I made this RP because i haven't seen a good space one in a while so instead of complaining about it and waiting for someone to make on i decided to make one myself hope you enjoy it!

The story is about an extremely large galaxy that houses two mighty nations. One would be the Arcadian Empire. This empire controls most of the known galaxy since they are master of science and technology. The other is the Bujern Republic this nation didn't follow they ways of science and explored magic and the powers of nature. They control a slightly smaller portion of the galaxy since their means of interstellar transport requires them to know their place in the stars .

These two nations have been at war ever since they have made contact about a century ago. At that time the two nations had finally figure out a way to travel through planet in their own means. But when they had finally made contact with the other things where quiet. That was until major disagreements between the two nations had appeared and they decided the other wasn't worthy for existence. So the war began and both sides where not going to stop until the other was destroyed.

A century later nothing has changed. The number of dead continued to grow on each side but nether side was willing to give. But a new factor came into the war. Both sides began discovering planets with valuable resources and their position good for invading the other. So not only the war takes place at the borders of the Nations but also at the galactic frontier where the race for new planets rages on carrying the war with them.

This RP will begin on a forest planet that has just been discovered and the two nations are in an intense battle for it.It is caled Raxis

The Nations

The Arcadian Empire

Past

The Arcadian Empire started out as a simple city that conquered its world through alot of battles. The Dominant species of the empire would be the human race since only humans are allowed to hold office. They became a powerful nation also through their studies of science and mathematics. Once they had discovered gunpowder they quickly took over the rest of their world. Other species such as daemons and vampire where almost at the brink of extinction once this had happened. Luckly for them many protests within the Empire kept them alive. So every non - human are allowed to live in the empire but in city's designated for them if they dare enter a human only city it is considered as a crime and is punishable by death.The Empire continued to study science resulting in them making the greatest technological advances

Present

The Arcadian Empire now is the most technologically advanced Nation in the galaxy . They now focus on war ever since their encounter with the Bujern Republic. They easily have the largest military. Most of the population in the Empire is still human and all non- human species only make up a tiny 16% of the population. They are oppressed given little rights. The only way for a non - human person to gain fulll rights is for them to serve in the Empires army in witch alot of them do.
The Arcadian empire is also the most quickest to take over new planets since their star ships allow them to quickly explore unknown area and with them drop of a good 10 Billion troops to secure it.
The Arcadian empire is a nation with a strong military and advanced technology but still consider the Bujern republic a formidable foe.

The empires armed forces also have a science division trying to figure out new ways to destroy the Republic.They also develop new weapons and figure out more about the Republic and how they use magic.In Rank please specify that you are a scientist EX: Rank: Senior Scientist.

Note: The Empire only lets non - human people in their army as normal soldiers unless they earn a higher rank by a commander witch is rare.

The Bujern Republic

Past:
The Bujern Republic started out on a planet where several smaller nations of mages and magical creatures mostly demons and fairy's where at war with each other. Each of the small nations had control over a specific element but none of them where dominant and where quickly leading each other to extinction. That was until a strange tribe of mages who worshiped the stars gathered all the warring nations and brought them to peace human , demon , vampire , fairy every creature you could think of stopped fighting and all lived in peace.The tribe leader then said " Now that we have joined in a brotherhood we will now become a mighty nation an rule over the stars!" and rule over the stars they did.

Present:
The Bujern Republic now at war face an opponent with overwhelming numbers and technology that has made them confused in the beginning.But they stood calm and thought things through using their unity as a nation. They have become a nation who's life revolves around magic. They have created machines out of stone that are powered by magic. Their ultimate defense against the empire is their mighty magical abilities and their support from other species. For traveling around the galaxy they use magical portals that send them instantly to other planets but one major fault comes from this they don't know where the planet is until the empire arrives and they hijack one of their star maps.
Of course this disadvantage is not without an advantage. Using their keen eyesight they can predict when the Empire is drawing close and can easily set up ambushes and traps. They can only fight using spells or at close range with any close range weapons. Bows and arrows can't penintrate Arcadian armor but their weapons and spells can.

The Republic have a special caste that can see through the stars and find new planets. This caste is called the star caste. When you type for your powers please put "Star viewing"as one of them to let me know you are part of the start caste.

Note: This nation has every race on their side do what ever to help so you can be anything here.

5. Please at least read the 'Present' part of the nations so that i don't get many mistakes in the profiles.
6. romance is allowed but keep it real and pg-13
7. If your character dies you can always make a new one.

Scientests have allways been considered "a bit odd" in legends and stories, and it was found out that they were actually "not quite" human, but as Arcadia was founded on technology, and needed it to expand and survive, many M.A.D. Scientests slipped though the cracks and were assigned to the ARD, a branch of the research division that takes a look at things that the normal scientests and researchers just cannot get a handhold on.

***dreep dreep** **dreep drepp** **dreep dr-click.

Draqx looked up at his trustworthy alarm clock, the design over a century old, but the LED display still displayed everything correctly, and it kept time and its alarm, though slightly annoying still went off when it was supposed to. Draqx dragged his arm back from the clock where it had hit the snooze button and sat up in bed, the new quarters a bit bigger then he was used to as his mind started to get going.

Thats right, I came in on the ARD-VARK shuttle yesterday, but it was late so they showed me my quarters and said to show up for duty in the moring... hmm, I better shave just in case, good thing I got lots of time... speaking of time...

Draqx now more awake turned off the alarm function, before the clock sounded again, as the sleep button only stayed the alarm a measly five minutes, and then started his wake up routine, shower, shave, dress, eat, and a quick check to make sure he did not miss anything.

Draqx was out of his quarters and towards where he was supposed to show up with a good 8 minutes to spare, good thing he did as he got a bit lost and had to consult a map a few times, but he walked through the door to the breiefing room 30 seconds before the anachronistic analog watch on his wrist showed the top of the hour.

Lisa called back her men after she was told of the bombardment."PULL BACK THEY'RE GONNA BLOW THIS PLACE TO HELL!". She did the same thing running back to get far away enough to gain some distance from the bombardment area."All right lets watch the show!"

John watched as he'd seen the ships partical canon began to spark up signaling the warm up process. He heard his Lieutnenant in his ear. "Sir Partical cannon will be firing in 15 seconds. John nodded his head as the cannon was becoming brighter. He radioed his snipers and told them to fall back along with the engineers. He heard and enormus boom and watch the ship release an awesome stream of energy at the ground. He felt tremors beneth his feet and shielded his eyes from the light. After the light was gone the battlefield was scathed black and none of the enemys bodies were left at all. He looked over at the Sargent. "Are is secure." He then looked up at his ship. "Lieutenant. Radio HQ and tell them to get some reinforcements here on the double. Drop some engineers I want this whole perimeter rigged with explosives and mines."

Lisa and her men got into the safety zone and she yelled out an order"Check your ammo if you have less than three clips head further back the rest of you stay here and reload your weapons and stay on full alert to engage any enimy forces that might survive the bombardment!".Lisa the radioed John"All right when your ship is ready send those bastards straight down to hell!"

Draqx found an empty seat and had just sat down when the first notes of the imperial anthem started up and everyone else came to thier feet at attention. Draqx followed suit a bit slower, slightly confused. The music played through and when it finished everyone sat, Draqx was a moment behind everyone else sitting, and took a amoment to clue into the fact that at the front of the auditorium style room there was someone speaking.

"Welcome to the Victor Alpha Roger Kilo task group, you have been assigned to this ship, the ARD-Prometheus, to study phenomena of all sorts, we hope your studies are sussasful as they are critical to the empire at this point in the ongoing hostilities between us and..."

At this point the other people beside Draqx started talking, and in fact most of the room was talking to the people next to them, and most were wearing labcoats like Draqx was. Draqx listened to the conversations as the commanding officer droned on, not even paying much attention to what he was saying it seemed.

"Pompus jerk, does this every morning, makes this big speak about 'for the good of the empire' and 'mans best hope' come on allready, I mean I am only half human and I am way more human then the commander will ever be, despite what the genescans says "

"Yeah I hear you, and the only reason that he got the post was because he is some high mucky mucks relative... at least when he looks over your shoulder he does not know whats going on, doubt he could calculate how to fold a paper bag, never mind how to get out of one."

"Indeed, good thing he is the only one to worry about, and only takes a bit of time in the morning to look all official before retreating to the bridge or his quarters, gives us time to actually do stuff."

"You can tell the rumours are true that he does not like non-humans, and even the purebloods on board think he has something shoved where the sun don't shine, at least he is fairly harmless once you know what your doing."

"Good thing the damage guys like him can do is limited to politics and out of the way assignments like this, though I would rather jump through a super nova then be around him if he ever gets abitious and does something foolish like actually try and help in a fight, you would get better help from someone that constantly shoots thier toes off then him."

Obviously the tone of the scientests was that they put up with the commander, and were far more interested in thier work, though some of the other conversations indicated that under this commander more off the wall experiments were allowed, and that the morning "morale" sessions were used as a brainstorming time and for venting letting the work time be more productive.

Lisa and her men stared in awe as the bombardment commenced. All her men began yelling they where all glad to see the republic forces being burned under the might of a Imperial ship cannon."Those hocus pocus using scum are getting what they need!"Yelled out a solider.
Lisa simply watched not saying anything.This was a simple battle but the Republic forces where far from being driven from the planet they had a strong grip on it and their numbers where enormous. They had fresh troops comeing in every day through their portals.While the Empire had to wait for their carrier ships to bring fresh troops and armor support."This is going to be a long war as it always was." Lisa said this in a normal tone.

John watched the Republic forces being burned. He smirked as he heard their dieing sounds. He then turned and looked at the sargent. "We have engineers coming in to set up explosives and landmines along with booby traps. We can have a couple of tanks and fresh troops down here in minutes but we'll need to hold off for 3 days while my communicators request fresh troops. Me and my men will help guard the outpost while we wait for the troops John then called back all of his Special Forces unit and then had a sniper go out on recon and report back.
