I keep dreaming that I'm in school again, while subconsciously I know it's still summer so I know that I can't be in school and it must be a dream. Last night I had a really good one; it was very clear when I checked and pretty lifelike. I even communicated with some of the people who actually lived in the dream plane and they didn't know what it's like on our plane nor how to get back there! Real spirits or a figment of my imagination? Who knows.

I was reading a forum last night about lucid dreaming and remembered some of the things I found interesting in it and tried them out. I checked the times on clocks and the words on peoples' T-shirts and they kept changing, sometimes not making any sense at all. I went to the school bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror to see if I would really be disfigured and blurry: on the first one I was blurry and my eyes couldn't focus; on the second one my face was shaped sort of oddly and was covered in pimples.

As I always do in lucid dreams I caused a lot of trouble: I got a few lunch detentions, skipped class, and climbed to a third-story window to tick off a teacher. I probably got suspended along with several other 'accomplices' (who had never really done anything), but I unknowingly woke up before I could find out. When I did wake I felt like I was halfway between going back to my dream and waking up, but something startled me and I woke up almost completely.

I had some very lifelike views and some very un-lifelike changes in location and events, as well as an un-lifelike lack of bodily reaction when I jumped out of another third-story window. After I woke up I felt excited and unusually happy. This was one of the longest and best lucid dreams I've had so far!

Just a note, it was pretty hard to run and when I did I felt exhausted and my chest heaved with every breath, and I was worried something might be happening to my real body. Creepy confused

And so ends my uber-long post 3nodding

Oh my god, now I hate you!
crying
That sounds AMAZING!
I bet it was!
It was, wasn't it?
THAT'S SO COOL!

And I don't think anything would really happen to your real body, y'know?
Just those weird dream physics.
But I'm not 100% sure.
Just don't worry :3 Right?

I'm so awesomely happy for you!

It was, it was! I never thought I could make you jealous of my paranormal activities; usually you experience something twice as good on a regular basis xd It's cool though, because then you can teach me biggrin

And thanks; that makes me feel better. When I continued dreaming after the 'physics' I figured I wasn't dead, obviously, and forgot about it. It's good to know for the future though wink

Thanks! 3nodding

XD It's called a 'tape recorder'. You make me plenty jealous too, with your sightings and hearings and lifetime of experience! *shakes laser beam*

To be honest, I'm quite jealous too. XD
Le rawr.
I've had dreams where running is weird too. Have you ever felt like...weird in any falling dreams? Like...this weird feeling in your stomach? It's uncormfortable, and that's what wakes me up.
And one time I turned into a swan in my dream. I was escaping something, I just can't remember what...
I've decided that the swan is my spirit guide from that and several other dreams about swans.

Having trouble running in dreams is a normal thing, especially when you're trying to run from something. In dreams I have where I'm not aware I'm dreaming, it takes forever for my feet to reach the ground, and I fall down a lot. Lol.
But once, in the middle of running, I suddenly realized it was too unrealistic and had to be a dream. So then, instead of running, I decided to give flying a try. But I couldn't get my body in the right form, so I settled for running on air. It was sooo much fun. A lot of times, when I try to fly in my dreams, I fall though. And it actually hurts sometimes.

I too have a lot of trouble running in dreams, and during falling I sometimes feel an extreme intensity in the pit of my stomach. Two dreams of that I specifically remember was going down a slide and falling off at the end and riding on a swing and falling off at the top. Both times I woke panting with my stomach somewhere else trying to catch up. I also agree that running is harder when you're running from something, which can be really stressful when you don't know you're dreaming. I think that may be because of sleep paralysis, when your body locks your muscles to keep you from moving during sleep.

That is awesome. I envy you and your stuff. I think I've had lucid dreams before, but never that awesome.
