Oh my gosh!
Oh my gosh!
Alex couldn't hear anything except for his mind running like a broken record as he ran down the halls. More like sprinted down them.
Oh my gosh!!
He couldn't believe Wei had done that to him! Aren't you supposed to ask first? Wait! Even if you were supposed to ask, he was a boy! And he didn't even know the kid. He met him like twice! Why would you do that to someone? Oh my gosh! All he could feel was the burning rush of his cheeks and the heat of his embarrassment. Sasha didn't even remember leaving the classroom or running down the hall. He just had to get away from Wei.
It was a wonder when he slammed right into something so hard it dropped him on his rear. "Ow..." Whining, Alexander looked up to see what wall he had hit and was surprised to see it was another student. Oh, he thought he knew that boy... from that night.

At first, he didn't realize someone had rammed into him. This wasn't the first time it happened, and More wasn't sure if he wasn't paying attention, or he just got used to people running into him.
"Uh, are you okay?" More asked. The young man looked half-concerned. Only half, because his other half of the brain had wandered to different places since that day of nightmare, where the science building got burnt down. More didn't even know where he was going until the little boy ran into him, forcing his mind to come back to reality and look around to realize where he was.
How in the world did he end up in the basic learning building?
The young man shook his head and decided it's best to worry about the other boy to keep his mind occupied. He gave Alex a small smile. "I'm sorry, you are not hurt, are you?"

"I--No... I'm--" Alex's shaking voice fell and he lowered his head, his dark violet bangs hiding his sweltering face. "I... I don't feel very good actually..." Combing his hair out of his dark red face, he grabbed for More to give him a boost, catching him by his pant leg and pulling himself up. "S-Sorry... I... wasn't really... paying attention..."
It was then that he remembered he hadn't picked up his books. They were still in there! OH MY GOSH! Sasha whipped his head around to the classroom door. Wei hadn't come out and he sure as heck wasn't going in. What if he came out right now? What if he ran after him? What if he told someone!? "H-Hey... W--Uhmm would you walk back with me to my dorm?"

More blinked. He admitted that he didn't pay attention when the boy hit him, but by the looks of it, the boy was hurt more than just being physically hit? Concerned, the young man bent down and grabbed Alex by his arms to help the boy get up. "It's okay. " More reassured, his voice gentle. "Is...something wrong? Something the matter?"
More watched as the boy looked around anxiously and turned back. At his question More nodded automatically. It was not like him to turn down a request, considering there was nothing in particular to do at the moment. Besides, the boy looked so...fragile. Did he get picked on or something? He thought the people at the school were nice, but there could also be a few bullies? Either way...
"Sure, if it helps in anyway."

"Thanks!" Glancing one last time behind him, Sasha held onto More's hand and started to lead them far away from this place. Once they were clear of the floor, the little boy slowed down but wasn't sure enough to let go of his hand. His hand. He didn't even know this guy's name.
"Uhmm... What's your name? I think... I've seen you before. I'm--My name's Alex. And thanks again, I just--" Well, Sasha didn't even want to talk about it. "Bad day I guess..."

More allowed himself to be guided out by the other boy. When they were out in the open and Alex spoke again the young man smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself. I'm More, More Krovaski." More wanted to shake the boy's hand, but realized the other was already holding it. "Well, uh...it's nice to meet you, Alex."
Seeing the other boy lowering his face More signed, not less concerned of the other's wellbeing. "That's not very good. Maybe if you talked about it you'll feel better? I mean, it's bad to keep it inside, right?" But what was he to say this? As soon as the words were out the young man felt hypocritical. He was not very happy these days either, but he didn't talk about it to anyone---mainly because there wasn't anyone to talk to. He was sure that EVERYONE had seen him or at least know what he did, now that the administrators had made a big fuss out of it. Things are too complicated for himself, More decided, and first impressions were hard to change.
Regardless, he forced himself to focus on Alex instead. "If you want to, I'm all ears."

"Ah--!" Alexander looked up at More and a faint smile eeked over his face. "Krovaski? You can call me Sasha Ivanova then..." He was very heartened to find he had something so powerful as nationality in common with this student. "Where are you from?" It would be amazing if they had lived so close to each other.
Entering his dorm lobby, Sasha felt safe enough to let go of the boy's hand, but he still hoped More wouldn't be irritated taking him all the way up. He didn't think Wei knew where he lived, but if he could find Wei, Wei could find him. An unsettling idea to be sure. He pressed the elevator door and waited to enter, sliding back against the handrail, his chipper mood falling south. "I... I really don't think I wanna talk about it." Just the thought made his stomach twist, he was embarrassed enough for himself. He didn't need another person judging him. "Thanks, but I'll be okay..."

"Sasha?" More smiled a little, "it's nice to meet you then, Sasha." The blonde wanted to mention the fact that he liked the name, but he wasn't sure if Alex would take "pretty name" as a compliment. He didn't have the chance to say anything however, before the next question came. More blinked, his expression dimmed for just a brief moment before he decided to just tell the truth. Alex seemed to be the kind of person nice enough to be honest with.
"I don't know. I mean, I'm not sure where I came from." More shrugged, "But I don't think it really matters, so I never really thought about it."
The young man followed Alex into the lobby, and felt the mood drop as Alex suddenly was depressed again. He sighed and shook his head. "Don't worry about it. If you want, maybe we can talk about something else to distract you from whatever that's getting you down?"

"Oh..." Sasha replied sympathetically and a bit disappointedly. "I just thought--Well your uhmm last name is.... Russian and I'm... from... there..." Well that train was pretty much derailed.
Finally, the elevator chimed and Alex walked in, worrying at his bottom lip. He didn't have really anything else to talk about it. He wasn't a very interesting person. But he was more than happy to listen to what this student had to say. "Uhmm so... like--what building are you in?" That didn't come out right. "I mean like... the... classes and..." Crap what was the word he was looking for. "I'm going into magic what are you... going in? Or... in, I suppose..." He looked much older so the little boy assumed he was further than him. "Oh sh--!" Alex jumped up and pushed the button to his floor number, having completely forgotten. Ugh how dumb could he be?

More was about to reply to Alex's first question when the second suddenly came, then a third...then the young man realized the other boy didn't press the elevator botton and was about to ask which floor when Alex all of a sudden leapt forward and pushed. The young man blinked, a bit surprised at the other boy's hyperness. Then, as he finally realized Alex was being nervous, More laughed softly, finding Alex's action amusing.
"I live in the teacher's lounge. I don't really take any classes, and magic sounds very interesting. I've met one of the professors there. His name was Kyuu Shinji, I believe. " More said calmly, replying to each and every one of Alex's questions. His voice was gentle, but there was still a hint of laughter in it. "What made you interested in magic?" The young man asked back, after finishing answering the questions, deciding to hold off on commenting on how nervous Alex was.

Alexander looked up at More and frowned gently. Was he being foolish? He didn't mean to be so neurotic but today was just wearing on him.
"Ah! Y-Yeah I met uhmm him too..." He seemed cool, if you liked baby-eaters, but his brother liked him so he couldn't be all bad. "Uhmm my twin brother... he... wanted to go into magic and I didn't have anything I really wanted to do so I followed him. I used to... like magic when I was little and read a lot of fairytale books but that was a long time ago..."

"You did?" More smiled, "I think he's quite sophisticated. But then again, all the professors in the school seem that way.."
The young man blinked, as Alex mentioned his twin. "Are you guys identical twins?" He always seemed to be curious about people who looked exactly alike. Like Lorioth said, it was the wonder of nature. "Perhaps you two think a like, hmm?" He smiled gently at the boy's last remark, although the smile fell a little sad. The boy had a childhood, be it good or not. But he...he had none. At least, he couldn't remember he had one. For a brief moment More fell silent, only smiling and nodding at the other boy's words, and waiting quietly for the elevator to arrive to its destination.

"Yeah... we're identical..." Sasha's solemn face softened into a weak grin. He fell quiet as well, watching the numbers grow with More until it shuddered to a stop and ringed open. Glancing over at the student, he finally stepped forward and out. "well..." He turned around to More. "I think I can get to my room by myself..." He had to laugh at himself. Sasha probably wasn't getting high marks form this young man, but he appreciated his help. "It was ehm... nice meeting you..."

The young man fell silent with Alex. His face remained smiling, reassuring the boy that everything was fine. He couldn't help, however, to feel lonely all of a sudden, being in a place where he was supposed to belong to. He was one of the students too, yet, he was set apart from the others after just one night. The teacher's lounge was better in technology and condition than the student's dorms, but it lacked people. People he could talk to, people he could be true to...
But the thought stuck him, as More realized that he really couldn't talk to anyone, not even a student. He didn't even understand anything about himself, what was there to tell besides what people already know?
"Having someone with you must be really nice." More whispered to himself. The elevator door swang open, just in time to stop the young man from being drenched in his thoughts again---something he had been doing a lot lately.
"Oh, nice to meet you too...Sasha." More didn't comment much as the other boy turned to say good-bye. "I hope you can feel better."
Comforting others was perhaps the only thing he could do right now. It forces him to put away his own business aside. It made him feel good, at least for the moment.

Alex looked over to his friend as he mumbled, though he couldn't catch what was being said. Smiling as best he could, he waved to More as the elevator door began to slide shut.
"Thanks..." He replied and laughed nervously, combing back his dark purple hair out of his face. "Bye, More... I hope to see you again--" And with that, the door closed and Sasha took a deep breath before looking down the hallway to make sure the coast was clear. The idea of Wei popping out of nowhere and attacking him was silly, but it seemed to float at the front of his mind. At least More seemed like someone he could trust, and that was good.
The little boy crept down the halls quietly til he came to his own room, picked up the empty bowl in front of the door, and unlocked it. His brother wasn't in. He put the bowl on Niki's bed and locked the door behind him, a little sad he couldn't just run to his brother for safety.
