These are the most currant transformer incarnations so in your opinion which is best .
IDW offers an adult transformers story and ANIMATED gives us an kid story equally as enjoyable.
As for the movie, to me, it seem to be more fuel for Bays ego then anything else.

Have to see what the 2nd movie looks like. For the time being, the comics are what makes me happy lol. mrgreen

The IDW verse is amazing, especially the Megatron Origins.
Although, Animated does amuse me.

I don't have any of the IDW, so I can't say.
Given the choice, I'd go with Animated, simply because of the '5 times as much stuff' factor.

Definitely IDW. No contest.
The movie could have been much better, but it was still enjoyable. I am wondering what the second one will be like. It sounds like it will be cool but I won't judge until I see it.
Animated is a surprisingly good and very enjoyable Transformers series. Though not the best it's far better than many other ones out there. I also like all the G1 ties in it.

Mighty Megatron Definitely IDW. No contest.
The movie could have been much better, but it was still enjoyable. I am wondering what the second one will be like. It sounds like it will be cool but I won't judge until I see it.
Animated is a surprisingly good and very enjoyable Transformers series. Though not the best it's far better than many other ones out there. I also like all the G1 ties in it. I agree with you. The movie is great, but could've been better (More screentime for the Autobots). Animated is Supurb. It's the first series I really care about since Beast Wars. Terrefic voice acting, great toys, and most important... Character development! The IDW comics are awesome. With G1, they practicaly threw away everything people loved about the cartoon, Marvel comics, and Dreamwave comics, which makes this one enjoyable for modern readers. Changes include... - Galvatron is his own seperate entity - Thunderwing is a monster - Their is a Nemisis Prime - Cybertron is DEAD! - Sixshot has a bigger role - Blaster starts out in a his cartoon persona, but later becomes more of his Marvel persona - Arcee kicks a**!- Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker are now F-22 Raptors - Jetfire appearence is a mixture of his cartoon and toy - etc. Beast Wars comics. I love them. The movie comics. It gives more in-depth to the movie, such as what happened prior to the events in the movie. It helps fill in the plotholes.

I still have yet to read the majority of IDW.
I love the Infiltration series.
Animated makes my day, seriously.

ChinAnimated is pretty awesome, as I've stated in my previous posts. It's funny and fairly interesting. Blitzwing is so funny. :'D

The movie was only meant to make money :/ It was obvious that the movie was made for money, not for it's fans. I mean, they do want to make money when they produce these movies, but the '07 movie just disregarded what the fans wanted so much and was so crappily done... I've already summarized my feelings about it before, so I'm not going to rant.
I haven't really seen any IDW, all I really know about it is that it's comic form.... Now I want to. gonk I don't think it's available anywhere I live though, besides maybe in a Chapters or Indigo's. x.x

I don't like IDW's Dinobots confused They look hideous! But I haven't gotten all the books yet... only the first one (Need to find time to go to a comic shop gonk )

I like the animated too its just that its on too early Dx

*sighs* Am I the only one who truly loves the movie? I mean, yeah, the characters look a lot different from G1, and the screen time with robos is too little, but if it weren't for the movie, I would have never even heard of Transformers. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I haven't read any of the IDW since my mom prohibits me from getting any TF items crying She wants me to be a 'normal girly teen'. B--.. Anyways! I personally think Bumblebee is absolutely adorable/hot in the movie. I am in LOVE with him heart And at least Bay got Peter Cullen to do Optimus' voice again.
..You're all probably thinking "wtf is with her?" aren't you?

Oh I'm sure people's seen/heard worst lol wink You are right the movie did promote TF right to the top and bought back everyone from their teens and early childhood. Unfortunately Bay still fails to give TF justice in his movie. Have yet to prove he understands TF more than the giant bots with big explosion.

You seriously need to find a way to sneak comics into the house (or get a job so you can get $ or something), 'cause IDW is AMAZING.
I also understand that the movie got people really into TF again. I was one of those people who'd catch some on tv when I was a kid, but then I watched the movie, and I was like, "Damn, I need to check this s**t out again." And I did. Plus, it is an entertaining movie-- I am secure enough in my geekhood to admit that. But... OMG LIEK THEY MADE STARSCREAM FAT AND UGLY IN THE MOVIE WTF! ;D
