Between the cove and the beach where she would meet Crosscurrent is where Dancer looked about for a home. It took most of the day to find just what she thought was good enough. Keeping in mind that DewPaw would most likely want to be with her Dancer wanted a large space. It was found in the cliff side and might be a bit closer to the beach then the cove. It was a crevasse just big enough for her to fit through that went in a bit before opening up to a large open area. On a far wall was a small stream of water. It trickled over the rocky surface and made the floor a mess. Light was hard pressed to find its way in here but if she could gather some things and hunt down a few animals light wouldn't be a problem. In time Dancer would make a rut for the water to follow but for now she worked at evicting bugs, getting light in here and cleaning it up for her and DewPaw to share.

While dancer worked on her cave home, when she wasn't playing or learning with Crosscurrent or with the group getting to know everyone, she would send to the others whom she hasn't seen in a while. One she knew she could learn much from was Savith. The thought of flying did to Dancers mind what the thought of living underwater did. Though he was unwilling last time she spoke to him to speak of it, that would never stop Dancer from asking again until he finally broke down and shared with her or flipped out and forbid her from asking again. So she bit her lip and let her mind reach out to his softly. **Good day to you Savith. I hope I am not bothering you. I am working on digging a rut in my new home and thought it would go faster if I bothered someone.** She laughed playfully and the sound filled his head like a song.

**You are rarely a bother, hatchling,** came Savith's reply. The feel of it was a touch lazy mixed with a restless that was hard to explain and certainly not familiar in the glider's mind-voice. **Digging, hmm? Is it something that you require assistance with,** he asked, the feel of it almost edging on eager.

Dancer chuckled softly in her send. **I am making a pathway for the water that runs down the back wall of the place I will call my home. If you care to get dirty you may help. If not or if you're busy you may stay where you are.** Boy did he seem to be in an agreeable mood. That made Dancer happy. Maybe she would get some answers today.

Whether he was or he wasn't, Savith's reply was immediate, **I Fly-** and just as quickly, it is cut short and his mind yanked away from the closeness of locksend.
Long moments passed before a shadow fell over the entrance of the cave as Savith flew about in the area he sensed the send coming from, but unable to find the right one, the glider was a touch lost. ninja

**I'm in here** Came a laughing little send. The opening was tight but all he had to do was duck and he could make it through. The cave was dark inside but some light made it in. She was kneeling on the ground with a pointed rock by the back of the cave. The ground was soft where she was and so Dancer was muddy. Her long lovely hair a straggled mess and looking nothing like her normal beautiful self. "Welcome to my home Savith." She couldn't help but laugh.

Savith squeezed in and paused at the entrance to let his eyes adjust. If it were colder, if the air didn't have the bite of sea salt, and if it were less muddy... Savith tried to grin, but the expression hardly touched his lips, to say nothing of his eyes. He nodded and floated over, pulling his hair back away from his face into loose but orderly sections and twisting them about themselves. (He's putting his hair into a french braid.)
"What need I do," he asked in a flat tone of voice, all business. neutral

Dancer looked at Savith all dressed in his fancy outfit. "Are you going to get that all muddy and a mess?" She shrugged pulling muddy hair from her face. "I need a rut from here to the opening so the water goes out the cave instead of making the floor mud."

Savith glanced down at his uniform, beaten as it was, and finished braiding his hair back. "Do you suggest I do this naked," he asks seriously.

"My outfit is grass, leaves and such. I can discard them and get more. I just thought yours might be hard to clean where flesh is easily washed. Do as you like though, wear it or don't. It is up to you." She put her mouth under the trickle and took a drink then went back to work. Leaving Savith to work however he felt was best. "When I redirect this water and place a few rocks around the splash area it will pool and be a wash area or drink fountain right in my den. I'm sure when DewPaw gets back to us in time she will enjoy this place as a den." Dancer sweat as she worked but didn't complain. A heaving breath from time to time but that was all and when she thought it was a long enough wait she spoke again. "Savith, how do you think things are going thus far with everyone?" Was that the same question she started with before when she wanted to know of his past? Dancer wasn't sure and hoped Savith wouldn't notice she was just doing plight conversation till she got to the point of what she wanted.

Savith get in to work, settling down to his knees by the pool and beginning to dig. Clearly, the thought of having a dirty uniform didn't phase him. As he worked, he pondered the question.
"Fair, I suppose," he replied, eyes on the mud between his hands. "Like yourself, I would think, settling in making themselves comfortable."

Dancer looked around the cave a bit and found another sort of pointed rock. "If you want you can use this." She set the rock down near him and got back to work. In truth Dancer liked his company. Even though he was often quiet and a bit on the stuffy side Savith was the first to interact with her after the world fell apart. He has always treated her with kindness and patience. It made her often think of her Father. Still his stuffy let's get to work side made her Mother come to mind. Funny how one male could be both Father and Mother in her eyes. "That's good, I don't know what the weather will be like here but I want some place to go if it get's cold, to hot or whatever." She laughed softly flicking muddy hair again. "It must have been your hearts delight to find your Mother once again. I know it would have been mine." There her words trailed off a bit. She wounded herself without knowing it would still sting so much.

Savith glanced up as Dancer set the rock at his side and he nodded and murmured his thanks. In truth, Savith just wanted to keep busy hoping it'd keep his mind otherwise occupied. He hmmmed softly in wordless reply to Dancer's comment about his Mother. His hand picked up the pointed rock and he grounded it down roughly against a stubborn bit of soil, frowning as he did so. His chin dipped down in a motion that would normally have shifted his curls to fall in front of his face, but with it twisted back on itself, his face remained visible. While he frowned, his eyes narrowed dangerously.

Dancer stopped working for a few moments and watched Savith. He was thinking about something that made him upset or angry and it showed all over him. "I find hard work sometimes to be very helpful in getting out anger. How about you?"

Savith closed his eyes a moment, fighting his emotions into check, but the muscles at his jaw as he ground his back teeth was still visible. "Not really," he grumbled, then opened his eyes and seemed to calmly go back to work. At least, his motions weren't as harsh and destructive. Nor was his face overly angry. Instead, his teeth were clenched together and his lips were still pulled down at the corners. "Is there a particular depth you want this pool cut to", he asked in a dull monotone while his hands still worked. And he frowned again, unable to keep himself from that deep-seeded self-loathing at not being able to fashion this pool the little river, widen this cave, put in shelves and a bed nook and a proper doorway and panes of rock-face so sheer and thin so as to be translucent... all with a thought and the brush of fingertips. High Ones did he hate not being a rock-shaper, and he took it out on the mud as he found another stubborn bit of dirt. a bit of the wet paste splatted from the impact sight.
