I think I screwed up my relationship with a truly great women because she is always sick of me trying to impress her with lies. I am just so afraid that if she finds me boring and plane she will just up and leave me so I always try WAY to hard to impress her and lie, not big lies, but they just all added up.
I know I have to change my habit if I can ever win her back, but I would really like some help from other people and there relationships. Has anyone else gone through this before? Both sides, please... :3

I used to hate myself, so I always tried to present myself as this ideal, imaginary version of me. But then again even if people like me because of that, they don't like the "real" me... If you understand what I mean. So there's no point in doing that actually, and I think you posted this because you started feeling that way. (not trying to be a smart-a** here, just telling you how I was back then)
If your conscience is haunting you because of the piled up lies, I think it's now time to take the chance and come clean and say to her "look, this is what I've been doing but I do this because I'm just so afraid you'd find me boring and plain and just leave".
I think the risk is worth it since you think it's screwed up already. Plus, don't you feel burdened coz you have to be someone else and lie to the person you care about?
Besides, I know I'd appreciate honesty like that in my relationship, and I think it's rather touching to have a guy who will do things like that because he thinks I'm great. But people differ and this is just an opinion from me smile You should be with people who you feel you can show all sides of you to. Not just love, but friendships as well -- at least my life's now better and I feel more honest and at ease.
Hope this can contribute something to your pondering... Good luck! And if you need someone to talk to, I'm still in my holidays, alone overseas, with nothing to do! xp
