Background information
Nightmare was formed in 2000 by Hitsugi and Sakito. Ni~ya, YOMI and Zannin joined but Zannin left shortly after forming and RUKA (Ex-Luinspear) joined as a temporary drummer but later became official. They released six demo tapes that year as well. Their first maxi-single Hankouki both first and second press were sold out in preorder in 2001. As well as their second maxi-single sold out in preorder. The following year along with two VHS box sets both included a different PV. A single and their first mini album Outlaw came out that year too.

In 2003 Nightmare released two complication CDs Ore no mono wa ore no mono and Omae no mono wa ore no mono. They then were signed to NIPPON CROWN and released their first major single Believe in three different covers. Releasing another single with four different covers. Next year of 2004 they released their DVD/VHS along with three different albums and their Libido album. As of 2005 Nightmare has just released a DVD and a new single.
