haha i think we all download music now and then i always a good way to try it out...and then when you find it in a record store you cna buy it... the thing with jazz is...besides the big names its extremely hard to get anything off the internet...i suppose the jazz scene is just made outside the internet..unlike other music....cause every band or artist nowadays has a myspace.. i hope im not violating any guild rules by asking if you guys have any good links for downloading some good jazz

You know what i found was an easy way to get jazz cd's? GO to your local library and see what they have. I live in a fairly big city so they just transfer stock back and forth and then i rip em into mp3's! Other than that it'shard to get tracks unless your buying them off of amazon or somthing like that. Torrents work good and then there's limewire if you want to risk it. Otherwise i'm sure there's other guild members that wouldnt mind sharing files or whatnot if asked nicely.

It's hard to find certain jazz songs on the internet i've tried and i usually just give up and buy the cd or the song off itunes (as much as i hate using itunes0
If your hardcore get a record player and start collecting records you can find some cool stuff at used stored course not collection worty but worth it just to have a copy to play on your record player.
But really buy the cd's when you can! The cd's are great because you have all th informaton on all the artists on teh album including soloists and such.
And if you cant do that try the method i suggested about checking out your local library. ^^
