Duelists Court
A story I began working on when I was 15 years old. This story has a lot of religious symbolism and themes with the main characters having angelic blood mixed with their human blood.

The setting of this story takes place in a seemingly modern wold identical to the one we are living in now. Hidden underneath this modern every day world is a world of magic a world of mystery a world of Nephilims.
In a small ordinary town somewhere in North Carolina, there is a boarded up and abandoned grocery store in a shady part of town. No one approaches this grocery store because rumor has it if you mess around that boarded up store you find yourself waking up at the opposite end of town with a bloodied up face and no idea how you got there. Hidden inside this boarded up store is an underground passageway to a world of impossibility. Where everyone is impossibly beautiful and their hands are tattooed with religious symbols representing their distinct race in the Nephilim world a world where no humans are allowed to enter.

Chaudere - Located in France *Versailles,Paris*
Occupants are of a mixed European race. *This is the main Nephilim House, were the "king" of the Nephilim race resides.
Cartahein - Located in the United States *North Carolina*
Occupants are a mixed white race. (Of course with angel blood as well).
Kindori - Located in South Africa *Sahara Desert, Egypt*
Occupants are a mix of Egyptian and African race. (Of course with angel blood as well).
Shinwei - Located in China *Wuxi, Jiangsu*
Occupants are a mix of different Asian races primarily Chinese. (Of course with angel blood as well).
Trilliano - Located in the United States *Ohio*
Occupants are mainly Italian.
Mesdora: Located in France *Marly-le-Roi, Paris*
Occupants are a mixed European race.
Allahasta: Location unknown
Occupants are mainly diseased. Known to have been of a European race.
Shwt: Location in France *Versailles,Paris*
Occupants are of a mixed Egyptian, European, and African ancestry.

Protagonist
 Character Name: Amy Porter
Age: 15
Race: Nephilim
House: Chaudere *Keeps House Hidden*
Location: North Carolina
Profession: Student, Protector of Humanity, Princess of the Royal Chaudere House but in Hiding.
Personality: Very chatty, she hates silence so whatever random thing she can think of to say she'll say. Except for when she is around men, she gets shy and all she can do is giggle. Righteous, kind-hearted, and she hates to be ignored . . . kind of hard to avoid though since she is invisible to most humans, she has a deep love for humans and the more she realizes that she is not one the deeper her love for the human race becomes.
Abilities: Water, The Twin Lights can summon and use water based attacks, The Holoform can create multiple life like copies of herself as well as turning her invisible *which is useless cause she is invisible to most humans anyways*, The Communication Devices are pretty much the same thing as cellular phones except they can only communicate with a person who has one of their own and they never get lost signals.
Weapons: Her twin short swords called the Twin Lights, a pendant necklace called the Holoform, and a pair of small blue earrings called the Communication Devices.
Quirks: Amy has four different forms throughout the series, the first form is her ordinary human form >Example< where she tends to carry around a small pink digital camera at all times; her second form is her hidden form >Example<, in this form she must have her right hand covered at all times so her symbolic tattoo is hidden at all times and the coloring of her clothing must be mainly black; her third form >Example< is a form in which she must keep her right hand uncovered at all times to show her marking and her main clothing color must be mostly white; and lastly her fourth form >example< is a main color mix of white and rainbow colors representing every nephilim house, her right hand must be visible and she now has a pair of white wings.
History: Amy Porter is just a normal 15 year old girl, except for the fact that no one can see her, she is literally invisible to the human eye. After being kidnapped in the night and brought to a bizarre underground world out of some child's wildest fantasies she is put through a series of tests that prove her to be not only of the nephilim race but also the last female and only hope for the survival of the Royal Nephilim House, The Chaudere House.
Many people wish for the Chaudere House to lose it's power so another House can rise to the 'Royal Status' because of this Amy must keep her lineage secret to protect not only herself but the Chaudere line.
Main Relations: Evan - Amy's first love and the only human who can see her, but the closer the two of them get the more uncomfortable Amy feels. Layla - Amy's strict bodyguard whom Amy is at first afraid of but as they get to know each other she feels more comfortable around her and feels a great deal safer knowing that Layla will always be just a step behind her.Rex - At first an annoying pest who always seems to poke his nose in Amy's personal emotions as the story progresses she finds his advice invaluable and is glad to have him as a friend.Mei - An enemy at first, Amy disliked Mei's rude personality but as the story progresses Amy finds Mei a loyal friend who stands behind her when she needs someone beside her the most.Carrie Ann - An enemy at first, but after Carrie Ann is betrayed by someone she loved and Amy saves her life Carrie Ann becomes a loyal friend that Amy can depend on. Michael - A human that can not see Amy but despite this she notices him. Michael is always just nearly escaping seriously dangerous situations and Amy considers it a responsibility of hers to watch out for Michael and make sure he stays safe. Amy finds herself feeling a great deal of compassion for him.

Antagonist
 Character Name: Yong Do
Age: 16
Race: Seemingly Human it is later revealed that he is a Nephilim
House: Allahasta *This house is the line of descendants that came from the fallen Angel Lucifer, because of their tainted blood the other houses have searched for this house and have destroyed as many of the descendants as they could find, to be of the Allahasta house it to immediately have a death sentence put on your head.
*Keeps his house hidden as well.
Location:Small Town
Profession: Student, Boys Magazine Model and small time actor for drama t.v series.
Personality: Seemingly calm but he is often moody and often lashes out in anger at the people around him especially when he becomes closer to Amy. At times where he is completely quiet and calm he sometimes becomes suicidal. Sometimes it almost seems like he is in physical pain for no apparent reason.
Abilities: Elements: Poison, Shadows, and Manipulation. His sword Acceptance is coated with a fast acting poison that does not kill but brings a person to an incredibly weakened state. He has named it Acceptance because once he slices a person with his sword he claims that you belong to Lucifer now, the sword's cuts do not heal on the victim and the person is branded with the scars for life.
Weapons: A long broad sword which he has named Acceptance.

History: Evan Walker is the son of an absent famous Actress and an equally absent famous movie producer. Being raised mostly by his families butler Evan has learned little of love or compassion. He is often seen as a spoiled
Main Relations: Amy - An odd girl that Evan notices due to the fact that everyone around her acts like she is invisible. As he gets to know her he falls incredibly in love with her but at the same time he becomes twisted inside by physical pain. Layla - An enemy of Evan. She is always standing in the way of what Evan wants.Michael - Despised by Evan, Evan often finds ways to torment him.
