Mine is DDR Extreme 2, but I've only ever played that and one other version that I don't remember the name of.

Those are the classics, after all. xD Classics? My dear, someone must introduce you to the REAL classics. Oh and I suppose the other favorites thread died....sooooo..... My favorites are: DDR 3rd-5th mix DDR Max (for BBBB and FITN) DDR Max2 (mostly for "Nothing Gonna Stop", but it also had more trancey stuff than other DDRs) DDR Ex2 (I guess) DDR Ultramix 2 (awesome and only had one bad song)

the one problem with Ex. 2 is the story mode, it's way too long and it bores me to tears.

millianth mile the one problem with Ex. 2 is the story mode, it's way too long and it bores me to tears. X's story is much much worse. It's like Dance Master Mode with actual plot and dialogue between the characters. "RAGE, I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE SELLING TAKOYAKI HERE. LET'S HAVE A DANCE-OFF FOR SOME REASON."

Zairal Extreme 2 and Ultramix 2 (Yes, I liked it!) Anybody who disliked Ultramix 2 is a terrible person. Also I think I've said this in pretty much every thread except this one but Universe 3 has become my favorite DDR release. Well-written stepcharts, murmur twins became a 10, the hardest song on it is a DJ Technorch song, lots of written-for-DDR kors k songs, 777, ∆Max (hurr), and a decent selection of licenses (not Extreme 2 awesome, but better than Supernova).

I still think it's funny how Konami had some strange thing against anyone outside of Japan who doesn't import getting to play Max.(period).
