lol probably a really common converstation, but I figured we need more topics here!!
In Death Note, Light's purpose seems pretty clear: Use the Death Note to rid the world of Criminals and Evil.....
but I can't help wondering if maybe he had a different objective....cause at times all it seemed like to me was that Light just wanted to be God and kinda just Rule over everything and anything.....
Also, who would agree that what Light was doing was right?? Personally, I feel that he had really good intentions, but I think he had no right to be judgemental like that....and through out the story, I personally feel that he lost sight of his true goal because he became corrupted by power.....(not to mention all the "I R GAWD LOLOL" rants got annoying XD) it just seemed like HE became the evil that he wanted to eliminate at the beginning.. stare
anyway, I shall end my rant here....what do you people think??

Your exactly right. At first he pasted judgement on criminals that have hurt and killed people. After a while he started killing inocent people who had not comited any crimes. and people who got alittle to close. He got wrapped up in his own self-preservation.

Roxas has a point. I believe it first started with Ray Penbar's future wife, correct? She was going to tell L and the Japanese Poilice Squad something that was going to kind of stop Light so he killed her. She didn't do anything bad (or so we're told).

I think that it began with Ray Penber himself. He did nothing but trail light and would have gone way after awhile. But Light didn't want to wait so he killed him in the subway.

lol well it makes sense COO COO for COCO PUFFS!!
i mean....COO COO for ruling the world!!! xD
and i think it started with LIND L TAILOR because at the time light wrote his name down, he didn't know that he was a criminal and he felt him getting a bit too close/cocky and killed him....
ever since that moment it was kiiiiillll killlll killlll anyone and everyone who got in his way....wait....lind l tailor happened b4 raye right....*bad memory*
........or when he got coco puffs instead of fruity pebbles for breakfast the day before that.....xD
