From ANN at least... sooo there ya have it, discuss, ponder, whatever.
I didn't go to the panel, but I did see Mike McFarland wearing a dress and a wig, and the rest of the main cast had the blazers on, poor Patrick only had his shirt that said "The puppet made me do it" and he actually took a puppet from a fan minutes before the announcement. I was kinda ticked that he wasn't at the Funi signing session for Ouran... but whatever.

Eh... not ideal, but I can't hate it because Greg Ayers and Luci Christian are there.
And is there anyone who didn't guess that Vic would play Tamaki?

I love Vic, Love him to death, but I was hoping it wouldn't be him since it is sooooo obvious.
Totally called Luci Christian as Huni! Yes! And I am so excited Greg is in it, no matter what part he plays. The fact the he is playing one of my favorite characters makes it even better.
I did not call Mike McFarland as Ranka, but you know, I really think that will work. I look forward to it.
[edit] One thing I want to make note of: Caitlin Glass is amazing, and I'm sure she will do a wonderful job as Haruhi. But. She's the director... and the main character?

Well Laura Bailey directed Kodocha and she played Sana, so it's not impossible, they just have someone else direct them while recording

Well Laura Bailey directed Kodocha and she played Sana, so it's not impossible, they just have someone else direct them while recording Crispin Freeman's done this at least twice as well...and one of those dubs turned out to be one of my personal favorites. (don't know on the other since i Wasn't interested in the show in the least.)

Oh, I wasn't aware that Laura had directed Kodocha. And I wasn't ever worried about it, it just seems strange--unless someone else is in charge of the casting?
And Starre, it' a little disconcerting seeing the fans stand up and leave. But, there is no pleasing everyone. I personally love it when there's a dubbed version of the opening and ending songs. If people don't like it, they can just skip it, or switch the audio. I wish there was a better quality video so I could actually make out the words.

I like dubbed openings too, usually. I would like them even better if they'd put them on iTunes or something... but I know most people don't and I don't want them to have any excuse not to buy the DVDs.

Greg Ayres is playing one of the Hitachiin twins. Well, that's one guess I managed to get right. Everything else was completely off, though I did kind of figure that Vic would get Tamaki and Luci would get Mitsukuni [I still refuse to call that little bugger "Hunny"]. Needless to say, Caitlin Glass as Haruhi Fujioka surprised me considerably.
Thirteen episodes to a box? That should make acquiring the series cheaper and easier over the long run. FUNimation has nowhere else to go but up, I suppose.

I'm actually not upset xD I think I've become more lax with the voice acting thing. That and I trust these people. So.. I'll give it a shot xD and be excited...
btw.. Calica.. if you read this.. you're totally invited to an Ouran Sleep Over when the DVD comes out xD you and me and Cassandra. Just putting it out there.

God. Vic as Tamaki has caused the most bawwing I've seen over a voice cast since Naruto started. I understand being annoyed if you don't like him, but Jesus some people are pissing me off.

I understand not liking him as a person, and I understand not liking him as an actor, but not liking him as an actor because you don't like him as a person? What? The other complaint is that he plays the same voice most of the time, but so doesn't everybody else.
