Firestorm Legion's Stregita here,
Well, I am not a gamer...but lately i've had a lot of time in my hands and thinking about the upcoming Gaia battle I realized how bad I was probably going to be at it. So I found this game 2Moons, its kind of like WoW but free. And its pretty good, addictive at least for me new to this kind of games and all...
So I was thinking that maybe it would be good for us to come together as a fighting organization unit groups whatever we can form with the remaining active members to actually play together.
Lets face it, we can't really do that in the games Gaia has right now, and in a mmorpg we could actually see how we do in battles with our respective teamates and how good we are at following our team leaders orders, we could actually bond again in the same medium we came together in the first place; fighting monsters.
Thats what we had in common, and my guess is thats why we don't do too well with the whole talking on the guild ...'cuz without something to fight there really isn't much to talk about.
Might be the reason CP can't really get in to the comic, she doesn't have enough material, we don't have that many experiences to record on a comic.
That was alot to type...sorry, its almost 4am and I tend to ramble without much sleep.
Anyways, these are my thoughts tonight er this morning. Let me know what you think, its not that bad of a game 2moons check it out, it would at least keep us occupied and close until the Gaia battle comes out and we'd be the most best organized fighting force by then.

Despite the training, if we just wanted more meat for the storyline, then I think a better mmo (also free, but only for pc domokun ) is requiem: bloodymare. Although it's a gore-tastic game, it's more along the lines of slaying vampires and such.

so the debate starts on which mmo to play...
Kiria- So strict on rules arnt we ^^hm in speaking, i never really read the rules..maybe i should od that.buts it too late to read the rules, ill do it tomorrow ^^

hmm i'd say use what we know of the mmo to find one most like it. the less of a transition between the 2 mmo's once gaia's is rel;ased, the better. wont do much good if the games are drasticly different.

Very few, for most implement classes, restricting customization freedom. And when it comes to abilities, many do not allow for changes in movement speed, which can drastically change the flow of battles.

If we try to choose a game based on the little we know about gaia's mmo...one it may take forever and we'll all lose interest, and two, we may not find it. But it doesn't matter if its a little different, the thing here would be for all of us to connect as an active united organized team.
Some of you guys are great gamers, i know cuz i do read all the posts here...i'm a lurker i know redface xd . Anyhow you guys are gonna be good at whatever mmo you play. What i think might be important is how good we play together, how good the team is as one entity.
So the questions are
1. What game to play?
2.What do we call ourselves?
the second question is cuz is not that i don't like Desu as a name, its just that i do not feel it applies to us or what we want to represent. Its hard to imagine "Desu" as a name inspiring fear or awe in our future opponents.

From my observations, I can guess that the GAIA MMO is close to that of Wonderland Online. There are some slight differences as to the fact it doesn't use rings, but it's close if you base it on interface. I asked Lanzer about that same question and he responded the same. He apparently plays WO too.
We're talking about the new name in the Wreck Room.. So... I'm not sure where the debate is currently going. Natsuo Seihara...

Judging by the gameplay videos I just watched at Youtube, I'm not liking the turn-based battle system of Wonderland Online. While there, I did also check what Maple Story was like, and seems pretty good. I wonder how customizable characters are in it.

Some freedom, but basicly nothing but following various character builds based on your job choices. yeah i play thanks to fuzzy-neko. and yes a zelda gameplay style mmo would be awesome.

I lead. I win. Can it get any simpler?... MapleStory is nothing without PvP. But I'll still play it... Only to piss off noobs. hahaha.
A Zelda MMO would... Well... It would probably blow the Halo franchise out of the water. Mikan Itsuki...

Well, I can see I'm already receiving positive reviews about a Zelda MMO, before even making a thread about it in the gaming discussion forum as I was planning to do. But I suppose that can wait, if we end up talking about it here.
I actually came up with a concept of how the Triforce would work, should anyone happen to reach it. That of course would have to be stupidly difficult, due to its extreme potential.

ninja no one say anything about anything, but, I do believe gaia's battle system will release no later than this October. Which is good for us, because I thought we weren't going to get anything done until after October. Which, if it did, would make me a furious D.E.S.U. member of sorts.
