Teller-Of-Untruths

[Flesh wound, flesh wound..]

Tomorrow I shall be going on a plane.
I'm going to Thailand for two weeks, lol, all of the school holidays and everything.
There's this whole story about my younger adopted brother (whom I hate) who we got from Thailand and shizz, but this is supposed to be a happy topic.
Not including anything that will make me want to hurt myself more.

(if you really want to go there then you can pm me or something... this is the happy topic to keep me going while we're gone...)
Last night me and my friends got together for a few drinks as a sort of farewell to me thingo
Even though I'll be back
But it was fun.
I'll miss my friends and suchhh though..
Two weeks with the family, sharing a hotel room with the Little Adopted One is not going to go very well.
But......

I'm gunna have internet while I'm gone, so please do amuse me with your little tales of your own family holidays, either over-seas or camping or whatever.
Or why you never go on them if you don't
I never used to go anywhere except camping with the adoptive families (they all became friends through the adoption agency and support each other and shizz, and we used to go camping all the time but then I got older and refused to go without a friend, if at all. I hate camping.).
But then mum got a semi-rich boyfriend, and suddenly we could afford to go somewhere interesting. Even though she insists on paying him back later, lol.
So yersh. Fun discussions about family stories.

[Flesh wound, flesh wound..]

Lol, that's one of the reasons I'm okay with going.
Internet is available.
I just have to pay, lol.
And Thailand really is beautiful, and I get to go to the Tiger Temple
So I'll have fun
Oh, and I get to bring my iPod
xD
I wouldn't be able to survive without my music

>LET ME COME WITH YOU!<
>I hate my house.<
>Uickies people live here.<
>I hate thems.. <
>I don't have an iPod.. ButI do have an MP3 player.. <
>Is there much of a difference?<
>But once a year my "family" and I and Liz go to a cabin and kinda camp.. <
>It's bootiful out there.<
>Only catch is my dad and bro come, too.. <

Sorry but I hate the idea of a family holiday, I can barely stay in the same room as my father for an hour without an arguement or snide comments being made, a week.... two weeks? well someone would die.

A few holiday experiences of mine....

I don't think I have ever been on holiday with them either, they went to Ireland and Scotland a couple of years ago but I got left behind with my sister, during which next doors dog killed my rabbit, my dog ate her and we had to spend £400 to have the vet sort her out.

I went on holiday with my sister when I was 13, the day after ariving she got rushed into hospital, no one that we went with (extended family) even bothered to come to the hospital leaving me all alone 600 miles from home. We spent two weeks at that hospital and they never found out what was wrong. I adopted a squrial and called it hola because it ate my hola hoops.

I went to Wales with my geography class in 2005 to do all of these wonderful things, walk up mountains, swim in rivers, get lost in woods, stay up until 3am doing work (thanks mr stevens). Nah it was actually amazing and a great week.

I went away with my sister, her friend and their family when I was 10... I got really home sick and hated most of the trip....couldn't wait to get home.

Holidays have never really been a good thing for me, I'm kinda glad I've never had one with my family.

MATE. FEED.

Ahh... trips.
Every summer my family goes to Arkansas and Texas.
But now that my grandparents are in failing health... the future is obscure on that matter.
Every Thanksgiving/Christmas we go to my Aunt's house a few towns up. I love it there. It's like a mini farm, kind of. Always have a lot of relatives/friends there.
And then sometimes we go to Albuquerque for Christmas. This last Christmas we did. I love it there. x3
And there was once or twice I went to Florida to see my uncle, the first time I dunno why, but the second time it was 'cause he was getting married.

I like the actual being there, but... we never fly. We always drive. And it's that part that makes me hate going on trips. >.<

We never go on trips. My family isn't the 'Let's-Travel-Together-For-More-Than-Ten-Minutes' type of family. Mainly because my brothers can't stay still, I can't deal with their annoyances, dad can't keep his temper and mom can't deal with dad's temper. And no one likes when mom is angry. <_<; So everyone has a kryptonite-effect on someone else's patience in a never ending cycle of anger.

I wish we would, though. Go out and escape into the woods. And I'd love to go to Thailand. o_o But yeah. I'd need to have either music or something other to entertain me when we'd have nothing else to keep us quiet.

MATE. FEED.

I'd like to get out of the woods and into the city.
Like, Chicago.
My sister went up to Chicago on a school trip last year.
It looked awesome. D:
I've been living surrounded by woods my whole life. I kind of want a change.

Change is good for a while but it gets reall boring. I moved to Manchester for a little while when I was 10/11 with a friend (my family stayed her, got sent away cries) and it was okay for a while but it was totally different and in the end I wanted to just be home where I knew what was what.

Honestly, I hate family vacations.

I would much rather go camping in the mountains with ROTC.
Or go to San Antonio and see the Alamo with ROTC.
Or go to California with the rest of my grade.

All of which I have done. By myself. Except for the people from school. It's like a vacation from my family, because seven (sometimes twelve) hours at school every day just isn't enough sometimes.

Hell yeah! I hear you! Omfg, trips with ROTC were the BOMB! I couldn't get enough of them! And we'd always host the football games during football season and everyone would just bring their uniforms in and some extra stuff to shower then change. And we'd all just stay after school until the game started and all throughout the game until it ended. It was so much fun! I miss ROTC. ;_;
