Hi! Learn all about Greek Mythology here! I'll post stories/legends, events, facts, and more all about greek mythology, since I love it so much!
Anyone have some requests on what I should do, first?
First one to vote (In posts, not poll.) get's what they want!
Disney's movie of hercules lied- What's true/not true in it about hercules-
Greek mythological monsters-
Kronos puked his children- The story of how the gods overcame the titan king, kronos.
How Athena, the goddess of wisdom has children/is born. - (This is not graphic or innapropriate.)
The Story of Hercules- (How he became famous- the whole story of his short, mortal life.)- *Very interesting.*

. Hercules supposedly met Megara and fell in love with her- She was a stranger that he thought was pretty, so decided to fall in love with, etc.
Nope. Not true, really. He's his stepsister, the daughter of King Amphitryon. He killed her when he Drank, along with his mother and his many yearly children that he had had with Megara.
Note: He was told and made to promise that he'd never drink Strong Drink..... (Don't drink. -_-.) by his sports director/teacher, Chiron, an immortal Centuar.

Well, I'm not sure on/about all of the specific details, but this is about....
Athena and her Children's Birth (Not gross.... Just.... Weird.)
So, apparently, someone hit Athena's father on the head with something.... Maybe a hammer, nail, etc.
But then, the birth of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom occured.
The headache in her father's head began to sprout a child.... Athena.
Yeah, so, when Athena has kids, she doesn't get that pain. Oh, lucky her.

sweet ^_^ i love this stuff, i could teach along with you, i know all the greek mythology by heart, i studied different forms of each ledgend in alot of books, i took a class on it and got best student too biggrin
if you dont mind my i put up one of my fav. stories here? its one of the best....if you dont mind, but i wont just post it without your permision...that would be rude..... burning_eyes

I for one love greek mythology, but there is one thing in particular i am curious about that I've been dieing to know.
Whats the story on Aeries, Goddess of love?
