EXTENDED AND CHANGED!
As suggested by toasterphantom, we are going to hold a script writing contest.
The script will be of a commercial, and the script can be any length, and it can be for anything your imagination can perceive. No it doesn't have to be fiction.
When your entry is ready post it in the contest entries thread in the Show and Tell forum.
If you have any questions/comments about the contest, post them here or PM toasterphantom.
The cut-off date will be 1/31/09

Are we actually making a movie, like oustide of gaia, or is this being made inside. I'd like to know this before I put any of my ideas out there. I have quite a few ideas for a script.

We're going make a real movie outside Gaia with our currently limited resources.

What are you looking for in a story? How many actors do you have at you disposal? I fear that this guild is dyeing and that a movie will never be made. I'd like to help, but seeing as I most likely don't reside close to you, I can't. I'd like to help you and contribute to a script but am lacking some information that enables me to do so.

Somewhere around seven to eight of all the members are local. Those will be the ones able to act. As for story, there are few limitations. The theme can be whatever you'd like.

Can I know what some of the limitations are before I write the script. Like how many characters can I have and such. I have an idea for a flim trilogy and would like to know what I would have to change

For now there are almost no caps. I don't know what resources we have, or which ones are readily available. I also don't want that to take away from the quality of the script. Just make it as interesting as possible.

So... sort of assuming it didn't quite work as a competition... No one entered... Would probably go better when we had more people.
