Not quite true since I got this story off one of my friends after it had happened to him.

This happened to my friend M a few years ago (i think we were about 16 at the time). Now before I start I want to give you a bit of background on M. Hes a horror movie junkie, a joker and loves telling wild weird stories but he's main problem with this is he can never keep a straight face or keep his story straight. This is one reason I believe him when he tell me this story.

So one night he was round another friends house drinking (I know we're so bad unaged drinking and all that) when a group of them decided to go for a walk to clear their heads. And they happened to find themselves at the local church, M's friend (they went to middle school together but I only knew M through High School) told him about an old story he heard at pre-school (my first-school had a similar story about out local church) that if you walk around the church three times something would happen.

Well being slightly drunk M and a couple of the others decided to do this. At first nothing happened to they walked the opposite way around the church three time and that time something happened.

Part of the church is in ruins with only a few rocks showing where the walls were. It was in this part that a big white cross appeared out of nowhere. Well every one freaked and ran for it. M and one other boy when a different way to the rest of the group and headed into some fields (i believe they thought it was a shortcut back to the friend's house).

Halfway through the field they come to some 'crop circles' (these were proven to be fake ones) and it's here that they go really scared. In front of them stood a huge white dog they did know where it had come from but as soon as they saw it they ran for all they were worth.

It chased them across about three fields before they came to a ditch (the ditches between fields around here are roughly 2-3 foot wide) they were scared enough to jump this ditch to get away. When they looked back the dog was gone.


When I first heard this story from M I dismissed it as another one of his stories (he also claims to have been chased by a ghostly foot) or the result of drinking too much, I still find it hard to believe but to this day he still swears it's true and refuses to go back to that church. I'm beginning to believe him now since even he wouldn't carry on a joke this long (5-6 years).

But what do you guys think? I'm not researching this church to see if I can find anything but so far nothing. Interestingly though, when I asked my dad about this church he called it 'The Chicken Heads Church' but he wouldn't tell me any more.

sounds kinda like the ghost dog story except that dog was black. they could have been drunk and imagined the whole thing. maby, maby not. *shrugs*
