single new mark on June or anyone or anything else, "We are almost there." He said, motioning.
Duncan's three eyes went a bit wide and a moment later he was dashing forward toward the place. He was nervous but also excited, his stomach felt as if it were full of rampaging butterflies... he wanted to get this over with he thought. His hand lifted up and he started to knock.

Hoping about in the kitchen whilst his mother was making something he rarely got to eat...a cake he suddenly felt a prickling sensation on the back of his neck. Turning his head he blinked a couple times trying to figure out why he felt the strange sensation and then he darted for the front door.
His mother only shook her head as she continued to make icing from scratch. Since she normally didn't allow her son to have sweets she thought this was a proper day to have something special.
Adriel had dashed to the front door skidded on the carpet and nearly collided into the front door if it wasn't for a tentacle of his grabbing onto anything nearby to slow his decent. There was a crash, as a couple books fell off the nearby table. He straightened himself and flung open the door.
"Dun.....!....can?" Adriel cried out and was a bit surprised to not see the familar red skinned boy...but...a paler skinned one with a familar face.
"Duncan?? Is that you?" Adriel gasped trying to not to seem too overhwelmed.

The boy's trio of eyes went wide as he heard a crashing sound behind the door. He stopped closer trying hear what was going on. Sounded like something was getting broken and then suddenly the door was being jerked open to reveal Adriel.
Duncan blinked a couple times at the tone of voice that Adriel was using, he seemed quite surprised but then again he was pretty surprised himself over the changes, "It is." He said, taking a step forward towards the boy, "Am Duncan." He was feeling suddenly a little uncomfortable... normally Adriel was being overly friendly or his tentacles were being all grabby.

Blinking a couple of times it took him a moment to regain his composure. He noticed Duncan had grown taller, his horns were gone as well most of his red skin. Another couple of blinks and it seemed liked it finally clicked that yes this was Duncan, despite all the changes.
It didn't take long for Adriel's tentacles to reached forward, grab hold of Duncan and then pull him back to Adriel and smash them together in a bear hug. Adriel stiffened mostly cause he knew Duncan wasn't fond of touching,
"Ah..um...I ..I'm sorry Dun..can...i know...you...do..n't li..ke....I tried...to ma..make...them behave..." He stuttered though Duncan's outside appearance had changed he expected the wrath boy to react the same way.
Jayoku then walked up to the front door to see what all the noise had been, picking up the fallen books and trying to straighten up most she could she smiled and then also stared at Duncan. He ....looked so different...catching her offgaurd she didn't notice she was staring until she noted that June was also there.
"Ah...yes welcome back to our home." SHe quickly recovered giving a warm smile.

Duncan let his eyes sink closed when the tentacles wrapped around him, not because of anger but due to the fact that he was feeling it for the first time. His anger was getting in the way, he didn't feel the urge to knock Adriel away, instead he did what came first to his mind as being 'normal'... he lifted a hand first to run it over one of the tentacles, inspecting it a moment. Why had they made him so mad before? They were just being friendly...
He let out a breath he'd been holding then leaned his forehead against that of his friend and wrapped his arms around Adriel tightly.
June blinked a couple times, taking a step forward as if he were afraid that Duncan was going to take a bite out of the other boy... then came to a halt when he realized he was just hugging him, "Wow..." He breathed, shaking his head before turning to look over at Jayoku, "Hello." He greeted the woman.
He felt... exhausted, the new and much happier Duncan was keeping him on his toes. He worried that at any moment he would return to his old, grouchy, temperamental self.

He hadn't expected it...not in the least...out of all the reactions he could of gotten from Duncan...having him touch his tentacles gently...and then wrap his arms around him....ina hug no less...well he was a bit baffeled. He had to wonder what happened to Duncan exactly...to make him change so much.
Though his tentacles were holding onto Duncan tightly, he wrapped his own arms around Duncan as well. Gently and he leaned his head on his friends shoulder. This was nice... He felt a strange sensation in his forhead...a sort of prickling feeling...but his thought was interrupted as his mother spoke.
Jayoku stared as Duncan gave Adriel a hug, she coughed a bit wondering what...exactly changed the boy so drastically. She would have to interrigate June when they were alone.
"Uh yes...Hello again...good to see you both. Now now come inside where there is treats." She encouraged tapping the boys on the shoulder. Though still a bti hesitant to tap Duncan despite him acting all sorts of different.
Adriel looked up and frowned a bit. He finally got to give his friend a hug that wasn't rejected and now his mother had to cut it short. Always like parents to ruin things.
"Yes duncan! Lets go play in my room!" He said eagerly, only to happy to actualy get to play with his friend.

Duncan took a couple of quick steps back when he realized that he was cuddling Adriel in front of their parents. He felt his face flush as he was flooded by all sorts of confusing feelings. He looked over at the other boy when he invited him to go play and he nodded rapidly, "Ok." He agreed, all for getting out from under the gaze of their parents. They both had the same strange looks on their faces, they might not think he was going to remain calm but he knew he would, the man at the lab assured him as much so long as their contract held.
Duncan had been enjoying the calm and all of the feelings he was able to express and enjoy, he wasn't going to go back on their bargain. Ever. Why should he when he was happy, something he couldn't even fathom before.
June watched as Adriel led his son off before giving a bit of a sighing sound, glancing over at Jayoku. He would like nothing more then to go inside and indulge in whatever she'd made for snacks today and just sit.
"Kids, huh? They can be quite confusing." He said as he stepped inside after making sure his boots were free of any dirt. He didn't want to track any inside her nice house.

Adriel had taken Duncan's hand and lead him to his room. The colors of his room were similar to his own colors. Though they were blue and white it seemed to match his own coloring perfectly. HIs room was....attempted to be neat in tidy. One could see the various spots around the room where the tentacles had done some damage, clothes all over the floor near the dresser but his bed was neatly made.
He turned giving Ducan a wavering smile his nervousness flooding back into him as they entered his room. all sorts of worries and thoughts crashed upon him. Would Duncan think his room too girly? Too messy? Despite really liking the boy he hadn't had a lot of time with him.
"U...h...wh..what do you want to play?" he asked shyly as his tentacles stroked Duncan's arm eager for more attention.
Jayoku watched as the pair ran off still looking a bit bewildered. SHe looked back to June and obvious 'what the?' expression on her face. She kept her voice low as she ushered him inside and closed the door behind him. "What happened to your son? He looks...uh...acts so different." She asked feeling rather rude about it...

Duncan looked around the room, taking it all in. The colors seemed rather calming he thought to himself, letting his trio of eyes close for a moment, "Umm... play..." He murmured, eyes opening. He looked a little unsure, after all he'd never gotten to really play and have fun before now how he? He'd spent to much time isolating himself aside from a few rare occasions when he went out and about to meet up with others.
"Not sure. Ideas?" He asked of Adriel, lifting a hand to pat the tentacle that was stroking his arm. Odd, he'd always thought so badly of the limbs and felt a little guilty for that now.
June met Jayoku's gaze, starring for a long moment before giving a sigh and a shrug, "I don't know." He admitted, "We went to the labs, to see if they could help us out with his rage problem. It was getting worse and worse, I was afraid he'd hurt someone and I know he felt the same..."
He gave a shake of his head, "He met with an important man in the company and a couple days later he wakes up looking and acting like that."

Adriel gave a small blush as he watched Duncan pet his tentacle. He wondered what exactly had happened to his friend. Not only did he look so different he acted different too. he was worried about him.
"Uh we could play a board game...I don't have to many cause most of the pieces end up going missing." He blamed his tentacles on that.
"Um...Duncan...what happened? You look like someone dipped you in bleach." He said feeling very rude. But he couldn't help but ask...his friend..had gone through some amazing changes. It was awe inspiring but frightening at the same time. He winced a moment feeling the strange prickling sensation in his forhead again.
Jayoku nodded her head slowly....an important man? SHe wondered idly just who this important man was suppose to be.
"Did you see what he did? Who was he? You say important but in what way?" SHe felt like she may have to take Adriel to see this man. If he was able to change Duncan so much frmo one meeting maybe he could help her son.

Duncan looked down at his hands, at the pale and human like skin tone that he had shifted to. He lifted his gaze to look at the other boy before giving him a bit of a shrug, "Just got some help. Anger is... taken care of." He said when he figured out the words he needed.
He met Adriel's gaze and felt worry in the pit of his stomach, Adriel... didn't like the changes? Why... they could talk now, he didn't feel the same rage or desire to hurt him, he was happy and content... Adriel was supposed to like him like this.
He drew his hand back away from the other boy, an unsure look showing in his three eyes.
June shook his head, lifting a hand to push his hair back from his face, "I... didn't. I was asked to step out of the room so they could talk. Duncan said it was alright and... I wasn't gone for more then a few minutes." He shouldn't have left his son alone but the man had helped him... he couldn't be that bad, could he?

Pausing the slim boy looked at Duncan over, he was no longer angry? He wondered if he could stop suddenly feeling a emotion but his attention was drawn back to Duncan as he drew his hand hack. Taking a step forward a bit more bold since he had been informed that he was...no longer going to beserk if he tried to hold him.
"I am just surprised is all. You look really different." Came his voice which cracked a bit as he closed his eyes at the weird feeling growing in the pit of his stomach, it made him feel hot....and sweaty...not to mention a bit ill. His fingers rose to touch the tender narrow slits that were on his forehead. As of late they had really started to bother him.
He suddenly felt his appendages reach forward to grab Duncan by both arms and pull him a bit roughly towards himself.. finding himself pressed against the other boy Adriel felt his face get unbearable hot from his blush.
"Ah...ah..n...nnnn sorry...It llooks like...I...havn't..ch..changed." he spoke his body trembling his hand weakly trying to get his limbs to let go. Though they held on stead fast and there was no way for him to pry them off.
Jayoku looked a bit surprised...she leaned back in her chair thoughtfully noticing the boys had gone off and she hadn't heard a peep out of them since. Whatever it was...it must of been a good thing...usually Adriel would be crying by now.
"Well...I wonder if he could help Addy..he has no control over those limbs of his.." She murmured her tone betraying her annoyance.

Duncan lifted his three eyes to gaze at the spot on Adriel's forehead where the boy was rubbing, looking as though the slits there were bothering him. Duncan found himself starring at them, wondering why he'd never noticed them there before... He gave a little grunt of surprise when the two of them were yanked together suddenly, quickly by the always friendly tentacles.
He found himself much closer and as such had a better view of Adriel's forehead. He blinked a couple times and then without thinking lifted his head to press a kiss to the slits. If they were bothering Adriel then kissing them would make them better right? He'd seen it done before when he was watching other people. It seemed to be something that mother's did for their little ones more often then anyone.
"Maybe." Though he still wasn't sure how much he trusted the guy, it was said clearly in the man's expression. While he'd helped Duncan there was just something about him that rubbed June the wrong way.

Adriel's body stiffened as Duncan's lips pressed against the slits on his forhead. He seemed transfixed mostly because the soft gesture was not expected as well that sinking in sensation in the pit of his stomach seemed to sharpen. Against his will he felt his body start to quiver, the trembling seemed to originate from his core.
He seemed unable to breath, as if his lungs refused to function and draw breath, he felt his head spin from a combination of throbbing pain in his forehead as well lack of air. Feeling his body pressed against the other boys he gave a mewling sound in the back of his throat. As if he knew he was going to do something he would regret... .
"D...d.u..n..c..can.." Voice quaking the adolescent boy raised his trembling hands to push Duncan away although his limbs wouldn't allow it as they released only to wrap around Duncan instead. Now being crushed chest to chest Ariel looked terrified. He closed his eyes as if hoping that by blocking out the sight of Duncan the strange feelings would go away.
"i...I...sorry.." he managed to peep out before he wrapped his arms around Duncan and well he pressed his lips to the other boys. It was as if he had no control of his body.
