This had been the first time that he had been on his own. He did love his new family and he was somewhat glad that he wasn't an odball as he had thought when his mother had come to collect him. He does have a problem that he wants to be the most beautiful and carries his mirror around with him, but he mostly keeps it to himself. As not to worry his mother about his sin.
So he had gone to the mall to see if he could find something he could carry his mirror around him with out breaking it. His brother Ves had brought him and came into the mall with him but let Ciaran do his think as he went to a different place. But now he should have asked were he could find the place before he was left on his own. So Ciaranf wandered around lost as he was tring to find what he was looking for. But every now and then checking himself out in the reflection of the store front glass.

Duncan walked alongside his father, looking back and forth with wide eyes as they went through the inside of a mall. He'd never been here before, there were to many people, to much noise, it had always been a place to crushing for someone like Duncan. He gave a happy sound, this place was facinating.
He could start to enjoy stuff like this, being able to be normal, "I like." He said, gazing up at the tall man that was his father.
June lowered his gaze, starring his boy and then nodded, "Good, feeling calm still?" He asked, ready at any moment to leave the mall if it were needed.
Duncan nodded, smiling some, "Yeah. Good." He agreed as he trotted forward to look into one of the shops. He couldn't help but spend a moment starring at his reflection in one of the crystals that were for sale.

There were a lot of beautiful people and so normal that Ciaran was so envious of them. Wishing that he could be normal looking like them as his tail swished back and forth in envy and as Ciaran played with the feathers on one of his wrists.
Comming near the store that had the crystals and was also fansinated by them as well. Then he saw another that might be like him but wasn't really sure as he was beautiful. "Those are beautiful, aren'they?" saying to the other as Ciaran still looking at them. One hand in his pocket to see if he might have enought get one and a cover for his mirror.

Duncan blinked, turning to look over at the smaller boy before giving him a little nod, "They are neat looking." He said, looking at the crystals themselves instead of the reflections on them. There were a rainbow of colors and set up with them were various other trinkets for sale. A store for nick knacks mostly.
He could almost feel his subconscious yelling at him and he turned to look over at boy, starred at him, then finally said, "Names Duncan." He introduced himself and then smiled.

"Yes they are," he answered but not really looking to see who was behind him. But then turned around when the other gave his name. Seeing Duncan made him wish that he had a body like that, but he would never tell anyone what he thought and wishes of what he wanted to make himself more beautiful.
"I'm Ciaran," he replied. "Also are you a seven of seven person?" he asked sheepshly as he didn't want to offent the other.

Duncan starred at the other boy, silent for a long moment as he thought on the question before he finally, grudgingly nodded his head, "I am." He said, turning to look back into the store window. He didn't like having to admit such a thing before there wasn't anyone in that place that he liked or trusted. There was that Mr Vampy who had been useful but aside from him...
On the outside was different though, "I am guessing you are as well?" He said when he realized he was silently musing for to long. He gave Ciaran his attention once more. He looked the other boy up and down, inspecting him but found him lacking any features that made the two of them at all similar.
Ciaran did have an interesting look to him though.

Something in Duncans body languige told him maybe he shouldn't have said anything, but then that is not how you try and make friends. His mother told him that it would be good to make friends that came from the same place, but he did tell her that he would try.
"Yes I am," he said a little nervous at being looked over and not knowing what to say.

Duncan felt a bit awkward, one of his first meetings with people since his strange changes and he wasn't exactly sure how to deal with this person. He couldn't help but stare at him with his trio of eyes, taking in his look before giving a nod, "I see... Its... nice to meet you." He'd heard people say that before and he figured it was appropriate for the current meeting to say as much.
He was proud of the words, a whole sentence and still he was feeling calm and cool, not even a hint of the normal anger that used to rise just from being around strangers. He was enjoying himself, seemed to even relax a little, "Want to go in and look around?" He asked of Ciaran, he hadn't been planning on investigating the store alone but now that this other kid was here he might as well...

"It nice to meet you as well." he replied with a smile. Ciaran not really careing how how much the other was looking he he knew he look weard. He thought that three eyes would be niffty as he could look at everything around. So Ciaran thought that Duncan was just so cool.
"Sure," he replied still smileing as he turned to go into the store and wait for Duncan to come along. With his tail slightly swaying back and forth as he was happy that he was starting to make friends and trying to deside on if he wanted to get something.

Duncan nodded and walked into the store alongside the other boy. It wasn't something he planned, coming into a store like this but... the fact that he was able to come in here was something he liked. He doubted he would have be allowed before, June would have been afraid that he would break something. A lot of the store's contents seemed to be delicate and he felt a bit... unsure of himself, shifting in place as thought it would all break if he so much as looked at some of the items...
He looked over at Ciaran to distract himself from his worrying and debating about what he was supposed to say next. He was a bit of a failure when it came to the social aspects of life. He went over several different thoughts before asking, "You like this shiny stuff?" He asked of him.

Eyes darting every which drection as there were so many beautiful things and even more that he could see from the window. It was so very hard to chose one thing that he could affored.
Turning around, "I do, its just so beautiful. I think that everyone should have things that are beautiful." he said as he spotted a pair of crystal arrowheads. Looking towards the owner if he could pick one of them up and he just nodded yes. Bringing into the light it glittered like the ranbow. Smileing he picked up the second one and payed for the both of them.
Comming back over to Duncan and put one of the crystal arrowheads in his hand. "So what do you like to do for fun?" he asked with a smile on his face as he was happy to have a new friend.

Duncan looked down at the crystal that was handed over to him, starring at it and the way it sparkled before giving a bit of a smile, "Do for fun...?" He murmured then gave a little shrug, "Not sure yet, trying to figure that out." It was a strange response but up until now he didn't have much of a grasp on his darker self so he didn't venture out much for fear of hurting someone.
Without that worry he was better able to enjoy things around himself.

Ciaran smiled as he really didn't know what to do but had some help of his other siblings to know what were fun to do. "Well lets get started on that fun. I saw an arcade not to far from here. I have been told that its a lot of fun. Most of what I do is look at my mothers collection of old things." he said forgotten what he was really here in the mall for. "Come on it will be fun to do and something new for the both of us," Ciaran said waiting for Duncan's reply.

Duncan thought on it for a long period of time before giving a little nod of his head, "Ahh... alright." He murmured. He hadn't been to one of those before now so he might as well go in and see what it was all about he thought to himself then motioned for Ciaran to lead the way, "First time here, in the mall so..." He really had no idea where things were located, was just sort of.. looking around at random.

"Well this is only my second time, but this is the first time I wandered around the place without a family member. But I think that you will like the arcade. It will be a little noisy but the games inside are fun." He said as he started to walk towards the arcade and searching his pocket for all the tokens Ves had given him. "After words we will have to go to the food court to have something to eat or drink." he said as he was happy as he could be.
