On this faithful Noelany was quite close to home. Well, actually, she was at home. She lied at the furthest end of the lake that she grew up by. He thoughts seemed to take her this particular day. She didn't have many friends, but that wasn't what was on her mind. What was on her mind was of the one other friend, besides Tori, that she had. She seemed to think about him a lot, but thought it was just normal. Others think about their friends, right? Either way, she knew in the back of her mind that she felt more towards him. But she'd surely never admit it. . . And especially the the dumb Ulaya that was Axident. Why would she anyhow? She saw now use in saying anything. Why? Well, lets just say she didn't want to look very nice to anyone really. Even if she was kinda nice to Axi. But I suppose that was just something that couldn't be helped. But whatever happened, she'd always have something that would remind her of him. Noelany sat up, letting her wings spread wide. A pearl fell to her paw. It was something he had found, and let her keep. She always kept it with her. She stared at it. She really didn't know what to think anymore. And would of course never ask anyone about. Or talk about it. It just wasn't her. But maybe there was someone who could get it out of her. Maybe someone like a mother?

Noelani found herself, like any other day, taking a stroll around the lake. To keep herself from having thoughts of roaming away for long periods of time she told herself that she has to walk around the lake a few times each day. Heh it turned out to be more of a daily workout procedure then something to prevent her from leaving. But she didn't mind. She found that the walks cleared her mind of any troubles that she had. Sometimes she even talked to herself while walking to work out the problems.
Anyway, during one of her walks she spotted something in the distance. It was an ulaya that she didnt remember being there before. Upon walking closer she found it was Noelany. "Oh Noelany, what a troubled kit you are." she said to herself. Though something looked off as she grew closer. Was Noelany actually in deep thought? Who knew that she wouldn't be thinking about grudges with others and actually thinking about something different. Or atleast that's what Noelani thought her daughter always thought about.
"Noelany hunny!" Noelani cheered as she ran towards her daughter. "Why are you way over here by yourself?" she questioned as she sat herself down. "Is something the matter?"

Noelany could hear foot steps in the distance. Though, she didn't bother to look to see who it was. She knew it had to be either her father or mother. Odds were, it was her mother. Seeing as her father didn't roam around water much. She let out a sigh and waited for her mother to reach her. She didn't talk to her mother much, but that was neither her fault or her mothers. She just didn't talk to a lot of people, just how she was.
She continued to mess around with her pearl, and wait until she heard her mothers voice. Hearing her mothers voice, she let out a sigh. She didn't really want much interaction with anyone now. But I suppose she shouldn't have expected any less, she was where her parents lived. And of course, she wouldn't tell her mother what was on her mind. So, of course she would lie to her mother.
"Nothing wrong mother, just enjoying the view." Quite the lie that was.

"Is that a sigh I hear? First step on making others think nothing's wrong is definitely not letting out a sigh." Noelani plainly said. Hearing her daughter speak she confirmed something was bugging her. "Now I know that's not true." If anyone should know a lie when they see one it's Noelani. Especially one being told by her daughter. Even though she doesn't know her as well as Kashoku she knows her enough to be able to figure out that somethings wrong.
"Now now. I know something's bothering you." She stated as she started to stare at Noelany. "Oh and if you were just enjoying the view, there'd be more of looking at the view then there currently is. So go on. Let me know what's wrong." Noelani was very well prepared to drag it out of her daughter if needed. She knew from experience that alot of things that bring you down or just worry yourself over you need to talk out. She was just hoping she would be able to help Noelany in her problem.

Noelany of course didn't sigh about her problem, but rather the coming of company. She wasn't much of a sensitive talker, but more of a taunter. So it might take a while for someone to get to her problems. Maybe her father could get to her faster then anyone, but that wasn't who came around. Her mother did, and Noelany was certain that her mother would have to take a while to get to her. She just didn't know her mother very well, so she surely wouldn't open up to her in a minute. Unless her mother was going to be very persuasive, then maybe.
She just rolled her eyes at her mother, and continued to mess with the pearl under her paw. No one said Noelany was a good liar, and apparently her mother saw that. But she was definitely a hard shell to crack. And she was sure her mother knew that too. Who wouldn't know that about her? But who knew where this was going to go.
"Nothing."

Noelani let out a very light laugh. "Oh you know that it's not nothing. The combination of saying nothing and being by yourself fiddling practically gives ones self away." Eventually noticing the pearl her daughter was playing with she started up again. "That's a lovely pearl Noelany. Where did you get it from?" She tilted her head as she looked down at it. It really was an adorable little pearl she wont deny that. Hoping that maybe she can approach this situation differently she wanted to focus on the pearl for a bit if Noelany allowed it.
She figured someone gave it to her mainly since she doesn't remember Noelany being much of a treasure hunter. Though she doesn't know her daughter as well as she should so nothing would surprise her at this point. If Noelany didn't say where it came from she'd probably just ask Kashoku later if he knew about it.

Noelany still wasn't very fond of her mother. She hadn't spent much time with her, but I suppose that couldn't be helped. But that only seemed to make the girl ignore her mother. Which wasn't very nice. Then again, she wasn't... Hearing her mother notice her pearl, she paused for a second. She didn't really wanted that to happen. Now she only knew she'd just ask more questions. Rolling her eyes, she picked up the pearl and stuck it back where she always kept it. Stuck in the feathers of her wings.
Noelany knew her mother wanted to get something out of her, but she wasn't sure she wanted to share anything. And even if she did want to, which would be quite surprising, she'd probably be very vague. Giving her mother another glance over, she had a sudden urge to say something. Which was odd, as she didn't feel like ever saying much to her. But it was quite odd feeling. Looking over at her one last time, she lie on the ground, with her head on her paws, looking out at the lake.
"A friend.." She said, answering where she got it from.
