You must beat the game 4 times before she wears lingerie in the game.

You can also find the machine gun for eileen in the building world once you unlock it by getting a 9 star rating. Look in room 102.

If you beat the game once, you can unlock "a brand new fear" mode. Enter that mode and when you go to the apartment world, check in room 303 for the Nurse Outfit for Eileen.

When you finish the game once, go to Forest World 1st time, and look at the stump by the car. There should be a chainsaw there. It is really weak compared to the one from Silent Hill 2 though.

It's either the 1st or second time you finish the Water Prison world, but you will eventually be able to look out of Henry's bedroom window and see andrew's head floating up and down the window. *requires some patience*

Beat the game with nearly 100 perfect score, and you unlock one weapon mode. If you beat the game on one weapon mode, you unlock full weapon mode.

In the scene where you first arrive at the hospital, you notice Walter is cutting someone open. Examine the body carefully and you will see it is Claudia.

Once you beat building world 1st time, return there the 2nd time later in the game and when running down the alley you ran down before at the beginning of building world 1st time, you will notice those crazy apemen monsters jumping from roof to roof.

A neat trick some people don't know is when the little icons appear on the loading screens, you can move those with the left analog stick and make them bigger or smaller with the right.

Also, while talking to Jasper in the cutscene where he burns himself.... he mentions he saw "the devil". Do not get this confused with Pyramid Head. Pyramid Head is nicknamed "The Red Devil". The Devil jasper is refering to is the one you see at the end of the game during the Walter battle.

yea everyone is allowed to post info here. As for the doll.... your right.... and your wrong..... she is right when she says DONT TAKE THE DOLL! If you dont take the doll, your house will not experience hauntings nearly as early. *meaning your house wont be haunted until a lot later in the game than if you DID take the doll* also, you can exercise the baby haunting with a saint medallion or holy candle *not scented candles, just warning some of you*.
and dont feel bad..... I made this mistake 3 times before i learned the truth behind the doll.

I want to get the submachine gun for Eileen as well. I don't play enough...
The one roadblock I hit every time when trying to play fast is the Water Prison World puzzle. I hate it.

Water Prison world can be tricky, but I made sure the 3rd time I went through the game to write down the combo to everything in the water prison world, so that way when I actually got to it I could rip right through the level.

As of right now, I've unlocked everything, beat all the endings, and beaten the unlocked modes. I literally have nothing new to gain from silent hill 4, YET FOR SOME REASON i CAN'T PUSH IT AWAY!! O.O

I think the game itself is actually trying to trap me in my own room from every leaving by continuously playing over and over.

actually its kinda funny..... i have a hole in my wall right next to my computer.... it just has some water pipes in it, but i still find it kinda funny xd
