 That is a conversation between Fredrick and I. We usually have arguments about what color Haruhi's hair is from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And he finally admitted that it, indeed, was BROWN. Haruhi's hair could be yellow, or even orange. If she dyed it. Which she does when she cosplays.
And also, Haruhi's hair is *cough*....tan... ninja

FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW: The novels came first. The novels are canon. In the novels, Haruhi has black hair.

Well, actually, black hair in humans is actually a very dark brown. XD

I noticed that in the novels, too. Not only does she have brown hair in the anime, but I think she does on the covers of the light novels that I've seen too, if I remember right, oddly enough. Maybe Kyon has some strange form of colorblindness, where he has trouble distinguishing from black and brown? O_o;
That IS strange. Wonder what's up with that. O_o;
