 Another boring day for Takumi as he sat on a rock he grew found of over the years. It was a great rock. Almost completely flat on top, so it was perfect for laying on. Of course, he didn't think anyone else used it. Or rather he didn't smell anyone who used it. But he wasn't really good with sent like his father was. The day was filled with clouds, but wasn't cold. Just kept the sun from over heating the land.
Which Takumi was happy about. He didn't like when it got too hot. Even if he didn't worry too much. His light fur reflected the sun mostly. His bobbed tail wiggled every once in a while out of boredom. He just hopped someone he didn't know came by. Or at least someone he didn't like that was. His peridot green eyes watched the land.

 Elli stretched out here body, yawning loudly. She stepped out of her sleeping spot and shook her fur out. She looked around and shrugged. She made her way out to the opening fields, humming along the way "hm hm..hm?" she thought of her friend Takumi and giggled, blushing a bit "i wonder how his doing?" she asked herself
She walked along humming still, kicking a little pebble she found. Trying to make up a game with it. She would toss it up in the air and walk after it. She tossed it up into the air once more, but a bit to high, she didnt see where it went. Looking around for the pebble

Great, Takumi thought as he saw a familiar face. It was a female he had forgotten her name. Started with an E... or maybe it was an L. He didn't know. He glared at her as she came closer, looking as if she didn't notice a thing around her. His mood fell a little bit. She was slightly annoying, yet something about her made her different. But he ignored that part.
He looked away from her maybe wondering if he should just leave before she noticed him, but there was no way he could without her hearing him. Grass was everywhere. He was screwed. He let out a little sigh.

Elli sighed sadly since she couldnt find the pebble. She then perked up when she heard someone let out a sigh, She looked around to see who sighed. She saw Takumi and smiled wildly and was about to run off to him. But stopped, she fluffed her fur up and let it settle and walked over towards him. She stopped a few steps in front of him and nodded "Hello again"

He looked rather bored, but let up a small fake smirk. "Hi." maybe that'll keep her happy. He didn't want to deal with a unhappy female. He sat down again and crossed his legs, as now it was too late to flee. It was time to just put up with this small meeting. He eyed her and then the ground which she had been looking at before she noticed him. "lose something?" He asked as if he was interested in the matter.
Not like he could find it, he wasn't good at finding anything, but he could at least try to find it. Unless it was a rock. Too many of those that she could jut find a new one, right? Nothing important about a rock.

Elli looked towards him, still smiling. she then nodded "yes i was playing with a small pebble. Trying to come up with a game with it to pass the time" she said as she looked around "i kind a tossed it to high i think.." she said blushing a bit. Looking back towards him "you havent seen where it went have you?" she hoped she can get his interested

Great, it was a rock. He shook his head. "nope, I wasn't paying attention." He said trying to act like he didn't see her until she said Hi. "But I'm sure you can find another one, it was a rock after all" He said to try to make her feel better. Or rather trying to tell her she was stupid for not picking up the next one she saw. But no matter. "There's so many of them, losing one isn't too bad"

She looked towards the ground seeing only grass "....well...thats true..." she stood up and looked around, then back towards Takumi "Takumi? could you help me find a new one, please?" she hoped to spend some time with him "I mean...then you can continue with whatever you were doing" she lowered her ears and looked away

Help find a rock? What the hell did he get himself into. But instead of saying no, he smiled and shook his head. "It wouldn't be too hard. Maybe if we go by the lake or something. " Smooth. The lake, a stupid romantic area. But also has tons of rocks there. He kept the fake smile on his face as he stood up from his lovely rock and jumped down unwillingly. But it would get her to leave faster. "And no worries, I was just lounging about not like I have anything to do" What was he saying now? Was he inviting her to stick around him more? What was he doing?

Elli perked up happily when she heard what he said. She turned looking back towards him and smiled "that would be wonderful" her tail wagged wildly. She walked over and stood near him, waiting for him to lead the way "maybe we'll be able to catch some fish or something?" she stopped and looked away, blushing He'll never agree.. she thought to herself

He hated water. He hesitated before moving. "We'll see. " he said slightly quietly. Could she really get him to go into water and get her some lousy fish? Well, it was better then her getting all cold wasn't it? He had offered to do it once for another female, but she insisted that she do it herself. But that wasn't something he was going to get into right now. He started to walk in the direction he thought the lake was. Or at least what he remembered it being. "What type of rock are you looking for anyways?" He asked.

"hmm..." Elli thought about it, as she followed Takumi close behind "well...you dont have to Takumi. I can get one when we get there" she says, smiling happily to the thought of spending time with him "maybe ill be lucky enough and catch two fish, one for you and one for me" she said hopeful thinking.
"hm?" she says to his question, then thought about it "well...i guess i would say, a small flat like pebble, thats a bit round?" trying to remember what the last pebble she was playing with looked like

He didn't want her to know he didn't like water, it wasn't that he couldn't swim, but he rather have her think he couldn't swim, then him not liking water. To him, that was less embarrassing. "Who knows, it could happen" He said in a fake encouraging voice. Though, it wasn't like anyone, unless they knew him well, could pick up on his little act.
"Flat light round pebble?" That didn't make any sense. What did she mean. It was flat or it was round. It couldn't be two. But he nodded and decided he'd at least pretend to look for one, that way she'd actually find it.

Elli smiled happily, letting a soft giggle escape. Following closely behind him "then i'll do my best" she didnt care if she had to get wet, as long she can spend more time around Takumi
She looked towards him when he repeated her description of the pebble "yea...have you seen one like that before?" wondering if she describe it right

Takumi smiled. Then her next question he shook his head. "I don't think I have, but I've never really looked at rocks." He said truthfully. They weren't something he was interested. But then again, what was he interested in? He didn't know. Maybe running. Nah, that didn't interested him either. He'd figure it out later. For now, he still had to pretend to look at rocks.
"Maybe this one?" He pulled up a flat rock, or what looked flat to him. Maybe she'd like it. Not flat and round like she asked, or maybe he just misunderstood what she had said. "It's flat" He said.
