 Name: Nina Gender: Female Stage: Aware Personality: Nina has yet to come out of her shell enough for Lyra to find out what she's like, but so far, she seems pretty disdainful of people. Nina writes in yellow Name: Tara Gender: Female Stage: Asleep Personality: Unknown as of yet, as she still cannot interact with Lyra. Tara writes in purple

25th May 2006 - Tara grew to Asleep. 22nd May 2006 - Tara was adopted! 18th September 2005 - This house was built! 9th August 2005 - Nina was adopted!

Lyra pushed the door to her new house open and walked inside, her dream Nina following her. The place was quite small, but homey, and she supposed that it could be expanded as needed. They entered the living room and Lyra dropped into a large armchair next to the door.
"So, Nina, I guess I should get to know you a bit." The dream jumped onto the arm.
"I guess so. Well, start asking." Nina said disdainfully. She hated having to get to know people.
"Okay then... What's your favourite thing to do?"
"At the moment, exercise. But that's likely to change, I'm not that athletic."
Lyra laughed slightly. "So what do you want to do now, already I'm sick of asking questions.
Without a moment's pause, Nina replied, "Go to Nowhere." She leapt off the arm and disappeared through the door leaving Lyra staring in astonishment.

Nina sauntered through the door of the living room and curled up next to the fire without even looking at Lyra.
"Did you have a good time then?" Lyra questioned.
"Not really. I went, I looked around a bit. I left. Nothing of note." Nina said monotonously, her eyes faced towards the fire. Lyra murmured assent and returned to the book she'd been reading until the dream returned. They sat in silence for a while until curiousity got the better of Nina.
"What are you reading?" She asked, picking herself up and repositioning herself in a place where she could see the pages.
"It's a book on Philosophy called 'Sophie's World'" Lyra told her. "It's very informative, but it also manages to weave a good story as well." Nina nodded, and decided to read the book at the same time.

Lyra walked into the living room, where once again Nina was lying in front of the fire.
"I have a surprise for you!" Lyra grinned excitedly.
"Oh? And what would this be?" Nina sat up to face Lyra. Lyra kneeled down and opened her clasped hands. In between them floated a violet-coloured whisp. Nina's eyes widened slightly. "A whisp?" She said in barely more than a whisper.
"Thats right!" Lyra told her. "She's called Tara, and she's the new member of our family." Lyra gently put the whisp on the floor next to Nina and went to the kitchen to go fix a snack.
Nina crouched down and put her nose next to Tara. 'Hello there little one.' She told it.
'Um, hi.' The whisp nervously returned. 'Where is this?'
'This is where you're going to live now.' Noting that the whisp seemed agitated by this, she added, 'Don't worry, it's peaceful here, no harm can come to you.'
Tara relaxed slightly. 'Ok.' She mumbled.
Lyra returned to the room and watched, slightly amused at Nina's curiousity at Tara. She wondered how Nina would cope with another dream around the house.

Nina stretched and opened her eyes after a good night's sleep. She looked next to the cushion which she slept on, expecting to see Tara floating next to it like she always was. When she disn't spot the whisp, she started to panic slightly.
'Tara?' She ventured softly. 'Where are you?'
'I'm over here.' Tara whispered. 'On this cushion.'
Nina turned around and spotted an asleep dream on the cushion near the one she had been sleeping on. 'You grew!'
'It appears so. It feels... odd.'
'You'll get used to it.' She smiled. 'Welcome to the physical world.'
