I figured that we needed some new topics in here sooooo.....
In your opinion, which is better, watching anime, or reading manga?? I like them both, but If I had to pick, I'd say anime...only cause its easier to capture the overall feel and emotions of characters.......not to mention that I'm lazy and watching it is easier...XD
however, if you want the whole plot line of a certain series, it is probably better to read the manga....for example, with the Kenshin anime, there seems to be a lot left out, and the manga seemed to be a lot better for me....not to mention that the ending in it was A LOT better ^-^ (but, i did find that the Death note anime and manga were pretty much spot-on with eachother....)
anyway, I shall end my rant and leave you people to post what you think ninja

You can't take your tv around with you and watch anime on it lol. Well animes tend to leave alot out unlike the mangas. Its like reading a book to watching the movie...you can't capture everything in that 2 and a half hour period that you can in reading lets say a weeks worth of material.
ninja I hate reading but I'm going with mangas!

Manga is easier to carry around and sometimes it has things that arn't in the anime, But I still prefer the anime cause you can't get all the emotions from the characters in manga like you do in the anime. And in manga, you can't really get the full scope of a fight in still pictures. You can't determineif someone is a tallented fighter just from still pictures of there moves and attacks. You have to see them in motion to get the full effect of there true awsomeness as the do in the anime.

yeah...i agree...anime is better with the fight scenes....the ones in the manga just....aren't as exciting....not to mention confusing...
but sometimes a good manga can make you feel emotion...the kenshin manga made me cry...a lot...lol but anime just makes it easier to get the emotions 3nodding

They both have their pros and cons, but I'd have to go with manga because I'm a very impatient person, and I can read things faster than I can watch them. XD
