[1] Literacy is a must. You don't have to type pages, just a nice paragraph or two will do, but please don't think you can get away with single-sentence posts.
[2] Keep all swearing to a minimum and in character. If your character is swear-happy, fantastic, but please avoid cursing simply for shock value.
[3] Romance is perfectly fine, but if you must take it to R-rated levels, head to PMs and don't post it in the forums. PG-13, please.
[4] No, absolutely no godmodding. It's just obnoxious and frustrating, and you will be immediately banned from this forum if you do so. This includes being invincible or declaring yourself the supreme powerful being of the universe. You’re not. Deal with it. Remember: everyone bleeds! If you act like you can’t be harmed, expect to be banned.
*Note: Creative license is allowed during fight scenes and such, but if we receive too many complaints, there will be no mercy.
[5] Under this premise, please ask a roleplayer before doing anything like killing their character or giving yourself some sort of deep-seeded link to them. Unauthorized deaths or relationships will not be tolerated.
[6] Take advantage of BBC codes and punctuation! Make sure we can tell when you're thinking, talking, and acting by using italics or bold [thoughts], quotation marks [speech], and preferrably basic font for actions. Asteriks are strictly forbidden in accordance with rule number [1].
[7] Accept that not everyone is at your skill-level, whether that means they're much better or much worse than you. No one should have to shorten or lengthen their posts just to please another person.
[8] Someone may have a character or a style that you don't like. Flame them on this basis or any other, and you will be banned.
[9] Charming_Sadist, Phengari_Canis_Lupus, Daska, and Creator of Destruction are the GODS of this Guild. Defy them and burn. 4laugh
[10] In individual topics, the gods are those who created the roleplay. Their whitelist is their selection of high priests. Do not go against the wishes of whitelisted members or forum creators as long as you are in their forum.
[11] Individual rules for forums may be posted in the forums, but all rules here are expected to be followed. It is suggested that you read all announcements and stickies, as well as anything in this forum and the rules of those roleplays you join in order to familiarize yourself with the do's and don't's of what we do here.
[12] If you are not a Captain or Vice Captain, you must PM one with any requests to create a topic. An application for this can be found here: Topic Apps
[13] ABSOLUTELY NO HALF BREEDS!
[14] Finally, take risks, be creative, and most importantly, have fun!
