Elros Namasi
Spectre smirked to himself as he walked along, finally out in the open but not entirely free of Elros' presence. As his bond, she was always on his mind. He could close his eyes and pinpoint her exact location, even tell a bit of what she was feeling.
But he'd gotten bored of seeing her flinch each time he turned his eyes on her. And, apparently, she'd gotten tired of it too for she'd insisted he go out today.
'Make some friends, or something' she had said while carefully, but firmly, shooing him out.
"Silly woman. You can't get rid of me that easily," he murmured, chuckling to himself as he thought back on it. Her attempts were amusing, though.

Juillet was grooming herself daintily. She rather liked it here. The human she found didn't scream or freak out seeing her, and even had another of her kind. She would learn from them, but today, she wanted to see more of this place. It wasn't like anything Juillet had seen- but that wasn't much anyways. When she felt she was sufficiently cleaned, she stood and walked along. Her familiar was hovering ever closely, where she should be. "Do you think there are more like us?" She asked her familiar. "I would like to see what they are like if there are more."
Elros Namasi
Spectre hadn't heard anything but obviously Shade had and so was kicking up a fuss. Curious, Spectre watched as the cat-like familiar lifted off of his head and floated away, beckoning him to follow.
"Oh what is it?" he asked, half-tempted to walk the other way. But he couldn't ignore the nagging wonder of what Shade could possibly find so interesting and followed but he was too slow and had lost sight of his familiar.
Exasperated, he picked up the pace, rounded a corner and bumped right into Juillet with a shout and then some muttered curses.

Juillet let out a squeak when someone ran into her. She was going to say something, and try her best to look fierce, to scare off whoever it was that would be so careless in where they were going, but she stopped when she saw a familiar form. The one who ran into her was like she, only a he. She grew excited for a moment, but suppressed it. The little purple familiar circled around the pair, then around the kitty-orb as she watched.
Elros Namasi
Spectre shook himself then, retaining as much of his dignity as possible, straightened and looked down at Juillet. He'd never seen another of his kind before but he pretended no to be intrigued or even mildly interested.
"I'm not particularly sorry but I'll apologize anyway for bumping into you even though it's entirely the fault of my familiar," he said loftily, batting the cat-thing out of the air. "Anyway, my name is Spectre. And yours?"

Lural
She gave a lazy smile. It was as if she was saying 'Yeah right' with her gaze. "Perhaps he should be taught a lesson. Such carelessness is unacceptable, is it not?" She watched the orb be smacked from the air. "I am Juillet. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Her own familiar didn't seem happy when the other was hit, and she floated over to his side. "Curious things."
Elros Namasi
"Oh, probably. But it'd more than likely be a waste of time," he answered, letting Shade go and watching as the cat-thing floated up to join its fellow familiar.
"Curious things, indeed. Shade here was given to me by my bond when I was summoned," Spectre added matter-of-factly.

Juillet watched the familiars. "I can't remember a time without ... um... Well, she hasn't yet told me her name. But she's been with me since before I bonded to anyone here." She sat down a moment and cleaned her face a little. "Are there others like us? I have not seen many. Just you, and the other who bonded with my ward." She referred to her human.
Elros Namasi
"I couldn't tell you. As far as I know, there is only you and I and this other you mentioned," Spectre replied casually but deep down he was thrilled. Obviously there must be more of their kind..
Shrugging, he offered her a slight smile. "Shade seems to like your familiar. S'pose they'll be friends?"

Lural
"Oh I do believe so. My housemate's little one picks on my poor dear. Perhaps the pair of them can team up against Orbis." she laughed a little. "Perhaps you and I may team up against my house mate. I do believe she could use a good lesson." Juillet smiled, thinking about this.
Elros Namasi
"I think Shade would quite like that," Spectre said thoughtfully, cocking his head to the side and scratching at his ear.
"But what's in it for me if I were to team up with you, hmm Juillet?" he added, his eyes narrowing in direct relation to how far his smile expanded.

She smiled back. "Have you heard of this thing called 'bacon'?" She had a teasing tone. "My human is fond of it. It's quite delicious. I could procure us some of this delectable treat."
Elros Namasi
Spectre made a show of considering, chewing thoughtfully on a claw. He had indeed heard of bacon and knew it to be rather tasty. But he didn't want Juillet to know just how much weight such an offer held..
"I suppose I could live with that arrangement," he said finally, seeming to choose his words carefully. "Shake on it?"

Lural
She looked at him, not sure what he meant by 'shake' so she stood back up. "Alright." She then shook herself briskly before looking to see if he did the same.
Elros Namasi
Spectre covered his mouth with the paw he'd held out to Juillet, smothering the sudden laughter that overtook him.
"I apologize sincerely. It's something my bond taught me," he explained, failing to mention he had done the same thing when faced with this new term.
"See, you hold out your paw and clasp the other person's then shake like this," he said, miming the motion.

"Oh." She felt foolish, but she took his paw and shook it, letting him control the motion. "I haven't spent too much time with my bond yet. I only found her naught but last night." Juillet walked around him once, like she was inspecting him before she returned to stand in front of him. She nodded, though he wouldn't know why.
Elros Namasi
"Ah. Well, I've had some time to get to know my bond. She is..interesting. But she also tries my patience. I think she means to..tame me or something so she teaches me things she thinks might win me over.."
He simply shrugged once again with a slight 'hmph' sound, watching as Juillet walked around him. He quirked an eyebrow at her nod but said nothing, smiling at her instead.

"I hope my human doesn't test my patients. I won't stand for it." She punctuated with a snobbish 'hmph' "As if I would tolerate any tomfoolery from her." She stamped her foot a little. "No human will tame me" She glanced over to the familiars who seemed to be playing a game of chase. It looked like fun. "Want to play familiar tag? First one to touch the other's familiar wins?"
Elros Namasi
Spectre laughed silently at her reaction, amused to realize he had felt much the same way before Elros had grown on him..like a fungus or something equally disgusting.
But then Juillet's attention was diverted and he followed her glance to the familiars, smiling at their antics.
"Alright then. First to touch the other's familiar wins," he repeated then shouted "GO!" and leaped toward the orbs, his feline-like tail streaming out behind him.

Juillet's familiar had to see what spooked her new companion and gave a strange 'whee' sound before she took off. Juillet chased the little cat tailed ball, trying to grab it's tail. The flowered orb streamed past Specter, her ribbons flailing behind her. Juillet leaped at the cat orb, her paw just missing it's tail.
Elros Namasi
Spectre let out a low growl as he landed on his feet, looking up at the flowery orb and twitching his tail from side to side like a cat.
"I'll get you," he cried, making a grab for Lily but she was too quick. Letting out a huff of exasperation, he tried a different tack.
"Please come here?"
Shade let out a mewl that sounded like a laugh then rolled over in the air once before slowly drifting down toward Juillet. The cat-thing purred then and alighted on Juillet's head, making her the winner,
"Aw, little traitor."

Juillet smiled and reached up and rubbed the things head as Lilly drifted down and nuzzled Specter a little before floating to be between the two winiko.
Elros Namasi
The rumbly purr Shade was emitting went even lower, seeming to come from Shade's toes..that is, if he had had any.
Spectre let out a puff of air toward the offending familiar, trying not to smile. Then he padded over to sit in front of Juillet and reached out, gently prodding Shade.
"Like her better, do you? I see how it is."

Juillet snickered and watched her familiar drift around their heads. "Well!" She said with exaggerated snoobishness. "Who wouldn't like me better?" She gave him a wink, obviously playing. Lilly let out another whee sound, as if agreeing.
