I know people are saying that the Katara commercial was Kataang, but really, I still see it as the same old thing, I just see that line as saying, I had no idea he was going to fall in love with me. Not that THEY would fall in love with EACH OTHER. She did say "How close HE would become" ... Not "how close WE would become." I actually analyzed it all to heck in my DA journal, if you want to read that. I'm really not that concerned ^^

I definitely think she said how close we would become, not how close he would become. We makes more sense than we. But it could mean any number of things. Katara has stuck by Aang and they have become close and they may have thrown that clip in at that moment to throw us off. Is there a Zuko commercial? That one would be interesting to see. Out of all the characters, he has done the most growing.

It sounds more like she says 'We'. As Malee said, a Zuko commercial would be really interesting.

all very good points biggrin I don't think there's a zuko commercial yet, but it seems like they're doing trailers from each character's POV so maybe they will.

I can't tell if she says 'he' or 'we', but either way I'm not overly concerned. "I never imagined how close we would become" does not automatically mean love. If anything, she could be referring to the fact that he's like a second brother now, maybe that it feels like she's spent her whole life with him, even though they met less than a year ago.
Plus, in the first trailer, it plays the "I'm so proud of you" clip, which, really, is about as motherly/sisterly as it gets. :/ In my opinion, anyway.
Besides, we still have fanon, right?

Even a Kataanger ADMITTED that Katara said "But I had no idea how close He'd become." Guess what? He got a negative on his comment. rolleyes Do most Kataang's not know grammer? "He'd"= "He would," Even my comment has negative 3. It's funny how riled up this people (Kataang's) become to an opinion that doesn't even really attempt to bash their ship.
[Mock tone]
"Oh no! Someone is dissing Kataang! But, it's alright, I'll just shun their realistic view point and and happily go back to my perfect, pink cover coated Kataang loving world!" *FLAME!*
My comment said later: You can believe what you like, and I'll believe what I like. I can honestly care less. And my comment up there has negative 3? Wow, people take things way to seriously. Ah, good old predictablility, how I love it.

But, obviously, several others didn't. xD
I can't help but think it's ironic that there's a shipping war for a show that has acceptance and unity as two of its main themes. Seriously. D:
I think I could survive a Kataang ending, though. I wouldn't like it, but I could handle it. Zutara would be better, though. Epic romance, anyone?

Ahhh... you guys... who cares about that stuff? >> What I noticed is that they played the kiss scene backwards without Katara's expression at the end. Fishy or what?

It's just funny how much wank they can still pull off/throw our way when, supposedly they "know" how everything will happen. Everyone assumes that it has to be; Spoiler Highlights for Finale and the horrid book, which Thank God that it's almost driven from my memory. The Agni Kai of Zuko and Azula, and she shoots the lighting at Katara, and not Zuko. She shoots to her right, which is Zuko's left. And since the comet powers up all fire type (lighting) bending, Katara, herself, could've been knocked to the ground from the force of the blow. And it DOES cut off a LITTLE quick, right? Hmm, I wonder why?

Whoa. o.O That's weird. I can't think of why they would do that, since, you know, it's already been aired on TV. There's no surprise to it anymore. :/
