In my band, and around my community of band nerds around the county (kekeke) woodwinds were sworn enemies against the brass O.O Plus they're two totally different things razz

That's a really bad attitude to have. As a woodwind player, it's in your best interest to get along with the brass becuase if they wanted, they could play really great music without you but music for woodwinds only is much less common. I sincerely doubt you have a whole county of musicians that feel the same way as you. Woodwinds and brass have a lot in common. If you can't work with brass players, you won't get to play in any symphony orchestras or jazz bands and will probably find your opportunities to play in marching bands, concert bands, and wind ensembles limited as well.
P.S. If you're younger than 13, you're not allowed on this site.

Why is your mom woodwinds+brass? Wait...sorry bout that. I got a little carried away there...
Anyway, it kinda makes sense to put all the winds in one subforum if for nothing else, to save room. But all the same, some of my best friends are woodwinds (I play trumpet).

We're both wind instruments, so it makes sense in that way.

We're both winds. And without eachother, music would be boring. The subforum would probably be boring without eachother.

Because Woodwinds rock, and the brass paid a fortune to bask in our... Awesomness. LoL JK Because we're always there to bring each other up, and we always do our best work with those whose ideas bounce off each other. And maybe the people who did the forums are a little lazy, that may have something to do with it... rofl

I kinda remember when I first became a mod in the guild (or maybe before...?), the other mods had a separate woodwind and brass; however, they were kinda slow-moving separate. When they were combined, bam!, a fast-moving, filled-up sub-forum.

A lot of my friends are woodwinds, (I play the french horn, and trumpet) and you know, I wouldn't have it any other way.Wood winds need the brass, just as the brass need the woodwinds....
