Went envying her and me-
The wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
I realize that the manga and anime Inuyasha, created by Rumiko Takahashi has received wide-spread critique on many counts. Some say that it's been going on for too long, it's monotony, some say her characters all look alike. Some say it's just plain dumb.
But for the devoted fans that still watch and enjoy this old-school, demon-killing romance, I offer this thread as a sanctuary from the blow-offs, complaints, and disses. Here is a place where a fan can enjoy an intelligent discussion about the pros, cons, favorites, dislikes, and all around story of InuYasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale.

Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.I stopped buying the manga for a while and waited for it to end. Now that it has I'll probably buy them all in one fell swoop.
My personal favorite character has to be either Miroku or Koga. Just because I think their personalities are hilarious. rofl And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side

I think the manga is better than the anime but only because some of the stuff in it never made it to the anime.
My favorite character was definitely Sango, because she was clearly extremely strong as well as an excellent fighter smile

I definitely prefer the manga, if not because of the anime cutting stuff out, but because it's the original story. And Sango was the coolest female character. I mean, I love Kagome and all, but she was really soft and wishy-washy. I couldn't totally connect with her.

I like Sango best, she's really cute and like Deathfrost said she is a strong fighter. My second favorite character is a tie between Jaken and Hosenki just for their comic stature. third favorite is Sesshomaru {FLUFFY!!!!!! xd }, fourth favorite would have to be Miroku's master {Forgot his name lol} and my fifth would have to be Shippo mrgreen
Seriously how can you not like Shippo he's cute, and cuddly too biggrin whee

Vyvyan Newman I also love Kagome but she acts like she can't defend herself and it's the kind of annoying thing about most main female characters in mangas that's probably the reason why I don't really like the main female characters in the manga's and anime's I could never figure it out before lol like in Inuyasha I like Sango, Sailor Moon I like Rei, etc. etc. it's usually the second main female character I like lol.

Uhuh. I can deal with the female characters, but them being spineless is annoying. It's like, "Yo! Kagome! You're surrounded by demons who you fight on a regular basis! Ask Sango to train you!" [/exclamationfrenzy]

I don't know why they made kagome that way, she could have easily been stronger I mean she had all that spiritual power she could have totally pwned! But like Ravisher knight said, she was spineless unfortunately......
