Tal stood there, alone, leaned against the bark of a maple tree. The entire area was silent exept for the sounds of the birds, and the small gurggling at a nearby creek. He looked up at the clouds, they moving so fast dispite the still air. A sudden gust blew his fur foreward and quickley stilling to a constance breeze.

Eidel slowly paced back and forth. She was trampling the flowers, but she didn't care. She couldn't stop thinking about the news she had been given. They had found her grandmother. She hadn't even known she had a grandmother living. Eidel suddenly stopped and, deciding she had done enough damage to the flowers, turned to continue her walk through a small field.

Tal looked down from the corners of his eyes as he heard the grass being moved. It was the female he had met a few days earlier, her name was Eidel, and she appeared to be on a rampage of some sorts. The thought of going over to ask her what was the matter went though his head, but he decieded it be better to wait and see if he was to be noticed.

Eidel huffed, trying to clear her head. How could they just throw all this news at her? She wasn't even sure if she wanted to get to know her other family members. If they hadn't come to meet her or her siblings by now, they couldn't be very worth while Namrah; or so she concluded. As Eidel made her way through the field, she felt a strange feeling, as if someone was watching her. She glanced over and noticed a figure leaned against a tree. Could that be..? she thought. "No..surely not." She stared for a moment before heading over towards him. Sure enough, it was Tal. When she got close enough to be heard, she greeted him. "Are you stalking me?" she joked.

Tal looked at Eidel with amusement in his eyes. He raised an eyebrow before commenting back, "Who's to say you aren't the stalker yourself?" His tail slowley swished behind him and rubbed against the tree as he looked at her, holding in a smirk.

Eidel narrowed her eyes a bit and grinned. "You've got a point there. Maybe I am the stalker here." She stood next to him and let her tail brush lightly over his.

Tal smirked at her comment. "Well, what would a stalked want to do with me?" he asked as his tail swished again, a little faster this time.

Eidel bit her lip. "I can think of a lot of things I'd like to do with you..." She moved closer to Tal and placed her paw over his without realizing. She rolled her eyes at herself, realizing she shouldn't be thinking like that about someone she barely knew.

Tal looked down at his paw, now under hers, but made no effort to move it. 'Great, another weird one,' he thought as he looked at her and tried to think of something to say. "Oh really, like what?"

Eidel noticed her paw as Tal looked down. She felt a little bad for allowing herself to be so forward and removed her paw. "Sorry," she said referring to the paw touch. "Well, have you ever danced before? I think I'd like to dance with you. Or even see you dancing for that matter." She laughed, trying to imagine him dancing.

Tal shrugged off the comment referring to the paw. "No, I haven't danced before. And excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't the male supposed to ask the female to a dance?" he chuckled as he finished saying that, expecting an interesting reply from her.

Eidel looked at him, her face showing no emotion. "So, you're a traditionalist then?" Or maybe just anti-feminist, she thought. She thought for a moment whether or not his remark bothered her at all, and decided it really hadn't. "And I didn't exactly ask you to dance," she smirked.

Tal shrugged again. "I suppose I am, though I don't see the harm in that." He though for a moment over Eidel's comment, laughing at himself. "No, you did not," he said before extending out a paw. "But I am."

Eidel was surprised, though she tried not to show it. She smiled, a questioning look crossed her face as she extended her paw to take his. She took a step back and did a small curtsy.

Tal smirked on the inside, his face remaining calm. He bowed after she curtsied, saying, "May I have this dance?"
