Using her tail to steer herself through the water Ethelinda made her way across the lake. She loved the water and from the first moment she had placed her paw in this lake she had been a great swimmer. She'd never had anyone teach her though, she just knew. She was glad she swan well though. With her dark fur and these hot days she needed at least a dip in the cold water once a day.

Reaching the surface of the water she took a breath and glanced around, spotting something black floating not that far away. The small coral snake rina's ears perked up and she began to swim closer to investigate the object and found that it was not an object but another rina. " Hello "

Ethelinda eyed Lilith as the other Rina swam around her. She tended to be very cautious even if she was curious. “ I’m Ethelinda. ” Glancing to shore a moment for any sign of someone else with the dark colored girl. “ Are you alone? ” Not seeing anyone she guessed the answer was yes and looked back to Lilith. “ Your not playing with anyone? ”

Ethelinda giggled just a little as Lilith's stomach spoke up. " Looks like you should probably eat, maybe we can find some food and then play. I don't really have a play mate at all. To be honest your the first other rina I've met. "

Turning to look at the island Ethelinda felt a little uneasy about this idea. She had heard adults speak of that island and it really wasn't a place for Rina to venture. However they where just looking to rest and find food so it shouldn't be so bad should it she thought as she started to follow Lilith.
