I hadn't even realized that I've been here for over a year...it doesn't even feel like it's been that long. I see so many people writing in their sigs "It's my 1 year Gaia anniversary, GIMME GOLD!! <3" but I could never do that. Sure, gold is always great, but demanding gold because you've been on a forum for a year...well, that just seems stupid, in my humble opinion.
I thought I would have been excited that I've been here that long, but it just seems like another day. I think I'll get excited when I've been here longer, then I'll announce it with excitement...but just because I'm not uber excited over my 1yr doesn't mean I'm not happy...I'm glad I found Gaia and met so many awesome people, that makes me very happy indeed 3nodding 4laugh
Discussion~
Have you had your 1 year Gaia anniversary? If not, how many months until you've reached it? Do you plan on announcing it?
Do you expect gold for being here for a year? Do you approve of people demanding gold in celebration of their 1 yr anniversary?
How have you changed since you first arrived to Gaia? Have you improved, stayed the same, or regressed? Have you learned anything, trivial or otherwise, during your duration on Gaia...if so, care to share your words of wisdom?

eek I've been on Gaia for more than a year.
In fact, this december will be my two year aniversery gonk
heh, i didnt celebrate my birthday last year though.::shrugs::
I didnt even celebrate my 5000th post.(im not bitter though.^_^ i had better things to do)

3nodding and you joined a few months after me, did you not? XP makes me feel le-old. ...what makes me feel more old is how i've been on Gaia for nearly two years, and there are people here for less than 6months who have 4x the amount of items i have! ..which brings me to another point:how utterly unfair i think it is that Gaians make so much money exploiting things like even items and donations letters. but before anyone says anything;i know this happens in real life and there is absolutely nothing i can do to stop it. sweatdrop

sweatdrop Merf...quit being generous. domokun and i think i have progressed. I want a beggar noob, but my taste in clothes has been refined, and i have grown out of the chatterbox(which i did about a month into my Gaiahood)

"holy s**t I've been here for a year D:" was about as far as my "announcing" goes. That statement was actually tacked onto a discussion about what little things you love to do.
I didn't ask for gold, but I did have something in my sig jokingly telling people to give me stuff.
I like art more than gold, though <3
And I've learned a lot, during my time on Gaia. Some good, some bad.
OH! And happy-really-late 1-year Gaiaversary x3

...i learned that ONLY Trazz can get away with sending his male parts in PMs , but everyone else will be banned xd
...i feel sort of bad though, i really dont care if he does it. Probably because you have to ask nicely for it. but it really pisses me off when some noob gets it into his head that because someone like Trazz does it( With Decency!) that they can go around harassing girls with pictures of their weenies.
...another thing i learned is that i cant handle the GD. the very first time i went there i was flamed to tears, and every time i try to post something valid there, im always flamed by people who feel they are prominent enough that they have "Secret identities" and only use their mules. sweatdrop

ive been on gaia since the halo was released....
yeah that was a long time ago.....i honestly have no clue but thats easily 2 years right there.

Its been over a year for me too....think I joined february 9th 2004, but I am not quite sure of that or not...
I was compleatly differant when I started cause I knew nothing about this site, and I had no money, and no sence of style for my poor little avi...also when I started they only had barton town and ile de gambino...and little to no choice in clothing...LOL

I've been on gaia for *does some quick math* 1 year, 7 months, and 28 days.
Looking at my profile, I realized that I have 5094 posts. 5095 with this post. I never realized when I went over the 5K mark. I noticed when I got 1337 posts however, and 42.
