White wings spanned out wider as she came down for a landing, her front hooves touching the ground gracefully with her hind following shortly. Bi-colored eyes were shut as she did this, collecting the thoughts that seemed to haunt her head everyday when she flew.
But it didn't matter - there was no going back. She was on her own now, and there was simply nohing she could do to return to happier days... If one were to call them that. As a filly she had never pranced and sang. The other foals had attempted to play with her, but she was never interested. After a couple of rejections, they had learned she was not going to play with them. She had ostracized herself from possible friends. Socializing was never high on her list of priorities. Eirene roughly shook her head, her eyes fluttering open. 'You're such a silly fool.' She thought, tired of how her thoughts always followed the same route after a while - but it was hard to give up on the things that had a hand in how she lived now. Looking towards the sky. the dusty blue mare analyzed the weather. There was a light breeze, and clouds in the distance. Still decent weather for flying.
