Name: Conall Gender: Male Age: Adult Rank: (will be)Alpha Peronality: Conall allways seems to be distant, allways thinking of something or other. A part of him still runs with his old pack, but he refuses to speak of them. The resons he left, he'll never tell, but he has brought that bond of brother hood with him. He will defend his packmates to the death if needed, but most of the time he approaches things with a level and refined manner. In the end, he is a wolf, and never claims day or night, rather twilight. A thin line between what he came from, and where he want's to be. Still, he know that neither is made for him, so he seems to have made this his own. Likes: quiet, pack singing, the closeness of his brothers, and pack Dislikes: badlytimed foolishness, disrespect, talking about his lack of a tail. Font style: Gray, size ten

Conall lifted his head, looking up in silence at the night sky. It had been five days since they had left the pack, nightmarish ways still fresh in his mind. He could not have stayed. The wind called him elsewhere, and the earth pulled under his feet. He had not been meant for this place, it was something that he had never forgotten. He did not remember his original pack, of course. The shadows had been the only thing he had ever known--but some thing that he did not remember was still in him. They had never quite taken it. Part of him wanted to sing his song to the sky, and let it so loud that it should shake the stars. But part of him feared his old brothers, and what they would do if he were ever found. He looked to the forest around him taking in the sights and smells. So much different from the place he had called home. "Xihu," he called in an ever gruff voice. "What do you think of this place?" he asked. Seeming to know something in an answer.

Star and moons covered the males fur as he stepped next to his brother Conall. "It's different" he said quietly "More alive than what we called home for so long". His words were short, he had followed his brother from the only home he has ever known and never asked any questions as to why his brother left. Xihuitl knew why he left, but that wasn't for him to stay, he still felt a slight connection to his other brothers but could no longer taking in thier ways as his own. Conall was his closest brother and where ever he was, was his true home. The young male would never question his brothers word, for he trusted him over anyone or thing.

Conall gave a gruff laugh, his lips curling into a wolfish smile. He wondered how many times he had been cuffed as a pup for that.. It had been something that they had never been able to train out of him. "You could say that." he said after a moment. There was no doubt that Xihu was just barely younger than himself, matter of weeks, if not days. Still, he had allways thought of his brother as younger, and most times sought to make him think and wonder as he was now. The black wolf took in a deep breath, his teal eyes closed as he shrugged the mask off of his face. He wondered how many times he had been cuffed for that too. His tail would have thumped in a pleased manner as he breathed this fresh air if he'd had one "There certainly is a difference between this place and.." Well, he wasn't quite sure what to call that place where they had come from. It certainly was not home any longer. He stood and shook the dust from his fur, as if it would help to clear his mind.

((uhhh...he doesn't have tailO.O))
Xihuitl smirked at his brother and looked up at the moon, it still amazed him at night. Even though is own fur was an exact representation of the night sky he was still so drawn to it. "It was definatly not as alive as this place is" He said and pushed the hood off his ears letting his ful face show in the early hours of the day. "Brother, what are we going to do?" He asked, not srue what his brother's plan was for them.

((:XP he'd kill me for that... i edited. not much tho.))
Conall thought for a long moment. The cool night air calmed his mind and he turned his teal eyes to his starry brother. "We will be wolves." he said in a plain manner. He sat again, his posture slightly different than that of a normal wolf. With no tail he seemed to sit slightly foreward, having no extra bone to steady himself. His wolfish smile returned. "I can't claim to have a plan for us Xihu, but we did not belong there. I know that."The smile streched to a yawn. "We will be wolves, not what.. they had wanted us to be." He shook himself again as a pest of a mosquito buzzed in his ear. "..certainly more alive.. not allways the best thing.." he grumbled as he snapped at the bug as it hovered in the air.

Xihuitl nodded and laied down keeping an eye on the sky as he took in the night air. "No more blood, or killing for pleasure" he said and perked his ears up. "We could start our own group or misfits." the though wized past his min "Wolves that have no where to go and want so much to be a part of something more". Xihuitl still wanted a family and a pack to call home, even though it seemed so far from what they might have.

Conall thought for a moment. "You might just have something there." he said in a serious tone. "The two of us, we can keep going like this if we have to. I have no doubts about that... but.." his expression changed from his serious thought to that old wolfy grin. "Well let's cross those streams when we come to them." He stood, touching his brother's neck lightly. "Come. I don't know about you, but I am beginning to get hungery." The wolf sniffed the air, taking in the scents of prey but waiting for his brother's response before moving.

The blue male stood and pulled his hood back up over his head "Very well brother lead the way" He said sniffing the large prey too. He was indeed glade that he had come with Conall, it was true he would miss his other brothers but soon they would fade from his mind. The ways of lving wouldn't, he would still not mate or not love the taste of blood on his tounge. But he would make them fade.

Conall trotted foreward, feeling the slight stiffness in his brother's movements. "Something trobles you Xihu?" he asked as he moved. A small group of roe deer was close. The scent put a shiver down his back at the thought of the hunt. He had allways liked to hunt the bucks most of all. They were a worthy thing to hunt, and whoever won, himself or the buck, he allways left with a certain satisfaction. Even in their old pack, that sort of hunt had felt right. It felt like that was the yway things were supposed to be. He had never felt that when he had hunted another wolf. Wolf's blood never sat right with him.. and the look in a dieing wolf's eyes was a memory that refused to fade.

Xihuitl was shaken from his thoughts, his body shivered with the words "No Con, nothing troubles me" He stated this clearly as to make no confusion or have his brother think other wise about his words. Xihuitl spotted the bucks and lowered himself slightly to the ground. The hunt wasn't as much to the running, he loved to run about and feel fast and untouchable.

Conall shrugged the hood from his head in an almost imperceptable movement. He hated how it confined him at times like this. The black and teal wolf slid foreward, as liquid as water over the terrain as he made his way closer to the buck he had chosen. His jaws parted, ready for his leap. He felt his brother at his side, the earth under his paws and the air as it danced toward him, pulling his scent away from his prey. Perfect. This moment, this tiny space in time was perfect. A buck lifted his head, and for the slightest moment he and Conall locked eyes and each challenged the other. Conall leapt into the chase before the buck could get too far ahead, ever muscle in him straining toward his prize.
